New weapon, Ring Bomb

The Ring Bomb (this is my first suggestion, plz leave feedback)
When it explodes it will create a ring around you, the ring will grow untill its max range (10 Squares) is reached
The ring does a very small amount of damage but it does do massive
knockback and inflict status.
here is the alchemy line
-----3*----------------------4*-------------------5*

Ring Bomb | Blast Ring | Corona
Ring Bomb | Flare Halo | Ring of Fire
Yes, I got the names from Alphastevo (give him credit)

+The ring will NOT remove freeze from frozen targets (except the magma ring line)
+It will always inflict status
+Short fuse

Edit: Replaced 20 range To 10
Edit: Chaged Ring gun to ring bomb, sry i planned it to be a gun

-Long charge time
-Magma line needs krogmo coins to buy

They all do shadow damage

A version of the blast bomb that does elemental (pure)
kinda like the spine cone....

...I'm not entirely sure you understand how much of a distance twenty squares is. Even the largest currently-existing bombs, the various status lines, only have a diameter of 10 squares maximum. Not to mention you first say it's a bomb, and then you name the 2* version the Ring Gun?

Nice idea, but if I can, I'd say that status-wise we're already pretty good with bombs.
I'd rather see more damaging bombs, something like what you suggested would be awesome if instead of dealing low dmg and giving statuses were to deal continuous damage to enemies that come in contact with the ring (kinda like DR) and slowly push back enemies (the push back effect would be a less than the ring growth speed so that enemies can escape it eventually and not get permanently locked.

Also it'd be awesome to have a real elemental DPS bomb since shards suck now.

...you mean a expanding wave explosion which forms at the end a dome like current Blast Bombs, that also has 100% chance of status, when we already have dome bombs that are 1* only that inflict status that could be upgraded?

BUT to be quite frank this suggestion's pretty lame. So I'm HIJACKIN' IT.

RING BOMB LINE.

An Elemental-damage bomb who's main role is, well, damage. With a fire-causing line to tie INTO the whole damage-focus thing.

Explodes into a shockwave from the center of the blast upon explosion, the ring slowly expands, damaging enemies, dragging any foe along with it.

And that's JUST THE START.

Just a little something to add to your suggestion, maybe the pure damage one could be called the Corona? (no not the beer, the phenomenon)

It should have the same charge time as the old Sun Shards, and have the range decreased to the size of any other bomb of its star level, maybe one or two squares larger. I'm thinking something like a "pulse" bomb, that doesn't do much damage but it knocks back most enemies. Maybe a stun variant, since it's like a shockwave.

@Klipik, You failed to make your subject dissapear.

I'm pretty sure the charge time for the shard bombs didn't change. They were the same as the charge time for blast bombs. Shard bombs just had a faster fuse time.

Well, I just meant a fast charge time. I'm not a bomber, so i'm not sure about these things, but yeah. I'm just thinking of those RSS spamming CTR max recons in LD, something like that speed. Maybe the charge time of the Catalyzer?

BTW, it should also have a fast fuse time.

@Klipik, Catalyzer charge time would probably be too fast. I think they have faster charges without any bonuses than CTR max bombs. Fast fuse would probably be a better alternative.

I saw it as a sort of a child of Nitro and Hazes. Some people just like to create the "ultimate" stuff that would replace absolutely every single other variant of a weapon type in the entire game. Oh my, hazes that KBd....20 squares wide, too?

Firstly, remove several of

Firstly, remove several of the lines. This isn't a Brandish or a Guntech weapon, so there's no real need for all these lines, and their intent is NOT to deal status. That's what the Haze Bombs are for. Knockback is basically covered by Nitronome and it's variants, meaning that if we make this a knockback oriented bomb, we'd be dethroning them...or dethroning just Nitronome, since it's the only one used.

SECONDLY, we figure out what we can do with these. What can we do with a line of elemental bombs? Make them DAMAGE-ORIENTED! The only damage-oriented elemental bombs are the Crystal Shard's weird massive all-damage-encompassing family. Variation is good, so let's put in some more elemental bombs so people can choose between them. As a damage-based line, if we were to give it a status variant, it'd be one that needs to go along with dealing damage. Fire is a very offensive status, so let's go with that!

i really was expecting a 3 rings bomb that explodes right after each other starting from the center ending with the third ring. oh well, i like ur idea though.
