Vaelyn says the Core is opening but we can't see it, can we?

If you have been doing the mission "Dreams and Nightmares" for the radiants you have probably noticed that there are some suspicious pipes here and there . What are they doing there? They are parts of the Core's hatch, which has been placed incorrectly (or not)! The hatch is shut down and apparently it cannot be opened.

Has Vaelyn lied to us all? She says the Core is opening, but the hatch is still shut. She says the Core is opening but then she says she's still trying to find means to open the core .

But the big question is: Has the Core's hatch been placed incorrectly or not?

There was no animation, or

There was no animation, or graphic for the Core's opening (which I was disappointed by). So there wouldn't have been a way to visually witness it glitching out of the cutscene spot like you did.

The pipes, have always been there. The entire world is connected to the core, they're likely just the power circuits that use the core's power to power the Clockworks that it is physically attached to (seriously it has to connect somehow, it wouldn't be able to freely float in the middle.

The Core's hatch can be seen by looking over the edge (At any other core visit that isn't "dreams and nightmares"). I strongly believe we actually visited the core.

Kora lost our signal at the core terminal (not inside the core terminal).
This could be classical circumstances of an unreliable narrator.
I shall remain... skeptical that the core actually opened.

Those pipes are attached to the hatch's model, and it's odd placement has put those pipes there.
I'm not asking whether we've been inside the Core or not, i'm asking if the Core itself has opened and if the hatch's placement is intentional or not.

@Klipik
Use a Gran Faust charge to suicide once and lose your ER. Curse yourself again and use a cursed weapon until you're one hit short from death, charge a cursed weapon ( shield + charge) get on the party button.

They reused the same model from the Vaelyn in the Arcade, never intended for you to go up and talk to her outside of the cutscene.

Taking a glitch at face value and applying it to the canon lore? LOOKS LIKE IT'S JUUUUST A THEEEEORYYY. A GAAAAAAAAAAAAAME THEEEORRYYYY.
