Stealth missions.

"Hazardous heist". Mission to STEAL info from gremlin terminal. And all we do is just rush and kill all gremlins. Kinda boring... And here we go:
My idea is to add some stealth elements to these levels. Something like...

If u get spotted, treasures will block and some monsters will spawn/activate.
That is a simplified example. Lots of interesting levels can be created using stealth elements.
Thread is kinda raw...so any suggestions/thoughts/pics r welcome.

FIRST UPDATE.

later will make level example with all explanations.... Also will make some lockhack minigame. If failed hacking it YA will activate.

I was thinking bout this ever since i had tred lockdown, and than i saw a vid of gremlins doing that exact thing in the expansion missions. If they can do it outside of Lockdown, why shouldnt we?

Grab tresures --> track back and raise alarm to kill enemies and get more money.
This should be prevented with some party buttons/gates or removing drops from gremlins.

U mean Recon Cloak ? Sorry but this thread is not about RC . Its about evading spotlights and hiding behind blocks.

Neverplayed. Really. I prefer Thief series.
And, of course, this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5jZEVtz6uU&feature=relmfu from 1:55 to 2:20

Thanx for ideas. Implemented. Btw should i add body hiding, or its too complicated?

Yes to stealth, no to body hiding.
It's not so much as to complications (I mean there are gremlin bodies in T3; you can just pick them up like you would jars) but it'd seem a little unnecessary.
The level design itself may need a bit of work; as Juances said this can be rather exploitable. But I suppose there should be a choice for players - either raise the alarm and fight for the reward, or use their smarts and get the same (if not marginally better) reward for less hassle, but with more skill required - oh, and less health lost.
This mechanic would be excellent prior to miniboss fights or tough party button onslaughts.

yes..... YES... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like your second one, and if you get spotted, you have to kill a lot of gremlins in a certain amount of time and escape.

They could add this as a bonus floor after you beat Seerus with extensive mazes. There would be an elevator on the right side of the throne room leading to the stealth bonus mission where you get more reward for having more health and avoiding combat.

@ Kentard
Yeh bodyhiding = bad idea. Doesnt fit.
About trigger and fight or sneak.... There will be alot of Trolly guys who will trigger alarm while you try to sneak through. There should be ONLY sneak or lose your money.
@ Lugu
U just somehow induced idea in mah head. Stealth points ( gain them successfully sneaking around) ----> exchange stealth points for money/heat.
Great job! Keep posting something.
p.s. Solid snake.....is that a peeeenuuus? Just kiddeh...

Yeh thanx fo your attention Lug. I kno whos Snake.
Might be cool. We already know there must be some kind of directional watching code included. Right now, you can sneak up behind a Gun Puppy and it won't notice for quite some time, but if you walk in front of it, it will attack from quite a distance.
Naturally, this idea tickles my fancy as a potential Class Missions scenario, but it could definitely work on its own I think.
+1 to this concept being fleshed out more.
