Yes, pets. Come on, look at all the adorable stuff you guys have in here - Impostocubes, Snipes, assorted Gremlins that aren't those Darkfang Mender jerks...

C'mon, they don't even have to DO anything, just let us have a snipe, or an Impostocube, or something, that follows us around!

Seriously, if you put this in, my money will literally fly out of my pockets and launch itself at you at hyperspeed. Come on, Three Rings, make it happen. (I want a purple Snipe if you do. :) Maybe that little guy with the headband from the training hall.)

Pets as an addition to the game come up all the time, but I think this is the first thread that's suggested they be purely cosmetic from the get-go (which I'm in favour of if they're to be introduced at all - I've typed out my objections to gameplay-affecting pets too many times to ever want to do it again).

If there was like a giant field with tons of enemies Non-level) outside of the Clockworks/Haven, then they would be useful. As of now, nope.

no, nononononononono NO this is so utterly pointless its sickening. i dont want to party up with players tugging around the useless thing through the clockworks. if anything prevent the pets from coming out while in the clockworks

I want pets that are useful to exploration of the clockworks which help you through different abilities ive listed all the abilities i can think of on my discussion here http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/16264
But i came up with the same problem of people saying no to Attacking and healing abilities so i put done other abilities like Block, Collect etc
I also wrote about a job system but I really would like pets to become part of thee game

This pets page is killing my brain cells.

God pets will make this game have a ton of lag.

Yes, Pets are a definite good addition to the game if the developers create the right reason and the right mechanics.

They would become rich sense there are so many players in favor of pets and if those not favor of it like it, then money will be rolling and falling down their sleeves. :P

who knows if pets will ever be introduce? :(

by the way, i dont agree that pets should look like the monsters we have now. they should be a seperate entity with new forms and abilities.

I would like them as cosmetic items. I mean having, say, a chromalisk hanging from your shoulder with it's toungue cut off(jk) would be pretty epic.
