It's the Location Assigning Device For The Advanced Tactical Not-So-Nuclear Missile Barrage Launcher. Basically it makes rockets magically appear from the ceiling once you deploy it, blowing up anything that's around the device.
It's rubbish.
No, I haven't come back from a time off. I had a time off after the Black Kat event, but I came back like in December. I've never seen that thing before and it didn't do anything when I got close to it or tried to attack it.

Auto Turret Kit? I've never seen this drop. Did it get undone from a patch that the wiki forgot to include, or am I simply unlucky?
apparently auto turret kit and ultra poison barriers are not coded to drop. sorry.
It's a (relatively)new Pickup introduced a while back, along with the Recon Ranger Flare. It's called an Artillery Strike & it summons (weak)missiles around where it was planted. See more here.
