Me and one of the old LD players Feller wanted to build a new thread for (un)OFFICIAL Records. Rules are simple and prizes tasty.
Video proof, with a text at the beggining of the video "This goes for you Pony God".
The video MUST be on good quality.
You must show AT off on options and the toggle off like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He4wJGDiqpY
No ce rez allowed.
No arranged matches.
Me and FellAAr will review the video to see if it was an arranged match.
This way people will have an Official Record thread without Photoshop, arranged matchs and etc etc...

TIER 3

Striker Damage

Post a video over 25k and you will get 60k cr - Bing Bong
30k -> 120k cr - Darkcub
35k -> 300k cr - Feller
40k -> 1m 200k cr
50k -> 3m 600k cr

If a player breaks your record, must be by 3500+ dmg or 3+ defends to get the prize. If you don't break a record you can still post your video if it is in the top 10.

Example: Ezho get 30k , we pay 100k to him. RedblAAdes get 34k, we pay 100k again
Example2: Ezho get 30k, we pay 100k to him. RedblAAdes get 33k, we don't pay him.

Kills

Kill as many players as you can in 1 life without going to the base and/or using healthpads.
You can heal with the hearts that you find on the floor.
You MUST kill someone to get a kill, I don't care if someone steals your kill or if the player leaves.
If you go to the base it's like if you die, even if you don't heal.

+1 to swords-only

Thu, 01/30/2014 - 12:19 #206

Large-Noodles

nah swords only is dumb
we might as well make a section for each weapon
polaris only section
nitronome only section

a real player can play with or without certain weapons and do good (look at beefman with rigadoon and callahan... damn that stun hurt)

Thu, 01/30/2014 - 13:41 #207

iLafuDie1

remind me when anybody,

remind me when anybody, beefman included, has used a callahan vs decent players and done well

@cyrd well there's a guns

@cyrd well there's a guns only section so.... you know, swords only isn't a bad idea really. It's just rather uncommon though.

Theirillusion

"nah swords only is dumb
we might as well make a section for each weapon
polaris only section
nitronome only section"

Swords include ALL swords.
Polaris is ONE weapon.
Nitronome is ONE weapon.
There is already a gunner and a bombers section.

Also, it's easier to play hybrid than pure swords, so that Beefman comment only speaks against your point. So let's just ignore that one.

Thu, 01/30/2014 - 19:42 #210

Large-Noodles

Swords are the main damage dealers in anything
notice the sword record is 35k, and the gunning not even 20k
that's the only reason I think it's dumb. You don't need guns to hit high damage (point of this thread)
do whatever u want, pony

Fri, 01/31/2014 - 02:25 #211

Theirillusion

So what would you do as a pure swords man vs a VT bomber in chaos or bkc? All top scores have handgun side weapons. This means they are not as vulnerable while out of boost.

Fri, 01/31/2014 - 04:09 #212

djdovis

And illu just took words

And illu just took words exactly out of my mouth. When you are in striker mode you essentially depend on a gun when you are out of boost for defense and to fend off bombers when they are on point. I admit it may not be a great amount of damage from guns but they DO keep you alive much longer which essentially allows you to deal much more damage in the long run. Being with swords only you would have to be more considerate with your boost rather than randomly flail at some guy and then hope that he runs into your gun bullets when you are waiting for your boost to return

Welp, my time to break

Welp, my time to break records again. almost 20k gunning damage
However I did realise that I didn't begin recording till about 200 points into the match so I doubt you will accept the entry. If you want proof that I was gunning all the time you can ask literally anybody in the match who would've seen me gun(eg urta,zainj,thull etc). Any who let me know if this gets accepted and if not I guess I'll have to tryhard again <.<
