Which game should I make? I want YOU to vote!

Greetings, greetings. This idea just occurred to me. You see, I want to make a Spiral Knights fangame, but I don't know which to make; I have two ideas. They are:

  • Elemedals: A sidescroller which has a thread which is this one. If you've ever played Megaman Zero or ZX, you'll know what kind of gameplay I have in mind. This game would be far more story driven than the other game. This requires much more content to work...I'd rather have a team in order to make it live up to expectations.
  • Clockworks Slipstream: Ever wanted to play a 2D racing game that didn't suck? Maybe this could be that game! A very early Windows demo can be found here. Not counting hidden characters (which number to be around...4?), I have plans for making Snipe, Spookat, Greaver, and Wisp. The issue here is that this is largely going to be a multiplayer game; Anura (my current game engine) only supports turn-based multiplayer. If I do more on this game, I will have to learn Unity. (Which will take some time.) However, it should be much easier to complete than Elemedals.

That should sum it up. I'm not sure what you guys think I should make, so I thought I'd just ask...what do you guys want to play? Vote here!

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

Now, I don't have that many people voting, but it looks like, in general, more people want Elemedals.

I should have said this sooner, but after sleeping on it, I was realizing that, as a 1-man team, I could probably get Clockworks Slipstream done in...2-ish months. (1 without school.) Elemedals could take...ahrm...a LOT longer than that.

So I might have to end up making both! In the rare situation that Elemedals absolutely landslides in votes (100+), then I'll consider making Elemedals instead and not even making Clockworks Slipstream. In the case that things stay more even, however, I'll probably make Clockworks Slipstream, and then another (small-ish) game which I can sell. (I mean, come on, I've already made 1 game that I'm not selling, and fangames cannot be sold, either.) After THAT, then I'd take the time to make Elemedals, instead of going on to another project to sell.

But I think I'll go around in Spiral Knights and ask around. Understand that while this is going on I'm not wasting my time...there's a lot still to learn about Unity!
