Players cannot say or use the word Wix for their usernames.
I've done my research and have found no other terms for the word Wix other than being an acronym for wicked (cool).
Why do you think the words been banned on Spiral Knights?

I mentioned this EXACT same thing here yesterday.
I looked up the term "wix" one time and the Interwebs say that "wix" means wicked...that um, that's about it. Unless there's some hidden language out there that holds some profane meaning for the word, I think it should be uncensored.

The term in the German language is apparently slang for... Well. Something rather inappropriate to be discussing here.
Just because it doesn't affect English language users doesn't mean it has no inappropriate meaning. Now this may come as a bit of a shock, but believe it or not, there are people who play this game who do speak in other languages besides English. There's an astounding number of people who use hateful slurs or inappropriate terms in languages other than English. It's mind-boggling, right? Right?

Oh darn
What buggers me is that the only real word I would use in an endearing insult-sort of way (amongst friends or comedic people I've just met) is censored. Don't worry, it isn't in another language, but rather in another nationality, and a heap of fun to say(in my opinion).
It might be nice if the censors were set via instance, but as it is it's not bad, just rather odd.
