In my opinion, Spiral Knights is a wonderful game with a great team working behind it.
Apparently so do the players, since SK hit a million players not so long ago.
If you'd look at the forums though, you'd think this was the worst game in the world, with all the topics hating on OOO, it's decisions, bugfixes, and updates - which were asked for repeatedly before they were made >.>
So instead of more flames and punches at OOO, how about spreading a little love? I'm sure that OOO would like to hear something nice about their game, and I think the comments would help motivate them to work harder, on things for you - the players.
So whether you type a book, paragraph, sentence, or even just put +1, show OOO how much you appreciate them for making SpiralKnights.

this is honestly the best mmo ive ever played. i have hopped from one game to another within weeks of each other, yet i saw this and have been playing for months now. OOO has some things to work out, and i know that they will, but it could be hard seeing as they have so few working on this game as well as having other games to work on. OOO, keep doing what your doing and dont worry about the hate. those poeple dont know what they're taking for granted.

I know I sound hard on them in allot of posts, but that's just becuase I think they can do better, and I have a habbit of pointing out the bad things. Having high expectations isn't being bad, it's the biggest form of love :D Tough love. Certianly a +1 topic, and certianly the best mmo I've played.

Love the simplicity of it!
I love it! When I first saw the game being announced with the design shown, I know I'm gonna like it. Plus the sword/gun/bomb makes it more fun rather than most MMO's pletora of buttons for so many abilities... I'm a human with 2 hands; not an octopus! D: Keep it up OOO~ :D

I'll be honest. When I originally saw the banner for spiral knights, I wasn't interested.
And I wasn't interested the following few times either.
I don't remember why, but one day I just decided to give it a shot.
I'm glad I did too. This has got to be the BEST mmo I've ever played (I've played Cabal, City of Heroes, Mabinogi, y'know, whatever).
The art looks nice, the music sounds nice, the game is simple enough to not be overwhelming, and not too simple to be boring either - but that's just covering the bases. I'm glad I found this game, I've already spent $20 on it, and I'm really looking forward to what OOO can do.

Agreed, amazing game.
This game didn't have that big zest to grab people's attention immediately. The reason why I tried it was because it was an MMO type game and because it's free so why not?
After a few DAYS, I considered this game to be my number 1. Absolutely tremendous ideas packed into one game and the fun it has to it. Adding a small PvP type mini game to EARN better equipment, in my opinion, is the best endgame of the game so far.
Incredible game, I plan on sticking to it for awhile. Maybe even longer. I keep an eye on Three Rings and wish them luck in creating the future for this game, because the way I see it, it's going far beyond successful.

I've never been big on MMOs,
I've never been big on MMOs, save for Phantasy Star (which is hardly an MMO but more a dungeon-crawler type deal). I originally only tried Spiral Knights because my 360 was getting pants-on-head silly with the repetitive crap. And much to my surprise, I enjoy the hell out of it and all I really do is mostly go Clockwork diving with my friends.
The simple fact of it is - even if we do complain, we wouldn't be here if we didn't enjoy it as well.
So to the OOO staff, game masters and admins and everyone I might be missing, great job.

Yes.
I would say that for a game that's not even 6 months old, the developers have done fairly well with it thus far. I've observed the forums for a long while now, and while their community interaction and suggestion taking could improve a bit, I feel like they're solidly aware of this (among other things) and try to self-correct where possible.
That said, I think people are rather quick to jump on the rather small development team for each and every error they make. I don't always necessarily agree with the direction this game or its economy takes, but we should all take a step back sometimes that this game is still in a highly developmental stage right now, and may not even be remotely like what it is now in a few years (and yes, I feel the game can and will last that long). Give OOO a break, they'll fine-tune things eventually.
In the mean time, I'll still be playing and paying with my hard earned cash here and there. Because I can honestly say that despite all the ups and downs, I've gotten a great amount of enjoyment out of this game and really want to see it keep developing far into the future. Godspeed OOO.

Personally, I see Spiral Knights and I am absolutely amazed. I've never seen a company so in touch with the community, They try so hard to please the players, They keep us informed on updates, and update more often then any other game I know. I understand 'haters gunna hate' But seriously, Everything OOO does is strictly in the best interest for everyone, Its impossible to please everyone but they sure try there hardest to. Its an amazing world you created, You do a fantastic job maintaining it, and your staff of GMs is amazing, funny, and very helpful unlike so many other games I played. you do a fantastic job OOO, And You've captured my attention to this game, and I'm always very excited to see what you have planned for the future. Keep up the awesome work guys, You continue to impress me every day!

I signed up for this game as early as I could after its release, I remember wanting to play it since beta and preview, and when I did start playing I've never been happier with an MMO.
It's fun, the art is amazing, the music is superb, the play style is fantastic. I'm always excited for every update and I love when you guys make it more challenging. I hope you guys stay around for quite some time.

This is not true. I suggested a PVP-Mode similar to Bomberman. I like the BlastNetwork and enjoy it every day. It´s impossible for an company to make a MMORPG where everybody loves all things. OOORings made a really great game and i look forward to the future.

Its so much easier to write
Its so much easier to write and want to write about the bad stuff that you are experiencing with a game. You don't see threads like this often enough, but I'm glad there are. I mean who doesn't love bomberman, and for one aspect of the coming many pvp's to emulate that, so what? I for one have been enjoying it immensely.
In any situation (you see this in most aspects of your daily life) you're gonna see the complainers outweigh anything else, very few take the time to congratulate you when you're doing well, but you can definitely expect to hear everything you do wrong.
Keep it up OOO, I for one love 95% of what goes on here, the other 5% I post about :P

Bar none, best post idea to date. This game has given me hundreds of hours of enjoyment. Quite literally one of the funnest things I've found myself entrenched in. And through the multitude of people I've met in game I've come across a slew of very good friends. People that I enjoy taking time out of my day to talk to and play together with.

When I found Spiral Knights..
I was watching the stream of a Let's Player that I'm following, and at the end of his stream he booted up an MMO.
This MMO was called Spiral Knights.
It looked fairly interesting, so I volunteered to join him on his show-off tour of the game to the viewers. I joined him, and two other followers in a fantastic adventure through the first tier of the Clockworks. This was merely a week after the game's official release. I soon found myself hooked to the game and kept playing on a daily basis. I learned a lot, and I screwed myself, and my team-mates up a lot, but all in all I had a great time playing the game.
Today I am equipped mostly in five-star equipment, and I am still aiming to collect a lot of costumes that I think would look nifty on my character. I am always looking for good outfits, and this game opens up a lot of possibilities with its costume slots - a feature I long for in any game. I play actively and run a small guild for the forum I am active in, and I have helped my guildsmen enjoy the game alongside me. Only a few are active right now, but I try to make the most of it with those who play.
I have made a lot of friends in the game. We help each other out, teach each other new tips and tricks, and joke around. Spiral Knights has been a great break from the other MMOs I've played and I'm looking to be active for a long time before I abandon the game.
I want to thank Three Rings for making a great game for me and my friends, and hope that they will keep up the good work and take it to even greater heights.

Well playing-wise. The one and only complaint i would have is that the history/lore of the game isn't as centered as others.
But its an MMO so that doesnt matter :D
OMG I have been looking at Square-Enix and saying, "Why U no have good game for Nintendo console?" (i had DQ9 already and finished it)
So i played Portal2 and owned it and was playing with randoms in co-op. i told him i wanted a good F2P game he said Spiral Knights. i was like: Awuts taht.
He told me where to find it and ive been playing since June

When I first joined, I was like... "hey a cute pink cube... WHOA IT ATTACKED ME... *kill*.. mmm fun game, very cute."
When I learned how complex it could be, it was one of those moments I'll never forget. Discovering the gate map and waiting elevators, seeing all the monster types, realizing how many alchemy paths there were... just how deep such a game could be amazed me. Not to mention it's challenging and fun (even if a magnet for immature types) and the music is great. I hope Three Rings continues on their path of greatness.

This looks like just a good as place as any to post this. Especially since it's a ghost thread.
Ok, Other than telling OOO what a cool game this is, I'd also like to take the opportunity to apologise to the GM's for stuff I did that are probably not all that bad to them, but I fell pretty embarrassed about, things from my own stupidity from when I started out a few months ago.
GM's and other, Sorry for sending you all those bug reports on things that really, are supposed to happen but I just didn't know about. I KNOW I sent you guys at LEAST 3 reports about how my Wolver set was only giving me +1 health in T1, before realising a few weeks later it was because of the Teir depowering.
Also for sending that Request for help on a stage, cuz I realised a month or so ago, the guys who got help were those who glitched and couldn't do anything or something.
Pretty much just silly things that I ended up doing that wasted your time. However little or big it was.
So anyways, sorry about all that, and hope you guys keep making this great game better :D
EDIT: Anyone who truly appreciates all the work that went into this game should post here, Just so OOO knows that people are enjoying their creation.

This is definitly a good game; it is all around a great action RPG experience, especially for the price. There are plenty of flaws, but enough positives that it keeps me, an 11 year MMO player from UO, EQ, EQ2, WoW, Diablio I and II, RS, and countless other games, playing. When TERRA comes out I might leave, but I'll remember SK as one of the best, especially in the action RPG genre.

The only game I found more exciting than this had to be Gundam, and I finished the Omni vs Zaft version over 10 times. Hardcore gameplay, but limited understanding of the game and limited missions made it a quick game. Can clock it in under a month. Gameplay was the only thing that made it interesting, really.
This game can evolve, change, and re-create. Awesome style, and the opportunity to talk to real people. You have one mission, which can sidetrack you into other missions, which can lead to other things, and more and more etcetcetc!!
In short: SPIRAL KNIGHTS FTW!
Also: PEOPLE WHO MADE SPIRAL KNIGHTS FTW MORE!
EDIT: Hey guys, I saw an Impostocube on post 6. Should we kill it? Or should we sacrifice it to the ppl who created SK as a symbol of our appreciation?

Don't worry, it's pretty normal to have a small yet very vocal portion of your playerbase whine about every change.
These people are very much not an accurate representation of the opinions of the playerbase. They're just the loudest.
I love the game, I trust Three Rings is working at making a good game, and I don't regret giving them my money.
