ummmmm this is ment to be a private board, its not meant for recruitment, and did I not link the public board?
Its not like we can make a private forum in guild hall or something, I mean even just to send the mail to all our current members was a chore as I had to copy them all down and mail them individually.
and also I was hoping I wouldn't have to play this card BUT you are supposed to stick to the topic of the strings and as the topic IS the guild of lock down aces and chat from us the case could be made that by posting on this board while not obeying the rules clearly stated in the original post, aka being a member you are violating the forum rules, so please stop posting here.

Like Trying said, you may want to set up a website of your own for your guild. There are many free sites out there.
Try not to get upset when other people post in here. It will never end.
Additionally, the players who use this forum don't want to read all the drama and personal communications you and your guild have in a thread on the general board.

I am not saying you guys have been very respectful but are you saying I would get less problems on the board actually MEANT for noobs and those actually looking for other guilds?
This is not a board for knights to join us, this is a board for us to DISCUSS GENERAL items amongst ourselves, and do you think I would go through the trouble of titling this private if I thought I could force people to stay off of here? not to mention deliberately post the link to a board where others MAY post at will?
Are some of you saying I should use spiral knights to get people to sign up for off site websites?
Not sure how the lawyers would feel about that though it is an interesting idea that you could try, or have you? in which case you advertising other sites by means of their systems may be something they could find very interesting indeed, especially now that they are merged with sega.

Spiral Knights (and those who run it) have no issue with you hosting a website, forum, blog, ect.. for your guild on a non three rings domain. They may even visit your site and make comments. The creators of SK use twitter and facebook for all kinds of in-game events themselves.
Many guilds do it. It's the norm on the internet for guilds/tribes/clans/what-have-you to have a place (which you can control via security settings) for the members of a guild to communicate outside of whatever game is being played.
The recruitment forum is in use as a wider spectrum for just recruiting in ones guild.
Consider it.

These are the SK forums, pretty everyone can post on your "private" board whether they're a member of Aces or not (like me o3o)
Yes, you DID put PRIVATE, but do you seriously think that's gonna deter non-Aces from posting?
I can understand your reasons for not putting it in guild recruitment, but just raging at everyone because they're telling you to move doesn't really look all that good for you, you know?
Again, like multiple people and I have mentioned, if you want for there to be an actual private board for Aces, go find some off-site forums or boards or something, idk.

ah hi guys, glad you could make it, also anyone happen to be carrying some everfrost I could add to my materials stock? I haven't checked AH for prices recently but I think they were valued at about 1,200 crowns, So since it is just stock and not actually ment to be part of the profit margin I think that is what I would buy them at if you have some, I have 2 but think 5 is a better stock number and should eventually find some cheap ones or in the clock works that will serve for profit.
Oh also if you need just about any other materials I do have at least 2 of all useable materials except the shadow and gremlin boss mats.

However you do like playing games and having fun.... pieispie?
oh also they took stun off magic hood line! yay! now I don't have to worry about trying shields other then jelly so much, I always relied on that to cancel out the stun attacks, did work pretty well to since most stun causing attacks are slow enough you can get a shield up... except for fiends chucking tvs at you of course.... also it means in frost bite my hood won't make me extra weak to snow balls if I have to go striker

also anyone know why phantoms end is the only guild that faces us on any sort of a regular bases?
Do we have contacts over there or something? I don't quite understand how other guilds can get those high scores, I mean I don't find it weird or something that another guild would be good at lock down, just how do they manage to find that many matches to play?

The purpose of posting on a public forum is to make a thread where all members of the forum are to participate. Unfortunately whenever someone posts in a thread, it is brought to the top of the message board. This means that your thread is going to clutter up the Spiral Knights General board and be seen by all forum members every single time some one posts in it. For these reason no one before you have even considered creating a thread.

up to post 9, no body has broken the rules, we are discussing the topic of you having or wanting a 'private' board in general discussion. The rule of staying on topic, does not mean your topic is granted wide sweeping powers to implement extra rules in your thread. Your topic is "Lockdown Aces' PRIVATE board" and any statement that is discussing the fact that you want this board to be private is in fact on topic. People are questioning the validity of the content of your topic or suggesting ways for you to achieve what you clearly want. That is relevant to the topic and (at least in my opinion) satisfy the rules of staying on topic.

The truth of the matter is that this plan was never going to work. People politely and respectfully let you know that by making much funnies in this thread. If you wanted a private board for your guild you needed to make a private board for your guild (as you now realize, and are attempting to do).
People could have just as easily let you know in a condescending, insulting, and rude manner. But instead, we have chosen to make light-hearted mock of the thread, and turn a bad plan into a humorous jaunt down node# 48146 lane.
Plus, there has been absolutely no malice whatsoever in this thread, except maybe for your subtle requests (out of malice) that the admins "[deal] with" the rest of us. Which they have, they chose to deal with us by not doing anything, because they know that to have a private guild thread constantly updated on the main page of GENERAL DISCUSSION forum is an absurd premise.
But just to reiterate, none of us here meant you any harm, disrespect, or ill-intent. We did have a little fun at your expense, but it was light-hearted and cheeky, NOT evil and full of malice.

PvP is ruined by OOO overpowering one side and making LD UV + rich oriented. PvE is a carrot on a stick dangled infront of our heads with shadow keys. Both PvP and PvE are pretty pathetic.
