Actually, if you watch that video I told you about, he died like that. At the very end of the video, Ventus fell unconscious, before his body evaporated into light.

Coincidental parallel. I'd write it the same way if I'd never heard of Kingdom hearts but had that song.

And I DID tell you it was a spoiler, what kind of spoiler would it be if I lied?

The story's not over yet though. I'm still writing, and there's still Part 3 to get through. No spoilers for that, even if you guess it right, I won't say.

God I love sad stories. They bring more emotion than any other sappy happy endings.

@Demonicsothe Ikr? Read a load of them in Fanfiction.net and was like: Why.......do you ALWAYS kill them off?

Examples:
Taiora: Tai gets together with Sora after he argues with Matt and she overhears, but Matt gets pissed and pushes Tai, and Tai gets hit by a truck.
Tai and Sora go on a pretend date for 100 days, and at the end, they want to continue, but again, Tai+Truck.

BBxRae: Raven kills beastboy, or is the cause of his death either directly or indirectly. Raven dies via power self-destruct. They both die, they never make it work together some way or another. (Beastboy nearly dies, but survives. Raven doesn't know and deletes her memory of liking him so she can move on. Owch.)

BitxLeena: Leena killed Bit. Accidental-schmental. Beat him up a bit too much. Bit comes back to life but totally forgets who Leena is. Bit dies again later after a long and grueling battle where he gets haxor powerz. (Fortunately, Bit comes back again. He went and whooped the whole of Heaven into letting him back.)

The sun shone on what was arguably a good day. Drake came out to stretch his limbs for the first time in 3 days, having spent that time in the infirmary getting patched up.

“Looks like a great day today, eh Enzer?” Drake smiled lightly at his friend, who just grunted.

“…Not for all of us.” Enzer replied, looking over to the side.

Ange just sat there, on a rock, staring emptily into space. She’d been like that since they picked her unresisting body from the Core terminal and dragged her back to Haven.

She barely spoke. She barely moved. She barely even cared about anything anymore. When someone asked her what was wrong, all she would say was: “Max is gone.”

Even Feron didn’t ask her about what happened to Max. He needed a report, but he knew talking about Max to Ange was now forbidden ground. Instead, he had to get what he could from Enzer and Drake.

Drake sighed. “…I don’t know…”

Enzer raised an eyebrow. “…You don’t know what?”

“I don’t know what to do anymore.” Drake sighed again.

“We achieved what we set out to do. We beat the Jelly kin- MAX, beat the Jelly king. Then we had to chase him back into the clockworks. Now, he’s gone.”

Drake shook his head lightly. “Now, I don’t even know what to do anymore.”

Enzer sighed as he reclined on the grass. “I know what you mean Drake. I hear ya.”

He looked back over to Ange. “She’s taking this really hard. I haven’t seen her react this badly. Ever.”

Drake nodded. “It’s hard to believe she’s this upset over someone we barely know. He must have really gotten to her for her to care this much that fast.”

They both sighed heavily.

Suddenly, a runner came sprinting up to them, the one in the magic hood, stumbling a bit along the way.

“Ange, Drake, Enzer!” The runner gasped as he reached them. “A message…from…Feron…” The runner obviously took his job seriously.

“What is it?” Enzer said, annoyed. He really didn’t feel like being disturbed, especially now, when his leader was in the state she was.

The runner gulped down a big breath before continuing. “The Royal Jelly, the one Max destroyed, He’s Back!”

The moment those words left the runner’s mouth, Enzer and Drake were on their feet.

“Did he just say…?” They said simultaneously, before sensing some movement behind them.

Ange had gotten up, standing tall for the first time in days.

Drake ran over to her. “Ange? What’s wrong? What’s the matter? You okay? Speak to me!” He shook her shoulders lightly.

Ange just pried Drake’s hands off her shoulder. “…The Jelly King…he returned…after Max destroyed him?” Her question was more of a statement, and Drake simply nodded, too nervous to do anything else.

Ange nodded slowly, then walked in the general direction of the Arcade.

“Ange? Where are you going?” Enzer followed up quickly behind her.

Ange didn’t even slow down for him. “I’m going to finish what Max started.”

“What are you talking about? Ange, tell us what’s going on!” Drake demanded.

Ange didn’t seem to notice Enzer and Drake’s distress, focusing only on where she was going.

“Time to finish the mission.” She gripped Lady Grey tightly.

“The Jelly King dies TODAY.”

That wraps up Part 2. Short chapter I know, but just tying up loose ends before I move on to PART 3.

Max is gone, and the Jelly King is back. Unsurprisingly, Ange ultimately blames the gelatinous slob for Max's demise, and now, she's out for BLOOD.
Will she be able to overcome the same obstacles Max did without him? Or will she meet her end as he did?

Why blame JK? He did nothing. VANA and KING TINKINZAR pushed Max to his limit and he died.

Jk was killed in an explosion DUE to max beating the living crap out of him......

Ange blames the Jelly king because the battle with him was the cause of Max's initial near-death, causing him to lose his memory and therefore to her is the root cause of all subsequent events that lead to similar situations, and even though all that happened, JK didn't die.

And he came up first. Tinkinzar having dropped off the radar and Vana too far out of reach.

They should have killed the polyps first :P stupid mini royas regenerating the king.

They tried, remember? Drake was doing it.

We all know Max was suicidal....

...The awesometisity of this story ruptured my thought process...

Did you base your story on Kingdom Hearts? Cuz the music i know for sure is for KH. i think i heard it in Birth By Sleep Trailer...
Plus you said something about Ventus. And he was one of the main characters in BBS.

Did you read the note in between? The song was from Birth by sleep, the opening video when you start up the game.

But, this scene was based off the song, and there are tonnes of co-incidental parallels.

Even if I didn't see the video, but had the song, the result would be the same; the scene would still have been written the same way.

Atg, I assume your character will have your name, and that you're actually a girl now (both IRL and storywise), assuming that the last atgatg that posted waybackwhen gave his account to his sister/some female friend, or your sis is messing with your character details, or you were actually a girl with a brother who messed with your account, or you just want your character to be a girl. Doesn't matter really, just ease of reference. (I suggest you mail me ingame about any awkward details you want to clear up, should there BE any.)

If there are any changes you want to make/specific details you want to add, post them now. I'll be holding these characters in reserve until I find a place for them in my timeline.

Also accepting a special ability of some sort, if you WANT, but be somewhat specific.

ALL characters MAY be subject to minor editing, depending. Note: MINOR. Not gonna end up making a Chromalisk request into a Trojan.
Special abilities are more likely to change, depending on the extent of their 'haxorness'.

Wow...to be honest, I simply want to put something in here while I'm thinking of it.

Whilst I was reading these past few chapters, a style of writing by an author named Greg Farshtey came to mind: he wrote the BIONICLE novels for LEGO after Cathy Hapka had been asked to step down, and I had been very impressed with his writing up until the last few books. (:P) But, the reason I bring this up is because I believe that you have a very similar style in terms of the way you connect your characters and how the story itself flows.

I'll have some more to say later, but for now, I'll leave you with that thought...XD
