Well, now I see that there is a slight possibility that I cannot make it in time, or at all for the prr selections. It is a personal problem, dont ask. But Ive talked with Magnus and.. he can do them instead. It is up to him how will he will do them, but it is the same place, haven 4 right end of the arcade, time would be 8:30 AM EST, 30 minutes after the reboot, since that is my limiit for showing up. I might show up later, after that, or not at all. You guys go up there at 8:10 in case I might come. Even then it is likely that I will have to go to lunch during the pre selrctions, but that wont take longer than 20 minutes. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience but it cannot be put aside.

Looks like I could make it. I have lunch now and I should be able to come in time if nothing gets in the way.

This competition is just so lame, i got called dull for having Divine set with Divine vertical vents, Dusky wolver tail, Dusky pipe, Ghostly aura. Got told to wait and take a step back but then the judge forgot about me and 3 others so we joined him and he put us over to magnus. The stupid thing is that when i asked for any other judge to judge me they said no. I asked because i was arguing with magnus and comparing his ego to chris's earlier but they said that it was too bad. That meant Magnus obviously rejected me.

So many ppl each round kept joining and some even got through like my friend got rejected the 1st round and joined the 2nd round and got put through by the same judge.

Altogether i think this is a pretty big "fail" of a fasion competition. They said they don't accept wolvers but there was 1 wolver that kept getting put through.

Things started off good, but the event got a bit rough as it progressed and went through to the end. I think everyone got really confused as to who was hosting and who wasn't part of the staff, and it all went downhill from there as those who were rejected weren't told why in most cases, leading to the groups of people sneaking into the line, trying to ruin the event, etc.

The worst part was probably forcing people to leave their own guild, as Darkbrady mentioned. But I understand you guys were really challenged bandwidth wise by then and weren't able to come up with many options.

I'm not a fan of some of the rules and execution, but all in all, kudos for pushing and trying do the best you could! Congrats to the winners.

I hope none of those comments were directed at me. I was a little upset after my costume was rejected, so I asked for the opinions of some other spectators who were waiting for the show to start. I didn't stand in the line at all, and I left when the guild thing was started.

However, there should have been a bit more prep-work for such large-scale situations, such as warning of the guild possibility.

What was the grand prize? Can we see the winning outfit?

@Tersakoff - Whoa, chill amigo. I'm trying to offer constructive criticism here to help you guys improve in the future - whether you want to take it or not is totally up to you. : )

I didn't go to the event to compete, so no need to go insulting my prismatic gear either. I wanted to see how you guys hosted your event, and be there to help offer solutions to problems if they arose. While you guys were off managing your crowd in the French haven, I was giving out free crowns to the people you had just rejected, and trying to convince them not to go spam and make things more chaotic for you.

Believe me, I know exactly how difficult it is to manage a massive crowd of people all speaking at the same time. It's super-stressful, and the tells fly past your screen faster than trade chat. As this was one of your first big events, it's understandable that you had to make the best call you could to resolve the situation. I disagree with the guild stuff, but that's just my own take on it. I hope that you'll respect my opinion in the same way I respect your opinion to disallow wolver gear in the event.

I'm happy to chat with you to provide alternatives in the future, so that it's easier on both you and the competitors. There are always ways to make something work - it just takes some planning, and in most cases, really good event staff to back you up!

I found the event to be a fun waste of a few hours. I had dropped by not expecting to be entered, then told I'm in. Was rather funny.

@Guyinshinyarmour I took that cap from the video I made. Any of the screencaps made from that are at a slightly lower quality but it gave me freedom to go back and pick an exact moment to capture. Like a time photographer! I figured "Guyinshinyarmour" should have his shiny armor showing off.
