Hey guys, here is my entry for the contest.
I tried to make a Black Kat from a single butternut. Took me a while this afternoon but I am glad with the results, especially the ears!

KD's Snarb 2K15
I wanted to make a Snarb for my entry. Took about 3 hours spanned along 2 days; weather didn't cooperate on day 1 so I had to put it on hold. Pretty happy with the way it came out considering it's my second or third pumpkin. Still a little sad about the small accident on one of his ears but I didn't poke/stab myself with the tools, so it evens out.

This year's carving is a pumpkin-ized Lord Vanaduke that took two days and two pumpkins to make, one for the body and the other for the cape, arms, and minor details. The cape and shoulder guards were attached using bamboo skewers and almost everything else are held together using galvanized steel wire.
