it would be cool to have the monsters come to us and attack us and destroy haven we wouldn't have to waist our energy reviving ourselves it could be automatic revive who ever's with me post
monsters destroy haven and us
maybe the monsters come to haven and mess up the fountain, and the knights have to fix it
Red Dawn: that guard to the south has been killed, you are the only person to see this murder
*Acquired Guardsman's Blade, Guardsman's Helm, Guardsman's helm (4*)*
The gremlins have been covorting with the tall guys for some time now to destroy haven.
Out of the fountain comes A Knight, or so you think. actually it is a Knight that the gremlins have hacked
if you defeat it you get gremlin armor and helmet, and possibly A Flame Canister Gun (Tier 2)
Or a zombie comes out of the ground and hands out free 5* items and endless mist canisters so I can play the game for free.
Auto rev, no. Defeats purpose of using energy at all.

A possibly better idea...

You only get to spend less energy on revs if you spend less time falling over. Sorry about that. It's the only solution that is ever going to work.
As for monsters attacking Haven...it'd be cool to see some fights in a familiar "safe" environment, but it'd have to be A. N. Other Horde-a-like; Haven isn't a dungeon, it's not designed with a beginning and end point in mind, so what you're left with is a static arena defense level. Not to say it couldn't be good fun, but it'd have to be carefully throttled, perhaps even to the point of being functionally identical to Arenas (three or so staged metawaves with the option to duck out early between each one, at the cost of a reduced reward).
Also, how can this fit with established SK canon? Multiple parties can cruise identical-looking levels simultaneously because the Clockworks is in constant flux, and many identical dungeons can be moving around to drop into at a given time. Haven is instanced as a server-load necessity, but we're meant to accept that This Is The Town Where Everyone Is, which is why there are so many Knights running around in each instance. How do you explain a four-man party defending the same Town Square that a quick glance at your Social panel confirms your friends are currently idling in? The only solution I can think of offhand would be for this proposed invasion to take place in an abandoned or otherwise inaccessible part of Haven, which could still be pretty cool, but would, in my mind, be kind of less interesting than defending a familiar area.
maybe they come from the elevators we take to get back to haven and desend and end up at arcade or the gremlins in the bazzar betray us or the ones in arcade betray us think of that
There's a guard in front of Haven, right? Any reason why he's there? Not really, unless they were worried about an attack.
A boss Attack from the Town square would therefore fit in with the story there. I mean, you hit someone, they'll hit you back. Kill a couple of thousand of monsters, and they'l eventually get enough sense to attack you back, right?
what if gremlins get the guards think about it bosses coming to like vana and jelly king
The boss idea was in the link to the other thread I posted...It's about an idea that there could be a Haven server that can have a boss randomly attack it. Discussions on it have more or less ceased, so see what you can do with it.
I am in support of a minigame function in an arena style to have the haven area as a setting.
As for in game play not in a minigame?
No, imagine the terrible distraction something like that would provide for every knight in the town square minding their own business.
It's all and well you want randomized world events but imagine tabbing out and finding yourself dead for no apparent reason with a slew of monsters around you upon your return. And all you had wanted to do was check on a purchase. No thanks.
didn't anyone read my link? T-T
I suggested in there that there would be Boss Hazard Servers, that people would go to to take a shot at fighting a boss, should one even appear. I initially made it to reduce lag, but also it would help in keeping people going WTF!? Why am I dead!?
You are chilling in the arcade when suddenly 5 roarmulus turrets rise out of the clockworks and start firing. A bunch of gremlins appear at the gates. It's complete pandemonium! It's time to defend Haven! Join the cause! Stand against the threat! Do it for the skylark! Do it for the Order! Do it for the lulz! Equip a weapon and repeal the invaders! =D
You're screwed. Server become dead. all of you drop to your knees in the loss of honour. "I...I FAILED".........
aren't those spookats really cute?
can I have some of what your smoking?
