So guys, I was on a roadtrip with a bad computer and nothing to do, so I made this. I hope you all enjoy! :D
But before you start, this is the sequel: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/43970

Chapter One: Cradle and All

Vot was late, again. He missed the shuttle to the launch site. Thankfully he was able to take different one, since the whole area was bustling with activity because of the scheduled launch that day. His letter was labeled "Important: For Captain Kadin's Eyes Only" and he was directed to give it to the Captain himself. He ran through the twisting corridors of the shipyard, looking for the correct hallway. Finally he made it to the Skylark Mail Room. "Hey Vot," Vot's friend Kiri said, "do you need help getting into the ship?"
"Sure, but do you have any idea where the captain is?"
"He's up in the bridge, do you have a letter for him?"
"Yeah, here can you give it to him when you see him?"
"Sure." Vot handed her the letter and Kiri left. Kiri was so lucky, she was an offical knight of the Spiral Order. They have been defending the planet Spiral for millions of cycles. Vot really wanted to join the Spiral Engineer Corps, but his application hadn't been accepted yet, and possibliy would never be. I mean, he wasn't terrible at building things, he was actually pretty good. It's just that sometimes, maybe even most of the time, his creations would either try to kill him, or backfire and nearly kill him. As he ran back his messaging post next to the Engineer Corp building (that required some pulled strings) he felt a letter fall out of his pouch. Went he turned to pick it up he saw the same "Important: For Captain Kadin's Eyes Only" as before. The letter had fallen out of the envelope. He read it quickly and began to fully understand the importance of the message that he was supposed to deliver. It went like this:

Dear Captain Kadin,
We had recently discovered a flaw in the plating of the core reactor. For the safety of the crew of your ship, the Skylark, we advise that you postpone your launch until we can correct the problem. Your ship is still able to fly, but the core's gases would build up and explode unless the error can be corrected.

Sincerly,
Corporal Damen
Head Engineer

The low rumbling of lift engines was heard as Vot sprinted back towards the Skylark.

As Vot came into the mailroom, a knight was starting to close the doors leading on-ship. When he called out, Vot showed the letter to him, hoping it would be enough to let him on. The knight side-stepped away from the door, and Vot kept going. He was getting tired by then, and could hardly think straight. Was it two lefts and a right, or two rights and a left? When he got to the emergency escape pods, he saw a map. He was at the back of the ship, as far away as possible from the bridge. He felt a strong lurch and fell into an escape pod. The hatch snapped shut behind him. He turned away in time to see his planet slowly shrink away, and then disappear.
He had failed.

The hatch to Vot's escape pod popped open, two figures were peering into it, blocking out the light that was blinding Vot. "What is this?" One of the Knights asked, "Is he dead?"
Vot replied with "Who are you?"
"A good question to ask you." The other Knight said.
"Do you have enough room for us in there?" The younger one asked, "Because I really don't want to be stuck on the Skylark when she hits the planet."
"What?" Vot asked.
"The core melted, and we're plumeting towards a planet, which hopefully can support life." The older one replied angrly, "Of course, I'm just happy to have a planet to crash on. But still, it isn't my favorite way to start my day."
The ship lurched, and a huge explosion ripped through her, knocking everyone off their feet. The two Knights scrambled into the pod as the entire thing tilted over. The older one hit the launch button as sirens blared and lights flashed. Vot again looked out of the porthole. This time he saw a planet free of cities, of spaceports or of trash.
But free of life?

The pod hammered into the ground, creating
a large crator in which the knights were strewn about. Vot was the first to come around, and began waking up the others. The older one had turned out to be called Kort, and the younger one was called Sly. Kort was decked out in full Cobalt Armor, with a Brandish and a Stun Gun, while Sly had an Autogun, a Pith Helm, and a Spiral Brigadine. Kort started rummaging through some equipment crates and was able to find some basic equipment and a proto sword. A comm unit in there pod flickered to life."Matqa to all pods, rendezvous at camp near the canyon. I'll try to get the location on your HUD's map." The line went dead, then started back up, "I think there are some hostile animals out there, so watch your back. Matqa out!"
The group of Knights packed their supplies and started out towards the point on their minimap, when they came across a strange building. In it they found a panel with a dashboard covered with buttons.
Before they did anything too stupid, Kort took a picture of the strange thing. Out of no where the grate opened and a platform rose up with a few strange figures on it. They were kind of dog-like, but were humanoid, and one was carrying an axe and the other one was holding supplies. Both parties jumped back in shock of each other. The axe wielding one charged at Kort, which was a huge mistake. Any swipes were blocked by his shield and the animal was despatched of quickly. The other one pressed a key sequence and dropped into the ground. The Knights ran up to the edge of the elevator and peered in.
It stretched for miles.

When they reached the rescue camp, a group of pods surrounding a campfire, Lieutenant Matqa filled them in on the main happenings of the Knight's situation. They had found a small city enhabited by a race of large humanoid robed slug-like creatures called the Strangers. The Order was setting up a base in the city, called Haven. They had also learned from the Strangers that the planet, called Cradle, was supported by a huge underground labrynth of tunnels and platforms. These clockworks supposedly lead to a core of unimaginable power. The order had already sent a team to investigate.
Vot spent a few weeks at the camp before heading to Haven. Everything that had happened was a lot to take in at once.
Those dog-like creatures turned out to be called Gremlins, and supposedly created these clockworks, and maintain it currently. They, along with pretty much every other creature out the planet were bent on killing anything that went below the surface.
Vot was called by Kort to come to Haven as soon as possible on behalf of "Urgent Matters".

It turns out that Kort was being assigned to a "Special Mission", and was ordered to take a few knights along. Both Sly and surprisingly Kiri were also chosen. Kiri was Kort's training partner back on Spiral, and they became good friends. Their mission required skill, and cunning, or at least that is what they told Vot. All the other details were going to be discussed on "Briefing Day". All the knights were feeling anxious about what was to come. Vot felt like he didn't belong, that he wasn't a knight.
The band gathered outside of the Order HQ in Haven. The door opened and they were ushered in by a knight who brought them to a small room. First they were giving better weapons and armor, then they were seated. "Good morning," an important looking knight said, "and welcome to the Briefing Room. We have gotten info from our sources that the Gremlins are making a secret weapon, and we need you to hinder or stop their operation, at all costs. If you fail, this new weapon will destroy us. All of your brothers and sisters in arms, killed. Failure isn't an option. Do you understand?" They all mumbled their answer. "Then I think you need to meet your allies."
Three Gremlins entered the room. All of the knights were surprised by the entrance, and Kort even drew his sword in defence.
"You will need all of these Gremlins alive." The important knight said. "It looks like you'll get along just fine."
The real quest had just begun.

As they travelled to their first stop, Emberlight, they were attacked by a huge mob of constructs. Only one of the Gremlins was a warrior, his name was Soro. The others were called Vakros and Plavise. The knights made quick work of the first few, but Soro took his time, only deactivating them and throwing them to the menders. After they were despatched of, the knights looked back to see that they had been flanked, and the Gremlins were leading a smaller force towards them. "I knew we couldn't trust them." Sly said seriously, which was strange because he was usually pretty light-hearted. The robots got closer and closer. They all nodded to each other and charged. Most of the bots were busted before they heard an ear-spliting yowl that forced them to drop their weapons. The cause was Plavise, who was fuming with the other Gremlins.
"How stupid are you freaking knights?!" She yelled.
"Those were our allies!" Vakros joined in.
"Now everyone, just calm down," Soro started, "the knights were oviously too stupid to understand that what they were doing was wrong."
"Ummm... sorry." Kiri replied, "But what just happened? Weren't they our enemies?
"No you moron, not after we fixed them!" Vakros snapped, "Are you really so stupid that you didn't know that bots are one of the easiest things to reprogram!"
"Yes, we are that stupid!" Kort yelled back, "Why would we know that? It's not like you'd ever tell us!"
Vot stayed silent just in case he said anything too stupid, but he hated the whole argument.
"You know that this is going to help, nothing!" Sly yelled, "We're wasting time! Once we finish this stupid freaking argument whatever we are stopping will have killed half the knights!
Everyone looked kind of embarassed as they kept going, with a single Scuttlebot following.

"How do you kill this thing?!" Kort yelled as he was knocked across the platform.
"You have to hit its crystal!" Plavise replied.
The group had became more of a team after the argument, and were only one level away from Emberlight, with the elevator in sight. A Trojan Knightmare was in between that elevator and them though, and was proving to be quite difficult to destroy, even with the number of fighters they had with them. Kiri dived right under the monster, and started hacking at its crystal, while Vot tried to get its attention. It turned to face Kiri, and Vot charged it, thrusting his blade deep into its soul. The monster slowly froze, turned into stone, its eyes lifeless.
The band ran for the elevator, excited for their next challenge.

They arrived just in time to see a Crimson Order Gremlin dragging away a knight, with all of his comrades dead. They ran towards the elevator they were in, but it left before they got close. They turned towards the fallen warriors. With them was the important knight. Vot ran to his side, and the knight whispered three words with such a hatred and fear, that it sent shivers down Vot's back.
The Chimera Project.

Getting into the Grand Colony was no problem, since Plavise's uncle was a higher offical in the politics of the Gremlins. The knights had to wait outside the city though, and Vakros felt a bit vulnerable without them. He was easily able to get in to some deeper medical groups because of his expertise in medical work, but still hadn't heard of this "Chimera Project" thing. But then one day when he was passing an important Doctor's office he heard something that caused him to stop in his tracks... "Yeah...Chimera...Room 27...top sercret...security code...1, 4, 9, 4." Vakros memorized it, then messaged Soro it in code.
It was time to venture into Room 27 and finish it.

Vot and the others were camping in an abandoned wolver den when they got the message from Soro. Everyone had a job in the final step of their mission. Vakros would find where they were holding the project, then Plavise would take out the automated defence and Soro would take out any organic guards. The Knights would creep in with the two Gremlins making sure that they wouldn't be caught. Vakros would open the room from the inside. Then Kort would clear the room, and Vot would plant the bombs. Sly and Kiri would cover their escape. After the bombs went off, they would meet up at the wolver den. Of course, thats if everything went perfectly.

Everything didn't go perfectly, although things could be worse. Kort broke his leg on the way to the outer walls, and Kiri had to bring him back to the den, so they were down two Knights. Vot was in the lab with Vakros right next to him, they were both staring at a vat on the opposite side of the room. In it was a mix-matched creation of several monsters, one of them a Knight, that same knight from before. This was messed up. Vot wondered whether he could really take the life of that knight, that poor knight. That thing wasn't a knight anymore, and even if it was, the knight inside would be long dead. Or would it? While he tried to convince himself that he could kill the thing, Vakros was trying to convince himself that his race couldn't be that evil. Then there was a loud bang and the door blew open and several Gremlins charged in. Vakros ran forward and yelled to Vot, "I'll buy you some time, just plant the freaking bombs!" Vot ran forward and planted a bomb, but was grabbed by some Darkfangs who threw him against a canister. All Vot was able to do before being smothered was pressing the detonate button on his controller.
At least they would go out with a bang.

Vakros hurt all over. He, Soro, and Vot were stuffed in a tiny cell. Vot had ask earlier where Sly and Plavise were. Soro said that they didn't make it. It was all over. They won, but at a serious cost. At least Kort and Kiri would make it out. As they thought, they heard an alarm and some loud noises. A grate above them popped open and Kiri's head popped in. "We're gonna bust you out." Everyone smiled.
"But how did you find us?" Soro asked.
Vot's face became red even before she said it, "I have a chip in Vot's bum." More smiles. A couple more loud crashes rang out. "Listen, that criple isn't going to last forever. The prisoners were lifted out. Vot was pulled out right before the cell door crashed open and some Gremlins poured in.
The band ran for their life.

It was done. The Chimera Project was ended, and although sadly, only a Knight and a Gremlin lost their lives in the process. Vot felt bad for the poor knight who had to be killed...
But the Chimera felt bad for nobody.

So guys, I feel like I have to give some credit to some others. If any of you guys haven't checked out "The Clockwork Renegades" do so now. It's really awesome, and it where I got some characters. Also, what did you think? If anybody wants to submit any characters (Vot's going to need some good allies, or enemies in future stories.) Please do so in the below format:

Thank for being awesome in advance! :D

Chapter Two: The Next Mission

Vot and Kiri were heading back to Spiral HQ.

When they entered the briefing room the new important knight came forward. It was Kort. Or Lieutant Kort, who had received an award for bravery along with Vot, Kiri, Soro, and Vakros. "We seemed to have proved helpful to the Order, considering they've given us a new mission. I'm sad to say that I won't be joining you, but there's a fairly large group of people that you should meet. Also, as always, good luck. You’re going to need it.”

They walked into another room, with a couple of knights sitting on a bench. Vot saw something that caught his eye.
"Frost! I didn't know you were on the Skylark too!"

"Yeah, but I defiantly didn't think that you were! Wait, are you even a knight?"

"Yep." Vot had got his application accepted after getting his badge.

"Here," Kort said, "We'll talk about the good old days after I brief you. After our knights began attacking a treacherous palace owned by the undead King Vanaduke, our spies are reporting that a large army of dead soldiers and Trojans has amassed outside of one of our most important outposts. We have an ancient text that was found in Moorcraft Manor, telling of a wolver den, in which mysterious ‘Werewolvers’ hid a powerful weapon called the Vanabane. If this text is correct, this weapon is the key to holding back Vanaduke’s armies. The text gave clue to where it is hidden, but most of it is in Wolver writing. We believe that even today’s Wolvers can read this, and we are trying to get a few to cooperate, which is hard.”
“How do you know that the Wolvers can read this writing?” Kiri asked.
“We have no clue, but we can only hope that ether they can, or you can somehow find a Werewolver. Again, best of luck. I’m sorry to say that I can join you, although we all know that I wouldn’t be much help with only one leg.” Kort sat down and took off his mechanized leg. “See you later, if any of you survive that is.

As they traveled to their first objective, Moorcraft (they would meet up with a scholar working there) they learned a bit about their new allies, and Vot and Frost shared many a good story. The other knight was a scientist, who had joined to study these “Werewolvers”. The trip was relatively easy, as they were all skilled fighters, especially now that they had the two new knights with them. The other new knight was called Kantint, and was a skilled bomber who could hide anywhere. The other knight was Vot’s old buddy Frost, who Vot had nearly killed when he was testing a new weapon (he mixed a Calibration Mod up with a Mod Calibrator). Frost was reckless, but he could back himself up with skill, as he had a lot. They seemed to be fighting a lot more of Vanaduke’s monsters than usual, they knew that this was because they were amassing their forces in a tier one treasure vault, and would spring up into the outpost through the elevators, bypassing any defense.
The Knights’ only hope was the Vanabane.

When the knights entered Moorcraft, they saw that Vanaduke’s Trojans had broken in. A small group of knights and Spookats were guarding a door. They wouldn’t hold out for much longer. The band of Knights realized that the Trojans crystals were exposed to them. Frost charged in and dealt with two before the others even got there. A Trojan, looking just… better turned towards him. He raised a sword that was again, just… better than the others’ swords and pounded Frost back into a bookshelf. “You guys hold these things off of him, I’m going to find out what’s behind that door.”
“Okay,” Kiri said, “But make it quick, I don’t know how long until they get reinforcements!”
Vot charged forward dodged a few blows, then took out a Trojan and dove over some barricades that the other knight set up.
He entered the next room, and saw something that can only be described as “strange”.

Blue was looking around for the sudden change of volume, and was able to make out one of these “knughts” or whatever they’re called. He door was wide open, and see could see that outside the door there a battle that was raging. I wonder if it’s Wolvers, come to save the others and me? A Trojan went flying and slammed the just closed doors right open, sending the knught who walked in flying on his face, dashing all of the poor Skolver. The knught guy got up, and looked around, a bit dazed by the fall. Another knught came forward and helped him up. They went and started talking to the three, and last one of those stupid knughts in the room. This went on for a while, until they took that book of the shelf. The EVIL book. And they were heading straight for her! What did she do to deserve this? As it got nearer, She heard strange whisperings. Then muffled mumbling. But this time it got louder and LOUDER! She yelped in surprise and stumbled back. Then words were formed, words that were in a weird accent. This had never happened before. Then true words, sentences were flung at her. “The time of great suffering has come. There is only one to prevent it. You must aid this knight." "Wait, they’re called knights?" Blue wondered to herself.
"The knight is true of heart, he will prove it to you in the coming time. You must guide him to the Den of Zos’vakish. There you will find what he needs." What all of Cradle needs!”

Are the Chimera based off of Resistance? Or is it based off the meaning of chimera, in biological terms?

A pretty good story

It was interesting. It seemed to go a little too fast for my tastes though, it could just be me. but other than that it was fine. I'm going to assume that this will have some relation with the story of the RP, so try to reconstruct some events that lead up to events in the RP. Just don't take too much control of the story. try also to get the consent of the other roleplayers before using their characters.

Oh and Frostrex, read about the "Chimera" in The Clockwork Renegades thread ;)

Feel free to make use of my character from the RP thread Isisdelltion

Name: Rultaos

Race: Trojan

Equipment: A Gremlin-made great sword and a standard-issue scarlet shield. Wears tier 1 Trojan armor

Abilities: Unlike most others, he can control the strength he puts into his attacks making them slightly quicker. He is a natural leader and thinks better than most other Trojans who believe in strength before intelligence. Every fresh kill he gets adds to his strength, depending on how powerful the fallen enemy was.

Bio: Sculptured for battle rather than more civil purposes; Rultaos was considered a cut above the regular warrior. Although they did not have many quarrels with the other subterranean creatures, conflict was sometimes deemed necessary by their leader Lord Vanaduke, last of the Royal Almirian throne. He was not old enough to be alive during the golden age of the empire, but he had heard many tales about it.

For a time, they had only fought against small rebellions within Firestorm Citadel, and sometimes assisted the Great Colony. Rultaos' actions in the suppression of one uprising against King Tinkinzar and the Crimson Order had earned him the specially crafted great sword. It was sharper and harder than the standard issue weapons of Firestorm Citadel military and would not dull as easily. Still, he takes great care to maintain the weapon.

When the Spiral knights first landed on Cradle and gained the friendship of the Strangers, all out war was declared by every civilization within The Clockworks. Rultaos was assigned to the frontlines along with other ill-equipped Trojans while the more skilled ones remained in lower levels and seldom came up to assist them. Luckily, the knights weren't very knowledgeable and therefore rarely targeted the life-giving crystals behind them. This gave Rultaos and his forces the upper hand as it allowed them to study the combat style of their foes.

Unfortunately, few Trojans paid attention to this and just focused on killing as many as possible. Soon though, the knights learned more about their kind and became a formidable enemy. The constant attacks at Candlestick Keep and neighboring positions had made Rultaos and his men battle-worn and he knew that they would soon be forced to pull back.

Personality: He is very serious and jokes rarely which discourages others from befriending him. But he is devoted to both his allies and friends should you become one of them. He thinks practically and rarely takes his own safety into consideration when he's on a mission making others think him a cold and machine-like thinker. But he will always try to ensure the safety of everyone, trying to make sure that they never fall into more harm then they have to.

Facts: Takes a keen interest with Gremlins ever since his history with them. (This is him before The Clockwork Renegades so I suppose you could make him an antagonist if you want)

Storyline Improvements: *Mentioned above

New Sections

I'm going to make every new section a new post so that people can know when a new section comes out, also I've taken all of your improvements to heart and will...
1.Make Blue lead them somewhere
2.Make chapters longer and have some more reader/character bonding time. Sorry about all the skipping in the first one, I was kind of rushed, and I wanted to get it up before the end of the holidays. Don't worry, I have another roadtrip coming up! :)
3.Keep on trying to connect this to "The Clockwork Renegades" so if you still haven't checked it out, do so now!

Also, I have some questions, is Qwex awkward, or just a little bit nerdy. Atgatg, I made Blue so that she cannot talk to knights, as you never didn't imply that she couldn't in your app, but there will be a time later in the story in which Blue will be able to choose if she wants to be a Werewolver, because yes, they do exist. Just tell me if you want, or don't want to do it. Also... NEW SECTION! :D

“And so, as I said before, the only clues about this Vanabane, is that we are to trust a Skolver, which is right in front of us, and to go to some den called Zos’something, and talk to a Werewolver there who probably already dead. Our chances of survival are pretty low on this one.” Hermlin, the aroggant scholar they were supposed to meet, finished.
“But how is this Skolver going to guide us if she’s in a cage?” Vot countered, “If she can’t walk, she can’t go to the den.”
“No!” Hermlin said quickly, with a bit of fear. “These animals are very dangerous.”
“So is Vanaduke!” Vot replied. “Quickly, we must go before we are overrun.”
“My knights are doing just fine, I mean, I would love to see yours doing better.”
The door exploded open, again. This time it was a knight lying on the ground. Luckily, It wasn’t any of the band’s knights, actually all of the band members were up and fighting, even Frostrex. Unlike them, all of the other knights were out cold. Vot gave a smile to Hermlin, who was looking very pale. A Knightmare advanced on the poor knight, but Vot raced in dodging some tables and bookshelves. He slid just in time to block the Knightmare’s smashing blow. He heard his shield crunch, but he couldn’t pay attention to that, and he quickly shrugged of his crushed Defender, jumping to the behemoth’s back. He slashed open It’s crystal, and many souls poured out of it. Vot hopped off the monster’s back just before it turned to stone and crumbled, and turned to face the other knight off the ground. “What’s your name?” He asked.
“Qwerty… umm I mean uh Qwex. Uh, yeah thanks, a bunch.”
Awkward smile of humility.

Sorry about that, I had most of that top stuff something completely different, then didn't edit over when I changed it. So, will Blue be a Werewolver? Pretty much the only difference would be that she can talk to other species and have the ability to stand upright. :D It's up to you of course.

Yet another new section, or sections

And what about a Skolver that can talk?

Frost was getting tired, and even though he had already took eight Trojans, a few of them being Knightmares, they just kept coming. Just as he slashed open the crystal of his ninth Scarlet Fortress Guard, Vot dashed out, jumping and weaving through the stone heads of their enemies. When he got to Frost he said “Get into the lab, were going out the other side.”
“We’re retreating?” Frost asked as they battled, back to back, fending off all that Vanaduke’s elite had to offer.
“I like to call it ‘strategic withdrawal’.” Vot then dashed over to Kantint and started talking to him. Frost rolled out from under a Trojan’s blow, which was much faster than usual. He looked up to see that Trojan, the one that knocked him senseless. It was on. All around Frost things slowed down. He lunged at the bewildered Trojan, just about to hop right over him and make that crucial strike, when something surprised Frost. The Trojan lifted his shield with such speed that it astonished Frost so much that he didn’t avert his course. Into the shield. Ouch.
He got up though, and picked up his weapon. “The hatred I bear to you I will save for another time. One on one.”
“Then I will wait,” the Trojan answered “but hurry to your friends, they are calling for you.”
Then everything sped up and the two warriors saluted each other, and left.

Vot this getting impatient, Frost needed to hurry, not talk to their enemies until the entire freaking door collapsed. Frostrex trotted in like he had won some great self-battle, and asked the others, “So what are going to do?”
“Barricade the doors, then get out through the other side.” Frost looked back, and saw a small door. Vot noticed the size when he looked back, and asked Hermlin, “How are we going to get al the wolvers out there?”
“We aren’t,” the sniveling scholar replied. “We’ll bring the important stuff like the Skolver, and the book.”
Vot couldn’t stand this so-called “Dr. Hermlin” guy. He kind of wished that they weren’t to have to listen to him talk about how amazing he is on the way to this den. He brought out all the stuff, or a little bit of the stuff, then told the knights to go outside. They walked out into the gloomy outside of the Manor, with Vot in the back. He turned to wait for Hermlin, and saw that the opposite door was just about to be busted open, and quickly shouted, “Herm, watch out!”
“I would wish to be addressed by my complete and very esteemed name, Herm…” He was crushed beneath the weight of around twenty Trojans as they stormed into the room, knocking thing over and crushing cages and vials of many different sorts. Vot slammed the door behind him, and the band once again ran for their life.

NEW SECTIONS! YAY!

Oh, sorry Faronel, I should of cleared this up alittle. Kantint was hiding inside of a Trojan the entire last couple of sections. I'm a bit confused at why they didn't notice that one of their allies was spewing out Big Angry Bombs and Electron Vortexs, either they had horrible eyesight, or that their comrade just usually sneezed out bombs. Also NEW SECTIONS! YAY! :D

The group was sitting around a campfire, with Kiri playing old Spiralian war tunes. It was kind of a sad moment for all of them. Hermlin, although he probably wasn’t a friend to any of them, was gone, and possibly any chance of their race’s survival went with him. Vot looked over their tiny band. Frost was trying to start a conversation with Qwex, and Qwex was doing everything in his power to stop it from starting. “So guys,” Vot began, motioning towards Kantint and Qwex. “I never really got to know your stories, your backgrounds. Who are you guys? I mean, I know that you,” he said, pointing towards Kantint. “Can hide inside of a Trojan, and judging on what you have your hands,” He pointed to Qwex, who was holding a tablet like thing. “Are good with computers. But I can only guess at the number of other things you are good at.” In Vot’s eyes, having a teammate you can trust is as important, if not more, than having a teammate who can slice through a Trojan.
“Well uh, I don’t have much to say. I mean, I’m just another knight, or even less so. I kinda suck at the whole fighting thing. The only thing that I’m even relatively good at is tech work. I mean, do you know how embarrassing it is to get demoted? To get scorned of because you got beat up by a dummy?”
“Yep,” Vot answered, “Especially when the dummy that you made tries to kill one of the most important Spiral Engineer.” Qwex looked up bewildered, and saw that the knight was completely serious. Vot started to chuckle and soon the entire band was laughing under their breath.
“I’m just a scientist.” Kantint said when the laughter died down and Vot looked at him.
“I can see very clearly that you are most defiantly not telling the truth.” Kiri said and stopped playing her instrument. “What, did something bad happen?”
“I lost my family pretty early in life, back on Spiral. Jill the Shredder they called her. Well, other than that I got shipped off on a spaceship, which proceeded to explode and crash on a distant planet.” For an unexplainable reason, Vot’s face became red. “I then got sent on a highly secretive mission to save all of the knights found on this planet, and possibly discover a new type of monster. How could I resist?”
“Well,” Vot said. “That was most certainly interesting. But more importantly, I think we owe this Skolver something.”

Vanaduke knew that something was wrong. He could almost smell it. A Slag Guard sprinted to him. “Sir, I have a report from the expedition to Moorcraft. It reads that our force captured the Manor, but at the loss of our Knightmares. Rultoas is requesting for backup.”
“Does it say anything about anyone escaping?” The Almirian king boomed.
“Yes my liege, it states here that five knights escaped with a cage, but Rultoas has sent three of his best men to find them. Five knights couldn’t stand a chance against three Trojans.”
“NOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Vanaduke shouted, scaring and nearly knocking over the poor slag guard. “Hanaphs, send a letter to Rultoas immediately telling him to get those knights at all costs, without Knightmares!” (I put another little connection to the Renegades there Faronel.)
“Of course sir!” The Slag Guard said, then quick ran away.
Vanadukes doom had been foretold by an ancient Gremlin by the name of Zaj. “By the hand of five knights shall you fall…” At first, Vanaduke thought that they meant the knights of Almire, but now there was a race that literally called themselves knights! The prophecy continued, “A cage will be their weapon, one that can kill even the most powerful of kings. To succeed, they will need a skilled worker, one of your own allies.” This could only be the Gremlins, as they were not only extremely hardworking, but also had good relations with Vanaduke’s forces. “Then, one knight will have the choice to defeat you, and vanquish you forever!” The undead king knew that this weapon must never be used.
“Drall,” He said to a nearby Slag Walker, “bring me the Saringul.”

Blue watched as one of those knights started towards her. I don’t really care anymore. She thought to herself as the knight started working on the lock of her cage. Months of solitary confinement can leave you like that. Blue had lost her purpose. Then she heard a clink, the sound of a door being slowly opened. The knight knelt in front of her and called, “Here girl!”
His mistake.
Vot never even knew that wolvers could roar. He hurt in every part of his body, and several parts of his armor were torn up. “Ugh, that could have been the stupidest thing that I’ve ever done.”
“Its okay, we were able to put her back into the cage” Frost said with a groan, as several parts of his armor were torn up too.
“There I think she should stay.” Kiri said, her armor showed big scratch mark lines.
“No,” Vot said, “We just need to gain her trust. I hope.” A new pain cut down his left side.
“If we can’t get her to lead us to that den thing, then we’ll have no chance against Vanaduke.”
“Yeah,” Kiri said, “I know your right, but what happens if she doesn’t ever trust us, I mean, what if Hamlin did something horrible to her or something?”
“He didn’t do anything like that,” Qwex popped in “She’ll hopefully like us eventually.”
“If we die none of that matters. What will we do if those Trojans find us in this condition though?” Kantint asked
“We’ll find out right about now.” A deep voice said from behind them.

Vot needs to stop getting

Vot needs to stop getting own. Seriously.

EDIT:Isis, is it alright if I write(lol)a kinda prequel to this story? It'll be based around a few months before the lift-off of the Skylark where Vot and Frost are doing the weapon testing and they get called to an emergency invasion that was covered up after it happened. It will feature other characters of course(Apps!)and I'll try not to break Vot's character. But I need you to approve.

Yeah

Sure Frost :D just make sure it stays with the story. (Vot not being part of the Engineer Corps and stuff like that. Also, be sure to have Kiri in there somewhere, 'cause she was (and still is) Vot's best friend. Also I'll try to get a new section up by the end of today! And yes, Vot really does need to stop getting owned.

NEW SECTIONS! YAY!

New road trip coming up next weekend! Expect nothing for awhile, then ALOT! Or nothing. :D

The group rushed out of their sleeping bags and came to face their enemies. Three Trojans stood before them, looking down on the knights with contempt. “You should have killed me while you could!” Frost said as he sprinted towards one of the statues of death. Frost was able to surprise him, but the monster turned quickly to guard it’s back.
“These ones are a bit better than the others,” Frost cried out. “I can hardly hit them!”
Out of nowhere a bomb flew out of the surrounding shrubbery nailing a Trojan straight in the face.
“Hole in one!” A shout came out of the bush. Kantint jumped out of the way just before the now half blind Trojan crushed it beneath his sword.
Kiri and Vot were taking care of the last one, while Quex helped Frost deal with his.
One of the Trojans, the one with half a head that is, stumbled into Blue’s cage.

Blue could hear a huge amount of noise outside. She felt it all around her, the clanking and the clanging. The huffing and wheezing. But a new thing had entered her senses, something new and strange.
"You must trust me, as I am one of your own kind." She jumped at that, her lips bared back in a snarl. "You’ll soon be free, but you must use this as a chance to gain the knight’s trust. You need them and they need you. Do it for Cradle." The disturbance disappeared. A Trojan fell right in front of her, crushing half of her cage. If she wasn’t in this stupid cage she would of jumped to the Ashen Stars and back. But she now wasn’t in the cage. There was an opening! She ran and scooted out. The scene had changed since the first Trojan had been dealt with. The knights had pushed the remaining Trojans back, and the monsters were fight bravely.
"Should I just run away?" She wondered.
"NO! I thought you were smart! HELP THEM! Gain their trust!"
"Okay!" she yipped, “You don’t have to be like that to get me to do something.” She trotted right behind the Trojan closest to her.

Vot muttered, “What in the Order’s name…” As a Trojan randomly fell to it’s death. The other looked towards his fallen comrade, which gave Qwex enough time to get behind him. Vot had to give it to him, the young knight was adapting well to the environment. He looked back to the other fallen Trojan, and noticed Blue was standing on it.
“WHAT?” Frost yelled, also realizing Blue (Qwex had confirmed the name for the Skolver) was the cause of the behemoth's downfall.
“Looks like somebody just became the newest band member.” Vot said. Frost looked at him strangely (with one of those WHAT? looks, I can't semm to get it perfectly so I challenge you to post your favorite one).
“Well band member or not, we don’t have a cage for the little bugger.”

NEW STUFF!

This is your last section before I'm away, so see you all later! I expect great things from all of you! And new people! BYE! :D

Blue was leading them into Gremlin territory, much to the discomfort of Vot. Every time he hacked through one of the little monsters he wondered if perhaps it was a friend of one of his Gremlin companions. But, this also meant that there was a lot of scrap metal around, so Vot wasn’t so bored during the off hours. Of course, neither was Qwex, as those off hours were usually him trying to figure out how to unlock the impossible codes keeping the doors closed.
“Good luck with that one.” Frost said as he looked upon the rows and ROWS of binary code on Qwex’s tablet.
“Thanks, but this one is pretty easy. I…”
Frost was already turning to the others. “By the time we get through here Vanaduke will have killed everybody!”
“Wait!” Qwex shouted triumphantly, “I got the mastercode!”
“So, no more waiting?” The others quickly said, standing up.
“Yep!” A few shouts of joy rang through the small band, since they’ve been waiting a whole day for this “easy” one. But happiest of all was Qwex.

The ground around them was wet and spongy. And Blue could tell that they were so close. “You are right, little one. Your friends are nearly upon my doorstep.” This voice was becoming REALLY annoying. “I know, but how else would you find the correct way down the cliff, or known where the hidden chasm was? As I have said time and time again…”
“We need each other to survive. Yeah, but could you just shutup? PLEASE?”
“No.”
Blue was about to send a cutting remark back to him about his mother, but paused when she sensed something strange was close. It was somehow familiar, but she couldn’t quite remember why. She stopped in her tracks. The knights instantly stopped. Ever since Frost nearly fell off a cliff they have stayed very close to Blue. “I could lead them right off a cliff if I wanted to.” She thought. But she knew that she couldn’t do that. Even through she would NEVER say it, the Skolver kind of liked them, even if it was only a tiny bit.
“Hey uh, Whateveryournameis?”
“Terroi.”
“Yeah, Terroi, can you leave for a sec, I’m trying to figure out who someone is and you’re, ummm, kinda in the way.”
“Yes, of course.”
Terroi was still there.
“Seriously, get out.” Nothing. But he was definitely still there.
Suddenly, another wolver stepped into the clearing. The knights pulled out their weapons, but hesitated, wonder what this thing was.
“Hello Blue.” The Alpha yelped, “I’ve been waiting quite awhile to finally meet you.”

Again BU-BYE! See you in four days! Or five! I hope to have the beginnings of a new chapter soon!

Hi again! I'm back!

JUST KIDDING!
I totally didn't get you! But on to a less serious note...
I've decided to organize the new chapter for you guys! YAY!

Chapter Two: Vanaduke's Revenge

The other knight was a scientist/bomber named Kantint, who had joined to study these “Werewolvers”. The trip was relatively easy, as they were all skilled fighters, especially now that they had the two new knights with them. The knight who’s named was Frostrex was Vot’s old buddy, who Vot had nearly killed when he was testing a new weapon (he mixed a Calibration Mod up with a Mod Calibrator).

You must aid this knight (wait, they’re called knights?). The knight is true of heart, and he will prove it to you in the coming time. You must guide him to the Den of Zos’vakish. There you will find what he needs. What all of Cradle needs!”

“And so, as I said before, the only clues about this Vanabane, is that we are to trust a Skolver, which is right in front of us, and to go to some den called Zos’something, and talk to a Werewolver there who probably already dead. Our chances of survival are pretty low on this one.” Hermlin finished.

Frost was getting tired, and even though he had already took eight Trojans, a few of them being Knightmares, but they just kept coming.

“I would wish to be addressed by my complete and very esteemed name, Herm…” He was crushed beneath the weight of around twenty Trojans as they stormed into the room, knocking things over and crushing cages and vials of many different sorts. Vot slammed the door behind him, and the band once again ran for their life.

Kiri and Vot were taking care of the last one, while Qwex helped Frost deal with his.
One of the Trojans, the one with half a head that is, stumbled into Blue’s cage.

Blue could hear a huge amount of noise outside. She felt it all around her, the clanking and the clanging. The huffing and wheezing. But a new thing had entered her senses, something new and strange.
You must trust me, as I am one of your own kind. She jumped at that, her lips bared back in a snarl. You’ll soon be free, but you must use this as a chance to gain the knight’s trust. You need them and they need you. Do it for Cradle. The disturbance disappeared. Should I just run away? She wondered. NO! I thought you were smart! HELP THEM! Gain their trust! “Okay!” she yipped, “You don’t have to be like that to get me to do something.” She trotted right behind the Trojan closest to her.
“WHAT?” Frost yelled, also realizing Blue (Qwex had confirmed the name for the Skolver).
“Looks like somebody just became the newest band member.” Vot said.
“Well band member or not, we don’t have a cage for the little bugger.”

That's it. So far! BYE GUYS!

Back from ROADTRIP!

Hey guys, I'm back from the ROADTRIP! I got the end of the second chapter RIGHT here. But before I address that, I talk about apps. You're ALL accepted, but you're characters may be changed a bit. I like Faste though. He'll be in the next chapter. But here's the second one.

"The Werewolvers were an ancient race, one that could remember the days of Owlites, Almirians, Luminarians (Check out Lordofnecromanster's awesome short-stories, seriously, it's important) and many of the other races of Cradle. They were at first a large group of disconnected packs, each led by an Alpha. But two great Alphas rose up, more powerful than the rest. A strong and brave Ashfur called Vog, and his wise and patient mate Frostifur called Skolva banded their clans together. They then fought and beat each pack, one after another. So they were the rulers of all Werewolvers, as time went on Vog and Skolva died peacefully, their offspring, the Vog-cubs and Skolvers ruling all Wolvers for several centuries. Supposedly Vog and Skolva gained immortality and became gods. But time passed, the Owlites were killed of by an evil army know only as the Grim, who forced them back to Candlestick Keep and then killed them off, one by one. Almire had fallen to the Allied Empire, and then fell back to to its deranged king. And greatest allies, the Luminarians had been murdered by their own creation. As all these empires fell apart it seemed like only a few factions were still in power. The Jelly King still held his throne although he was sometime challenged by his sister the Ice Queen, and the Gremlins had formed together into serious threat under the rule of King Tinkinzar. The Werewolvers seemed to be following the other empires' example, and they started to argue with each other. They again split into several packs, staking out dens in the Clockworks. Again, there were two packs that were stronger than the rest, but they never had leaders of the same level of power and wisdom. Only these two packs retained the same abilities held by the Werewolvers of old. The rest lost the ability to speak, write, or stand on their hind legs."
"So what about our current mission?" Vot replied to the Skolver walking next to him.
"Well, we have extensive knowledge of the subject of Vanaduke, as Almire was a major threat before and after he became a monster. About this Vanabane subject, we know its location, but any Werewolver who traveled there never returned."
"Then I'm sure that we can help out." Frost said, drawing an imagining sword and cutting up an imaginary enemy, then blocking several air weapons. Terroi looked at him with amusement unhidden on his face.
"Save those blows for what awaits us."

"Here we are, The Crypts of Zos." Vot said beside them. He didn't quite know why here knew it, but it was in his mind. He wondered if it was a good thing or not. The doorway to the Crypts of Zos was covered completely in cobwebs, and it took a few sword swipes to in open the way. The Knights and Skolvers continued into the depths of the old halls of some kind of...
"Hey, Terroi." Vot asked the Skolver.
"What?"
"What is this place?"
"It used to be King Vog's fortress, but became his tomb after his death. We know only of this place from ancient books, as all Wolvers sent to this forsaken place never came back."
"So this is like a temple of Vog?"
"Yep." They came to a giant spiral staircase. (Haha, get it... spiral) As they descended the torches became spaced further and further apart, making little pockets of darkness. These pockets became huge, and by the time they reached the bottom torches were about a couple hundred feet apart. They continued down the long halls, they were surprised by the lack of enemies, or traps, yet the abundance of wolver skeletons littering the floors. Vot could feel that they were nearing their destination, again by some kind of inward force.
They entered a large room. The floor was covered in ashes, and the room was completely empty except for a single black obsidian figure. It was kind of like a Gunpuppy, but bigger, and obviously not mechanical in any way.

"Hello, and welcome to Vogzosholm Crypts." The band, both Knights and Wolvers, cringed at the entry to their minds. Blue seemed the least affected and answered,
"Hello, great Vog, leader of all Wolvers."
"Well met little one. I hope that all of you understand why I have spared you to this point."
"To be truthful, I have no idea why." Kantint answered.
"Honesty is a prize worth many treasures." He boomed through their minds, making it feel as though Vot and others' brains were shuddering in fear. "Although Vanaduke has never been against us before, probably for the sole reason that he didn't know that we existed, he is about to do something that would disrupt the perfect balance of Cradle, wreaking the planet I have tried so hard to maintain. But I have the one thing that rended him all powerful, the one weapon that could bring him down."
"The Vanabane." They all thought at once.
"Its true name is Voguralaetvuralavana, but that is a mouthful."
"But where is it? Our time is running out!"
"Look beneath you." All that they found were ashes, still warm to the touch. "Under the ash."
Kiri started to brush away at the piles, the rest just watched her until she yelled. "Come on! These stupid things aren't going to dig themselves!"
The hole got deeper and deeper until they heard the thud of Frost's sword striking something hard. They eagerly cleared away until they could see what was there. The second Vot laid eyes upon the Vanabane, all of the ashes drained away, leaving their real floor.
It was a crystal. A giant crystal.

The crystal itself was strange. It was jet black, with jagged glowing purple lines running out from the statue, pulsing outwards at regular intervals.
"This is one the three crystals of Zos. They contain great power, but are nearly impossible to control. A long time ago, Cradle's balance was again challenged. Two kingdoms joined together and wiped out Almire. To balance it back, I gave Vanaduke the power of immortality as well as a new form."
"So his power came from the crystal?" Qwex asked.
"Yes, and although he'll forever be the same giant strong monster leading a force of deadly minions, his immortality can be changed if the crystal is destroyed."
"Do you think it would be enough to halt his attack?"
"Yes, he is extremely timid. If there is even a chance that he could be killed, he'd never take the chance."
"So we just have to destroy this crystal?"
"The power will have be transferred to another. One of you must volunteer." They all looked at each other. Vot was about to step forward. But before he could another knight came up to the pedestal.
"So, you have made up your mind."
"Yes." Kiri replied, "I'm ready."
The ashes rose up to her, clouding her, blocking her from view. They heard her gurgling yells as it choked her. Frost charged forward to help her, but Terroi held him back. The ashes started to glow, brighter by every second. They were all blinded, looking away and shielding their eyes.
They looked and saw something that astounded them.

Kiri didn't understand why they were all looking at her. She felt absolutely fine. "What’s wrong?"
Everyone looked blankly at her. It was getting kind of annoying. Kantint finally stepped up to her.
"Look here." He said, holding up a shield.
She was a Wolver.
A Vog Cub to be exact.
"I tried to keep you from turning into too much of a monster, and I also made you mortal. I'm sorry, but even if you can transfer the energy of Zos to another, your new form can't be changed. In return for your sacrifices, I have many gifts for you. First, Kiri, you have made the biggest loss in this trip, so you deserve the best gift. This is Vonhad, the true fang of Vog." It was a small blade, very thin. But the second it was burped out of the ashes and Kiri touched it, the blade burst into jet-black flames. "This next one is for Vot, it is called Severin, the shield that defended Hyre the Owlite in the Odfin Wars." It was like the Crest of Almire, but with a small Owlite figure, made out of pure Luminite, instead of the Almirian markings. "This is for Kantint. It is named Yakerish." It was a bomb that looked like the Spine Cone, but with shards of Zos crystals lining it. "This for Frost. It is Blizzardhale, the sword of the ancient warrior knight Frostrex, whom you are named after." Its blade was like ice. Its hilt was studded with light blue jewels. "And for you Qwex, I have something extra special for you. This is Firewall, the great shield that Mac the Smart used at the Gates of Bill." It was made of a smooth grey material, and had a fancy touch screen on the inside. "But I think all of these gifts are feeble compared to Blue's." The Skolver looked towards in a puzzled manner. "Little one, step forward." Blue jumped up to the figure. As with Kiri, ashes rushed up from the floor, engulfing her. The knights were again blinded. But this time, Blue's appearance hadn't changed at all. "I have given you the trick of speech. There is a tiny mechanical transmitter device in your throat. As long as it stays there, you can speak both the language of Wolvers and Knights. I must leave you now, because, as you know, Cradle is never completely at balance. Goodbye and good luck to all of you!"
The ashes quickly reseeded into the floor cracks, leaving the band standing in silence.

"Yes, once we break through their defenses here and here, Klyde can move his Slag Guards into position around the keep. Then Raeg can send his force of Trojans to storm the place. After Kome is under control we can march to Haven and shatter the Order without the chance of being flanked." By now Vanaduke had stopped listening to the complete attack plans, but at the words "shatter the Order" he perked up.
"Yes Krutager, those plans will do. But we have to make sure that..." He stopped there. Something was wrong. He felt slightly vulnerable. Then his body and mind cracked. Snapped. He fell to the floor, writhing in pain. "NOOOO!" He heard something jump into his head, and start talking.
"Yes, it has been done. It is over. You have outweighed the balance of Cradle, and have used your powers to do so. Don't worry, you're not going to die tomorrow, not for a while. But charging into Haven, which holds the largest collection of Knights on Cradle, is probably not your best bet. Your favor with me, and your immortality, has ended."
"NOO! Vog! Please spare me!" Vog was gone.
"What is of the matter my lord?" Vanaduke noticed that all of his Officers were looking at him, bewildered.
"The campaign is over. We must return to Firestorm."
"But my lord?" A Trojan asked.
"Okay, Tunnk, you and your men can attack alone." It was suicide. "Does anyone want to join him?"
Silence.

The knights and Werewolvers were walking out of the Crypts. Nobody talked, as everyone didn't know what to say, even Blue, who had SO much to share with the band, but knew it wasn't the best time. They neared an elevator, which was half over grown with vines and moss. "This elevator can get you anywhere on Cradle. It was built by both the Gremlins and the Owlites during the Kradish Treaty." Terroi was about to start going into the subject, but stopped himself.
"Should we go to Kome, just make sure that Vanaduke isn't attacking?" Kantint asked.
"Yes, I'll go there with you." They all stepped on the platform, and Terroi hit a few buttons. The elevator flew into the depths of the Clockworks.
"Kiri, what are we going to do?" Vot finally was brave enough to ask.
"I don't know." She said, "I don't think I'll be able to stay at Haven, as Vog Cub coats are much easier to make when there's a Vog Cub in front of you."
"Yeah, but where else can you go?"
"You can come and live with my pack." Everyone looked at Terroi.
"But I'm a Vog Cub and you're a Skolver."
"We have several other Vog Cubs living with us. I'm sure you'll love it. And what about you Blue? Why don't you join us?"
"I'm sorry, but I will eventually need someone to maintain my eyes and uh, you know, mouth."
Terroi could see right through this little excuse, but said nothing, as he saw that Blue would be happier adventuring with the knights then settling down in a den.
The elevator arrived in Kome as Trojans stormed over the walls.

Rultaos had been debriefed right after he got to the clearing outside the crypts. Tunnk and him were supposed to take over Kome. He found an elevator close by, and got a couple of Gremlins to try to set it to the outpost. In the first group he took nine Trojans and a Gremlin with him. They rose out of the ground in time to see Tunnk's force of Knightmares bashing through the Knights' defenses. There were a few knights rushing out of barracks and buildings, trying to repel the invaders. And those knights from Moorcraft. "They were here the whole time?" He thought, angry with himself. "Trojans, form up and attack. Hult and Forwain, you come with me against these ones, but don't attack that one." He said, pointing to Frost. "He's mine."
Vot looked back at the sound of a rising elevator. "More are coming around back!" He yelled, and the band turned to face the Trojans. All the band members were there, except for Kantint, who was nowhere to be found. That was answered soon, when they saw a Gremlin fly over the Trojans' heads, causing them to look up. Kantint then ran right through their ranks, and all the Trojans tried to lift their swords at once. This resulted in a bunch of them falling over.
When he got to them he said, "They aren't going to use that elevator anymore."
"What?" Terroi asked. A giant explosion answered him.

It was on. Frost and Rultaos stepped up to each other. Rultaos had to give it to the young knight, taking on a Trojan took guts, but alone? He didn't stand a chance. They circled each other, Frost looking for a way to get to Rultaos's back. They parried a few of each other's blades, and then Frost rushed in, hoping to catch the Trojan by surprise. Rultaos blocked the move easily, but Frost surprised him by coming right back in. Frost channeled his energy into a few quick swipes, pushing the Trojan back. Rultaos knew what was coming and jumped back, leaving Frost vulnerable. But the knight turned and blocked the huge Gremlin blade with his shield, knocking him back. Frost jumped back with a blow that would crush anything but a Trojan. But Rultaos was in fact a Trojan. They continued fighting, neither of them gaining the upper hand. But Frost was tiring, and Rultaos wasn't. Rultaos saw that Frost was starting to make mistakes, small ones that wouldn't cause any harm. Rultaos decided that he should use a move that he wasn't to fond of, as it was very risky. But if it was done perfectly, then it would knock Frost completely off his balance, and force him to surrender. As he began the move he saw a minuet difference in Frost's approach. But it was too late to stop. Frost instantly blocked the move, and then moved in and knocked Rultaos off balance in the exact way the Trojan was aiming to do in his move. Before he knew it both Rultaos's sword and shield were on the ground, and Frost was holding his sword up to his back. "You spared me once, and I'll never forget that. So in return, I'll spare you."
"Then we'll walk away as peers." The Trojan responded.
"Yes, peers."
"You have earned my respect." They turn to each other, and shook hands.

"Why was Frost always so late?" Vot asked Kiri beside him.
"I dunno, maybe we're just always early." The two, Wolver and Knight, were fighting side by side, holding the line with the others. Again Frost trotted over like he had won some great self battle, stabbing every Trojan he came across.
"They're retreating!" An officer called out. The other knights were fighting Tunnk's men across the field.
"Hey, uh guys!" Vot yelled over. "A little help!"
"There's only nine of them!" An annoying knight called over.
"You can have one all to yourself if you want!" That shut him up. A few more knights came over, and it was obvious that Rultaos's forces were being pushed back to the elevator. As they stepped on it, the floor began to creak, then it completely fell apart and the Trojans plummeted into the depths of the Clockworks.

"So, I guess this is goodbye." Frost said.
"Yeah." Kiri murmured
"I'll miss you." Vot said.
"I'll miss you guys too."
"See you."
"Yeah, send letters and stuff."
"Bye."
She and Terroi walked off, and she looked back and waved.
"I'm gonna miss her."
"Yeah, me too." They turned to see Blue.

YAY! Two whole chapters!
Before Chapter Three I'm going to put the story of Mac the Smart and the Gates of Bill here so that I have time to get new character apps.
I want you to try to find which character in this story is going to match up with the characters from the real story. Good luck! (Kiri and Kort are included)
