Health Regeneration

While playing in a Gate farming Punkin King, I thought of yet ANOTHER Suggestion. Health Regen. How this would work is you Regen 1% of health a second when out of battle for 10 Seconds, And when you engage in a fight your health regen would stop until you have left the battle for 10 Seconds.
I know quite afew people who told me to submit this in the Suggestions section of the SK Forums so here it is.

You seem to be unaware of what a Roguelike game is. Or how to use a difficulty slider.
The game was not designed for, nor is there ever intended to be a method of cheap, easy and infinite healing.

I meant Health Regen up to a cap,

Say a Knight has %5 Health the Cap would heal him to %25 Health allowing him to survive for abit longer.
Also the health Regen could be linked to Easy Difficulty only.

Last time I checked, this is not Call of Duty, or Halo. But again, we do have a shield that regenerates. So it is Halo-ish.

C'mon son.

C'mon, just get some skill and you won't even need a health regenerator mechanism.

This game is easy enough as it is, no need to make Dora hold your hand on runs.

It essentially promotes dawdling around. It's annoying enough when people afk for 30+ seconds because they have to do something or rather (although I don't hold them to it) but seeing people run from battle like they do in depth 27 FSC because they want to heal would be quite irritating.

If you were suggesting some sort of regenerative health exclusive to defensive equipment, I'd be all for that.

Shields are already a regenerating mechanism that allows you to soak damage in limited bursts.

As far as regenerating overshields that sit in front of your health, do we really need that? Why don't we just make defensive gear boost your shield's health?

I don't mind the addition of armor hearts/spirit hearts though. With the whole 'your health resets to 100% if you didn't die on a floor' mechanic, I'd love to see a new mechanic that rewards you for not having taken damage on the floor that you can take forward to the next floor.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

The problem with this is that, like Hex says, it doesn't support team play very well in a fast-paced environment. And it could maybe make things dull.

"Oh, I'm almost out of HP!"

"Better wait for my HP to get to a certain amount so the Last Stand mechanic can kick in!"

Several minutes later...

"Scrap this game it has too much waiting!"
