OK. I realized why I can't make a fanfic (Edit: actually I made one now.). I have a short attention span. Sooo, I decided to make a bunch of short stories. Not too much work for one story, but not so little that I quit. I'll try to add a new one as often as I can. And, If anyone else wants to add their short story, (I know some of you out there spend a lot of time making those for fun) feel free to do so.

A Snow Wolver
By: Artistbma
Sam couldn't believe it. To join the Star-Stealers guild, he had to go through a test. Sam figured, "Why not just go through with it?" But then he was told what he would have to do. He had to kill a snow wolver!
Sam defeatedly agreed to do it.
"Aye, come follow me," his instructor, Daren, said.
Sam followed Daren down a long corridor. They stepped onto an elevator. Then, suddenly, it dropped. Sam felt it lurch from side to side before it stopped. Both Sam and Daren stepped off of it.
Daren waved his hand, telling Sam to keep with him. The sky slowly got lighter, the air cooler, and snow appeared on the ground. Before he knew it, Sam was in a frosty world. He grabbed his Fireburst Brandish and held it close for warmth. Daren helped him kill the Ice Jelly Cubes that lurked around, waiting to strike weary travelers.
They walked through the depth. Sam thought it was going pretty good, but he still had to find that snow wolver. The two kept on going and eventually found a wolver nest.
Sam excitedly announced, "We're close!"
Daren nodded his head and motioned to stay quiet. Sam looked beyond his instructor and saw a small snow wolver, sleeping in a corner. He got his sword ready. Sam and Daren crept along the side of the wall.
"Ok, from now on, you're on your own. I can't help you fight the wolver. You must kill it yourself," Daren whispered.
Sam continued sneaking along the wall until he was within a yard from the wolver. Then he ran towards it, Fireburst Brandish raised. The wolver just barely caught a glimpse of Sam before he swung. Luckily for the wolver, it jumped away in time. But it wasn't over yet.
The wolver pounced on Sam, tearing up his new cobalt armor with its powerful, icy claws. Sam swung his sword again. And again. Another time. He kept missing. The wolver was too fast. Sam came up with a plan.
He was going to trip the wolver and then kill it. This time, when the wolver pounced, Sam lifted up his leg and SMACK. The wolver knocked right into him. It was dazed for a moment and Sam attacked. He drilled his Fireburst into the wolver's stomach and watched it bleed to death.
"Daren! I defeated it!" Sam cried.
Daren walked over to where Sam was standing.
"Good Job, lad."
Daren continued, "Guess you are one of us now. Prepare to steal stars!"

When You Wake Up on the Wrong Foot
By: Artistbma
Gregory stumbled out of his sleeping pod. He tripped on his radio transmitter and fell flat on the floor. He remembered he had left it there last night. Greg pulled himself back up and continued outside.
He saw his best friend sitting in front of the Auction House.
"Hi Greg!" his friend exclaimed once he noticed him. "Wonderful weather outside, am I right?"
Greg wiped dirt and grime off his helmet. "Whatever, Dustin."
"Is there something wrong?" Dustin asked.
Greg looked at Dustin with annoyed eyes. "Mind your own business."
Dustin, quite surprised, said back, "Well fine then. I'll give you some time to...think about that.
Then Dustin turned his back on Gregory. He walked away, towards the Bazaar. Greg didn't understand, "Couldn't Dustin see he didn't want to talk right now?" Greg walked in the direction of the arcade. "A few runs will take my mind off it," he assumed.
Greg proceeded to one of the elevators. He pressed a few buttons and felt the zap as energy shot out of his body and into the machine. He had 8 energy left.
Gregory closed his eyes as the lift descended. He felt a clank as the machine stopped. Greg went to step off it when he pulled himself back. The elevator was stuck in the middle of descent! Greg pressed several buttons on the monitor. When nothing happened, he started frantically bashing his fist into all of the buttons. The lift slowly started to move.
Suddenly, it dropped as if it had no gears were attached to it. Greg held onto the railing as tons of wind brushed his face. Then it banged into the cold metal floor. The railing lowered.
Greg stepped off the lift. He felt a chill. Greg looked down at his leg and saw that it was twisted the wrong way. He walked a few steps and fell as he felt his leg crack. He started crawling forward. And to top it all off, 20 devilites appeared out of nowhere and surrounded him. They chucked many Science textbooks and computers at him.
Then Greg died. He hurriedly went to press a button on his armor to revive and then realized. He only had 8 energy. Greg sweared as he returned to Haven.
"Maybe tomorrow will be better," he told himself.

A Philosopher's Account of the Core
By: Artistbma
This excerpt is from the journal of Octavius Napoleon Johnathan Fredulin the Third. He was a scholar that was apart of the Omega Team. He was about to be promoted to Alpha Team scholar before they disappeared. Octavius researched information about the planet we Spirilians live on, Cradle. This account is about the planet's core. The following was taken directly from his journal.
Friday, April 31st
Today I'm going down to the Firestorm Citadel with a team of knights. They are to protect me and keep me safe from all harm as I examine the core and figure out how the Alpha Team disappeared.
Saturday, May 1st
The heat has given me burns worse than any I have ever known before. But, still, the knights keep me safe. I wish I had brought my Frostbreaker Armor. We are advancing along a long corridor. I can see a large knight. A guardian knight. He is beckoning us to come to him.
Monday, May 3rd
Two days ago, a trojan killed one of my guards. I fear there are more of them in the depths to come. We have already gone down three elevators. The heat is scorching us all. I feel in my gut we are close to the core. Very close.
Tuesday, May 4th
I am the last one left. A huge creature was waiting for us in the final room. It killed my protectors. I just barely made it on the elevator. I'm descending.
Wednesday, May 5th
Here I am. The core. I can feel the power resonating from it. Its almost as if it is a great ball of energy. I am walking closer to it. It is opening. It is opening. The core is opening. I see shapes inside of it. A king? His subjects? And are those cages over there.? Then, as quickly as it opened, it closed. I must get to Lieutenant Feron. I have to tell him. The world is turning upside down. I feel myself, falling. I cannot write this down hastily enough. I have to tell Feron about this. It is crucial.

The True Tale of Artistbma's Spiral Knight's Life
By: Artistbma
Well, I think it is time to tell this story. This is the True Story of my Spiral Knight's Life.
When I first arrived at Haven, I was what some consider a noob. I was still adjusting to the play style of Spiral Knights. On my first run, I met another knight named Jkerouac. We soon became friends and he invited me to his guild. Later, we got to Moorcroft Manor. Jkerouac realized I couldn't pass the barrier. He told me to go to the Guild Hall and wait for him. Ten minutes later, he came. He told me that he would help me get two star gear.
Remember, this was long before missions, so it was harder to get to Tier Two. He asked how many crowns I had and I answered, "2000." He gave me 8kcr and told me to go to the Auction House. He told me not to spend more than 2k on one item. I knew where the Auction House was because I had accidentally clicked on it once. I remember the items I got like it was yesterday; Wolver cap, Jelly Mail, Brandish, Prismatech Alchemer, Skelly Shield. An interesting matchup.
The next day, I was excited to show Jkerouac my new gear. Sadly, he didn't log on. Nor did he the next day. Nor the next week. I sent him a message through mail and asked why he was so inactive. He replied two days later. He said his grandfather was very ill. That was the last time I ever saw or heard from Jkerouac.
I stayed in his guild till I was 3* because the other members were active. I had discovered Lockdown and was at the top of my game. I had gained like 30kcr from winning games in LD. I traded it in and got 500ce. I thought it would be cool to make a guild. I named this guild "Art of Heroism."
I invited everyone that I saw who didn't have a guild. Soon my guild had 30 members. But the problem was that I didn't know most of them. And suddenly, they started leaving. Till 5 people were left. Then, I promoted two members to Guild Masters and left my guild. I searched for a guild for a while, and eventually a friend asked me if I wanted to join him on a run. I said "Yes" and did a few depths with him in T3. He said I was good for my gear and invited me to his guild.
I'm in that same guild now. I created the wiki page for it. Aegis Team is the first guild that I have actually had a lot of fun in. Even so, I still wish that Jkerouac would come back to Spiral Knights.
This was the short version of my story. There were many things that happened in between all these events, but this is a story filled with the main ideas.

The Auction House Flop
By: Artistbma
Luke really wanted a Twilight Aura. It would go great with his Shadowsun Stetson. So, he went to the Auction House.
"Lets see here," Luke whispered to himself. "I hope there is a Twilight Aura today."
To Luke's excitement, there was! He asked the stranger what the current bid was. It replied, "500,000 Creouns." Luke giggled a bit at the strange accent of the stranger, then handed it a bag with 500,100 crowns in it. Luke walked away.
Luke sat by the fountain, waiting for his Twilight Aura to arrive through mail. As he was wondering when it will come, a young knight ran up to him.
"Are you...um...lemme see here....Luke Metalback?"
Luke replied, "Yes" and accepted an envelope. He watched as the boy ran off to his next delivery. Luke tore open the envelope and read:
Sorry, you have been outbid on your Twilight Aura.
Go get another chance at achieving this item!
Luke threw the letter on the ground. He sulked over to the Auction House and checked the current bid for the Twilight Aura. Astonished, he read, 998,700 crowns.
"What!?" Luke proclaimed. "How could it have risen so much already!? I might as well buy it for the buy-out price now." Luke reluctantly handed the stranger 1 million crowns. In return, he got his aura.
Luke put on the aura he had wanted for so long. He felt his mouth curve into a smile. Luke looked around and noticed a knight walk up to the Auction House. The knight said to the stranger at the counter, "Here's uh....500,300 crowns for that Twilight Aura."
Luke shouted to the knight, "Sorry, I just bought it for 1 million!"
"Um, I said Twilight Aura," the knight responded.
"I know," Luke explained. "I just bought the Twilight Aura from the Auction House. See? I have it on me right now."
The knight looked confused. "Er...you have the Sprinkle Aura on."
Luke looked down at his armor. Sure enough, candy pellets were floating all around him.
"Darnit!" Luke cried.

A Day with the Snarbolax
By: Artistbma
Richard, standing proud in his wolver armor, took out a Flourish from it's scabbard. He walked over to the party button. The rest of his party members were standing there. They all took out their traditional Caliburs.
"Finally. What took you so long, Richard?" A tall, stocky member questioned.
"I had to kill that last chromalisk, Fred."
"Could've done it faster....." another member mumbled.
The final member stepped forward. He had a grey hood wrapped around his face, so only his eyes were visible. He also wore a long cloak that matched the color of his hood. His name was Andrew. He was the leader of the party, and he demanded no fighting.
"Alyssa, stop it. You too, Fred. Anyway, lets all get ready. I don't want to carry any of your corpses up to Haven," Andrew said.
The four all stepped onto the party button and were surprised by what they saw. A great monarch of the wolvers popped out from it's hiding place. The beast was clothed in shadow from head to foot. It scurried over to Fred and scratched up his Cobalt armor. Andrew hurriedly threw his Calibur like a javelin and hit the shadow wolver square in the head.
It shook it off and pounced on him. Richard didn't know what to do. Fred was lying on the ground (He had feinted), Alyssa sat huddled in a corner whispering to herself, and Andrew was getting killed before his very eyes! Richard threw his Flourish as Andrew had done. He missed the beast by a mile, but the sword pierced right into a bell in the middle of the clearing. The great animal screeched. Richard felt more confident, and he ran up to the wolver and stabbed it in the eye.
It writhed in pain and fell flat on the ground. Richard ran over to help Andrew.
"Andrew, are you ok!?" Richard asked worriedly.
"I'm...I'm fine. Just...get me....to..Haven.." Andrew answered.
Richard woke up Fred and gave Alyssa a pep talk. He asked them to help him lift up Andrew. They helped Richard get him onto the lift. Richard ran back and grabbed his Flourish. As they all ascended, he thought he caught a glimpse of the beast get back up and hurry back into the woods.
Must've been a trick of the eye.

Player Forgotten; A True Lockdown Tale
By: Artistbma
This is my tale of Lockdown. Every bit of this is true, behold.
When I was a Wolver, I was trying to find something to do while I had no mist. I had heard about Lockdown and I though it would be cool to try it out. And so, I did.
I started with a brandish and as a recon. I was doing ok, scoring about 2k damage each game, but never a really good player. That all changed when I bought my Swift Flourish. Wielding it, and zooming around as striker, I was scoring 4k-6k damage. I felt like I could kill more players and cap more points.
When I upgraded to Dusker, I was at the top of my game. I was swinging my Swift Flourish this way and that, killing tons and tons of knights. The only ones that gave me trouble were other Duskers. And there were a few who stood above the rest. Ancientdragon, Skybrandon, and Rdzknightz. Almost every time I fought them I would be killed. I could only kill them if I was with a group.
This all changed when I got my Double Heart Pendant. Even though I only got 3 more health points, it helped me a lot. Once I even killed Ancientdragon! I felt great.
One comment someone made, I believe it was Rawrawrwarwar who said, “Oh no, Art’s here.” This simple sentence made a huge impression on me. It made me feel like other people actually thought I was a good player. I got addicted to Lockdown. I once played for 3 hours straight. I couldn’t stop.
Eventually, I realized I had to move on with my game. I upgraded to Ash Tail and my Glory days of T2 LD were over. Many more Dusker clones appeared after I left. Very few players even remember my name in LD. I once was feared, but now I am forgotten.
One day, I will remake my T2 LD set and knock those clones off the charts. I will take the spot of best LD player. One day. That day may not be soon, but one day, it will happen.
I will make it happen.

The Auction House Flop 2
By: Artistbma
Luke had finally raised one million crowns again. He went to the Auction House. Perfect. A Twilight Aura was up for sale. He bidded 50k for it.
"I will get it this time," Luke said. As before, the delivery boy ran up to Luke and asked his name. Luke answered, "Yes, I'm Luke Metalback."
The boy gave him a letter and dashed away to his next delivery.
Luke ripped open the envelope. He thought he could feel the aura inside. When he read the message, he was annoyed. No aura. Luke stormed over to the Auction House and shoved 1 million crowns in front of him. "
"Gimme the Twilight Aura," he demanded.
The stranger gave it to him. Luke made sure it was the right one. He examined every inch of it and, feeling satisfied, walked away. Luke felt his mouth curve into a smile yet again. He put on the Twilight Aura, looked down, and was happy from what he saw. Shadows whipping around his feet and up his torso.
Then he heard a knight shout, "Selling Twilight Aura 700k crowns!"
If only Luke had waited one more minute. He would've saved 300,000 crowns.
"Darnit!" Luke yelled.

The Duke's Fall
By: Artistbma
Dean pulled out his Blitz Needle.
"Jen, you ready?" he asked his teammate.
"Absolutely," she said, drawing her Divine Avenger.
They stepped out into the Throne Room, a mad duke standing before them.
"What's this? More wolves hungry for the blood of Almire? Our Great Kingdom shall never fall to the likes of beasts!" Vanaduke boomed.
"Oh really? News flash, you're really messed up. And I'm gonna fix that," Dean grinned.
Dean charged in with his Blitz needle, held the trigger, then let loose.
"Agh!" Vanaduke screeched. The great king of Almire ran away from the group and ripped his mask off his face. He threw it at them, and it started shooting fireballs out of its eye holes. Jen and Dean retreated. Jen grabbed a blob of water from a nearby pedestal and threw it at the mask.
Then Dean ran in and shot his Blitz Needle again. The mask flew back to its owner. Vanaduke once again jogged around the room, smashing down with his mace, trying to hit them, but always missing. Dean repeated what he did earlier. And again, like earlier, Vanaduke threw his mask at them. Jen did what she had done earlier, but this time the mask faded into ashes, instead of returning to the Duke's face.
Grrraaaahhhh!
Vanaduke had raised two armor clad knights from the dead! The knights charged, lances raised, at them. Dean and Jen easily sidestepped the attack and ran towards the bigger threat. Tons of bullets were hitting Vanaduke's hide, but none hurt him.
Finally, Jen ran up and dug her Divine Avenger into Vanaduke's back. The great mass of a man fell to his knees, and died. The dead knights exploded into a pile of ashes. Jen and Dean, feeling satisfied, ran up to the elevator. They were to see the core, the holder of all energy.
And they were ready.

Guild Mayhem
By: Artistbma
Sam walked across the cold, metal floor of the Star-Stealers' Guild Hall. He looked over the edge of the balcony one last time. A huge amount of the Clockworks were visible from his view point, and it was a marvelous sight. He took out his newly crafted Blazebrand and etched his name into the floor of the hall.
SAM
The name shined with a fire as bright as the sun.
"Sam, we gotta go!" Daren shouted.
"Coming," Samuel sighed. Construction has just been finished on a new section of Haven, and the Star-Stealers guild was moving to a new and safer hall.
After a few days of unpacking, the new hall was looking good. But there was a new problem. Since the Guild Hall was now in Haven, rather than in its own outpost in the Clockworks, a landlord came every week to collect taxes. And the Star-Stealers had spent all they had on making their hall cozy.
The landlord came, and when he asked for the 100,000 crowns needed to keep the Guild Hall, Daren and the rest of the Guild Masters were broke. Guild Recruits were running around like idiots smashing their heads into walls. They were afraid they'd lose the hall. Guild Members were rolling around on the floor. Veterans, such as Sam, stood leaning against walls trying to pull out their spare change. And Officers were going wild trying to keep everyone calm.
The Veterans amassed a sum of 70,000 crowns, but Sam hadn't donated anything yet, as he wasn't in the hall. Sam came strolling through the doors, and once told of the situation, stuffed the landlord's big sack with 30,000 crowns. The man left, and Daren smiled to Sam.
"Thanks, you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" he looked to his fellow Guild Masters. They nodded and Daren went up to Sam and ripped his Veteran Badge off his armor.
"You're kicking me from the guild?" Sam was shocked.
"Nope," Daren grinned as he attached the light green Officer Badge to Sam's armor. "Sam is our new officer!"
With that, Sam just couldn't stop smiling.

'Sooo, I decided to make a bunch of short stories'
I see you took my advice. Or was it someone else who I told to make short stories?
Meh.
Anyway, happy to see you start a new story that you'll (probably) be able to finish. All those cliffhangerish ending for your other stories are just mean to the reader. Taunting him/her with a story that they'll never know. ._.
I think that came out wrong.
OK, lemme try that again. I'm glad to see yous tarting another story! :D
And I likez your story so far. Keep it up all the way to the finish line! :D
