what i want most of all for guilds is being able to upgrade your guild hall! i want to be able to buy things to make it look better.
i want useful things mostly, but i would love to see decorations as well.
my idea for some useful things would be allowing the guild master to buy shops for the guild hall, so you can have a token person, and anything else
i would also like being able to buy an auction house for your guild so people can place things there while hanging with their guildies, or in a guild meeting
last but not least of my useful things i want a clockworks terminal in the guild hall.
a few things that are mostly decorative would be a message board or a "secratary" that says stuff every few seconds.
the secratary could be a bunch of different creatures you find around the clockworks, for example you could hire a ghost cat that you see on the tier 2 entrance.
being able to buy snipes that roam your guild hall, you can buy as many as you want so if you have enough you can fill your entire guild hall and never feel lonely!
I agree the guild hall should definitely hold more functionality than it does, here's some ideas:
-Crafting should come at a minor discount in guildhall (gives players an incentive to start and remain in a guild)
-Guild bank, many players work together in guilds; why not make a guild bank where you can dump your materials and cash, ce etc. have some pages of Guild bank that you can set permissions i.e. officers only etc. to prevent ninja'ing
-purchaseable guildhall upgrades like the OP mentioned with snipes, vendor, vanity interior design, secretary is awesome idea, have a gate to clockworks that you can deposit minerals into so that your guild can vote on the maps they'd like to see instead of having to conform to the generic poison, shock combo that inevitably comes out of every new gate nowadays with people constantly hitting auto-sell and not caring what levels they're generating.
A note for the devs to consider is that if some of the upgrades had a bit of a CE cost to them (nothing should be equal to the initial 500ce cost of creating a guild though) this would result in people having to buy more CE = more cash for devs, devs like more cash right? Everyone's happy.
PS: secretary should be on a wage; you can hire out different ones for X number of crowns per week and they quit their job if you don't have enough in the guild bank come pay day, better secretaries like "mum" for instance (americans can say mom if they wish) send you a useable item "lunchbox" on your first run of each day to fully restore all your health just one time, but mum isn't an easy secretary to get a hold of; she doesnt cost as much as some but you have to get one of those really nifty achievements to unlock her in the job candidate list!!
