Hi!

I did not really get it... Is it possible to sell a 4* crafted weapon?

For example, i have a 4* sword recepie, and if i craft a weapon using it - will it automatically bind to me? Or will i be able to sell it?

Ok, let's break this down: -

Ok, let's break this down:
- unless it's one of the special cases (Tortoise Shell for instance), your 4* recipe needs a Lvl 5+ 3* object, right ?
- to get this 3* object to Lvl 5+ you need to have it bound, right ?
- once bound you cannot* unbind it, right ?
- you cannot sell bound objects, right ?
- now, the crafting of a bound object results in a bound object, still with me ?
- so crafting a 4* object results in a bound 4* object, that cannot* be unbound and thus cannot be sold.

Q.E.D.

*: There should be soon an "unbinding" house where for a prohibitive fee you'll be able to unbind...

Items made before the change

Items made before the change are still not bound. Those can still be sold. But I remember hearing that weird things happen when they're posted to the auction house or traded...

No problems here,

I sold a combuster no problems, and am trying to sell a fearless rigadoon and I haven't seen anything odd.

Specifically, the issue was

Specifically, the issue was that someone posted a pre-patch 4* item to the auction house, then canceled the auction. When he got it back, it was suddenly bound to him.

If I had to guess, the items are still "Bind-on-pickup" so when he received it back from the AH, it counted as him picking the item up-- and bound itself to him.

Other people had problems replicating the problem though, so it may have been bugfixed already.
