After we reach Vanguard...

Now I don't know if there's a forum for this already, but i'll do it anyways. We all know that once we reach vanguard we cant do anymore of our rank missions. I was thinking if there were more rank missions than rank 10. Probably up to rank 15 at the max, I know that there will be problems they will encounter when doing this, but since we have our BS (battle sprite) they increase our defence and offence. Some people will think this game is easy since they already reached the highest rank in the game and they have a BS to support them in battle. Thousands of people play this game out there, or should I say millions. Most of them enjoy this game but once they reach vanguard they will find this boring and will do nothing except feeding BS, forging, farming, etc. I know that they updated the older missions to make it harder for the newcomers.

They should add:
- A story line about the core but use the information about it even more detailed. ( they can add mission at the end of rank 15).
- have the green gem and blue gem sprite released (so the knights have more to do than the basic routine)
- Have more bosses in missions.
- have more (seasonal, activity-ish) events.
- (has nothing to do with the convo but I will say it anyways) get the revive system back.

Please remember that all these are based on my opinion. So please do not post back horrible things, for I am stating what I naturally think. Thank you for taking your time to read this post!

Three Rings is already working on more missions. We are also likely going to get a new tier 3 boss alongside it, and if not we will get one after the fact.

New battle sprites have been suggested and in more detail. You can find them spattered around the subforum here or through google searches such as "new battle sprites site:forums.spiralknights.com"

Seasonal/reoccuring events will come back, but every time they do Three Rings (usually) tries to add something to it so the old players have something to grind for. However those are temporary events and shouldn't be the main focus of the game.

Revive system changed due to the idea that "parties were hurt by the lowest-performing player". That player would slowly leech health from everyone else until everyone in the party suffered. In a good party that never happened, but in a bad one it happened frequently. This also was likely to address the heat sharing/stealing function.
Revives as of now are just fine, but we need a separate item that only can revive teammates and are cheaper so we actually want to revive teammates in the clockworks.

I've suggested it before

I've suggested it in other threads before. Something like a "Life Essence" rarity that has a drop rate of approximately 25% more common than a spark of life. These could be activated like the old revive system (attack over downed teammate) or use the current portrait system (which I rather dislike but might work).

The item could be bought at the supply depot for a better price than the sparks of life(Perhaps a 20:300 item to energy ratio). As such, a life essence would be cheaper and thus promote party play, and sparks of life is how you would revive yourself or bring back a party.

If this item is implemented I wouldn't be against a spark of life droprate nerf to promote party play. Not anything too big but maybe something like 15%-20% less common. I find one or two sparks just about every elite run I go on, and spend none. Finding instead maybe 1 spark of life and 3 life essences per tier of play would be a better compromise? Balance, yo.

Love that idea for the revive system fangel. It makes perfect sense because we do not want to use our sparks on other players that perform very bad. I think if this new system is implemented, we should be able to carry this essence with us out of the clockworks. Also, the sparks should lock to our characters so that we can only use sparks to revive ourselves now. I think then sparks and essence will have different values on the market. I also hope sparks and essence we find on the clockworks can be traded on the auction/player-player if this new system is implemented and not make it that i need to buy essence to be able to trade it. Then again, OOO needs to make money, so disregard the trading idea.

Essences should be untradeable, even when purchased from the supply depot, to make sure people can't just give a essence to another player, ask to revive them and therefore just use it as a cheaper spark.

But a great idea overall. Would love to see it!

Warning: Superiority Complex.

Basically your post seems to be; OOO should work on Spiral Knights. I think everything you pointed out was too obvious to need to be said.

@Fangel As Jim says your system is cool and all but it wouldn't work unless they were untradeable. Even though Jim says they can still be bought from Supply Depot I would say drop only (because buying untradeable items from supply depot goes against the norm).
Spiral Knights already does encourage team play. One of the biggest displays of that recently (well, not really recent but close enough) is battle sprites. If a team works together with their battle sprites the cool-down is pretty much zero. Not just that but all 3 sprites last skill is very easily team-abusive (all fight inside Sera's shield, set up Drakon fire lanes or spam the map with Masker).
If they did bring in Life Essence (I don't really like the name :\) then they would have to decrease the drop rates of Sparx by a decent amount (if following the drop-only Life Essence mentioned).
I understand a-lot of people will be against me on this, but maybe make Sparx only allowed to revive yourself. That would stop people bugging you about revives when you're reviving yourself (not that I really do...I mean I'm all for "you died, go restart") as you can just respond "sparx, sorry".
