@Hikaru-San I just choose not to do those, especially when it asked for my Final Flourish. I mean, those knights can get along fine without my Final Flourish (ASI Med and Med Dmg Bonus to Fiends). They're getting enough gear as it is.

Also, if you don't do those particular missions than you can still do well. I haven't done that one mostly, and I have roughly 9000 prestige.

But really, since you will get a new prestige mission everyday whether you have done older ones or not, I wouldn't even give a 2* weapon if I didn't have an extra I didn't need.

as in "you can buy the expansion, but whats the point if you are only going to play it once" or "you can play MMORPG's, but what's the point of continuing if you are just going to complain about every little optional thing."

I do them just because I like having more prestige than everyone else. Not really sure why anyone else does them, though, and I may stop anyway now that I can say I turned in a friggin Nitronome for 300 prestige.

OOO may not be forcing us, but it is indeed teasing by saying there will be rewards with people with "X amount" of prestige. So, if tomorrow decided to give all players with 10k prestige a prize as some people should have by doing all the daily missions, and it was an exclusive event weapon, would you not rage? You would, I am sure of it 100% that most of you would. Inb4 typical "i wouldn't care" person.

The truth is that what was a supposed materials/crown sink has turned again into an energy sink, and the only excuse that makes Supply Depot exist. "Oh, I have a mission which requires a 5* and I don't possibly can put 2 hours into the game today even if I do have the CE required to make it... so I will just buy it from Supply Depot. There, I am so happy to spend double the amount of CE, haha." But hey, Expansion Missions were supposed to be bought with energy, so I suppose I should shut up.

Also, lore wise: Why would training troops require 5* weapons from us? I can understand materials and minerals for research, supply packs for troops... but a 5* weapons for green troops who get captured every time? Is Spiral HQ intelligent? ...Because that doesn't seem so at all. Why not just change the missions to a 3* max requirement? This way we could think that we are giving it to soldiers below tier 3, which would be what in Mission Mode the "tutorial" seems to end, even if when tier 3 missions give us a ride again to see the changes in mobs.

The worst part is that Three Rings IS conscious of it and INCREASED the rewards for the missions with weapons as a requirement, so OOO indeed favors this and most likely won't do anything. Which means our rage is ignored 120%.

I am not attacking anyone with this, so please, be critical but don't attack. OP also didn't, and as much as we all hate raging he/she wasn't attacking anyone, and I don't think he/she is overreacting, he/she is giving a honest opinion about what he/she thinks is an unfair feature. -It would annoy me for sure, just like missing out on wings annoyed me. However, I understand that I may be missing out on things by not completing every prestige mission. If you want to be sure you won't miss out on anything like what you just described, then you have to be willing to do what's necessary.

Do you want to make sure you get all the prestige just in case of a prestige event? Or is it not worth it to you? This is a decision you have to make. Maybe OOO is "teasing," but if you can't resist then you must realize it is your decision whether or not to buy that item and do that mission. OOO is not "forcing" anything, you are not going to be set behind or anything, you'll just be missing something. You're either okay with that, or you're not.
If prestige items turn out to be cosmetic things like costumes, I personally would be fine with missing those. If they turn out to be things like uber-powered items, that's just bad, and I'll have issues with that. Before anyone screams it's the apocalypse, though, we'll just have to wait and see.

Where do i sign up to receive the welfare weapon handouts of this program.

Thinking about it, these knights in trouble must have to fill in some forms to ask for these weapons.

seems like a good deal to me, sit around and wait for a good weapon to be handed to me,

Maybe they should make the item icons like 5 times bigger, its a rather big area to show a tiny icon...
yea, the icons are not utilizing the space allocated to them.
The start button is big, so the item icons should be bigger too.

draw some new icons that is at least 4 times the size

Show a bigger icon and name, and if it has equipments , they should highlight its row in yellow

if you have more then one copy of the item in your inventory,
An intermediate warning window could pop up after pressing start to allow you to choose which one you bear to part with,
along with all attached accessories and UVs

add another layer of warning window after pressing start for donating weapons, that says something like
ARE YOU REALLY GONNA GIVE US THIS TREASURE?
Display a big googly eyed knight in specs.
then display the HUGE icon, name, accessories and UVs before the yes/no button

Please note that there should not be an option to "not display these warnings in future"

The amount of prestige given could also do well to have 1 or 2 more zeros added to the back.

Followed by a game wide announcement like
"ALL HAIL XXXX FOR GENEROUSLY SUPPORTING THE FALLEN KNIGHTS REHAB PROGRAM"
(instant gratification is very empowering to gamers)

as well as a 24hr 1.5x heat and gold bonus, stackable with the heat bonus item(amounting to a 3x heat)

We could bring it even further by playing an announcement to all party members whenever that player joins the party.
Something like:
"THE GRAND PHILANTHROPIST (of the day) XXXX GRACES YOUR PITIFUL PARTY WITH HIS NOBLE PRESENCE"
Party members could gain a 1.25 heat and gold bonus, again stackable with the heat bonus item.
This party bonus will not be extended to another philanthropist nor is it stakable with another philanthropist's party bonus.

IT would be even better if you could also give THE GRAND PHILANTHROPIST (of the day) a colored aura with colored ethereal wings, that fade in and out of visibility.
(tier 3 could have 6 golden/prismatic wings)
(tier 2 could have 4 white wings)
(tier 1 could have 2 grey wings)
These auras could be circles that raise from the floor upwards slowly fading out, to be distinct from accessories.
The wingspan of the wings have be the height of 2.5 knights, end to end, to be distinct and extend the wing accessories.

But lastly, Philanthropist like to see their contributions actually making a difference to their target charity.
I also suggest a Level, or a mission, that evolves with the contribution points of the last month.
The scenario of the level could be a skirmish level,
Like a big battle between hundreds of gremlins and hundreds of NPC knights.
I was going to also suggest storm the camp(castle, village, etc) but that would be too similar to the expansion lvl.

So the level is a battle and you just happen to arrive in time for the start of the battle.
Some one else suggested a clockworks lockdown, i really like that idea, and that could come here.
If not, then the level would just be a big square patch of land with some terrain details.
A chess board themed land would be cool too, like in Through the looking glass.

The gate to the next level would only unlock when one side is defeated.
The amount of contributions from the past month would decide the amount of NPC knights holding those contribution weapons.
if the public has been miserly, then there would be more NPC knights fighting in proto gear.

The NPC Knights should also be constantly saying things every time they kill/or be killed by a gremlin

Very tragic, dramatic, and Shakespearean woeful wails and goodbyes to the cruel world and how they would have survived if their gear had been better.

I am writing this because OP is raging over lost birzzbrand (SIC, i am crediting the OP for spelling error, but in actual fact i have no idea how to spell this nor do i have any idea what this is, i gun and run). Also i thought that it should be a really huge deal to be giving fully leveled weapons.

Please excuse the horrible structure of my post. School assignments are drowning me.
