Kinda predicted there would be more, personally.
Other than my own, I like the Bloodbeast, the Silkwing, and that Grem line.
Kinda predicted there would be more, personally.
Other than my own, I like the Bloodbeast, the Silkwing, and that Grem line.
This is my entry for the challenge. As a friend said, there is no one quite like me who holds the ability to expand upon ideas way above and beyond on absolutely useless things. Or, in this situation, fun things. Sometimes, even useful things! Note the lack of those last two.
I'm not going to post concept art, however, to compensate I will describe it to my best abilities.
Knight Name: Scrillicks
D.O.C.: 5/6/13
Sprite Role: Decoy
Story: This peculiar sprite originated way back on Isora, from the labs of the famous Mawstell laboratories, an organization which brought about the creation of the Isoran Tortidroids, ancestors of the (likely) extinct Tortodrones. How it came to be first came from the mind of Dr. Eitesnein, a high-ranking scientist of the Mawstell laboratories. This was at the time where Battle Sprites was no more than an unstable, unreliable and unpredictable experiment.
One day, he happened to be researching the unexplored, fresh idea of Battle Sprites, and suddenly, a knight, clad in a torn strait jacket, burst out of the asylum across from the lab. He shouted a few illegible words, threw papers all over the streets, and proceeded to sprint away, pursued by a few security guards. Eitesnein managed to snag a few papers before the Mayor decided to incinerate all of the evidence of that incident after they had recovered their wits. What he read that night was staggering. That knight had somehow gotten papers from the B.S. (Battle Sprites) project. The few pages he had taken mentioned another trending topic, and some speculation on how to include it in B.S. - Dimensioning- the art of phasing in and out of the current ‘reality’ between two -or possibly multiple- parallel universes, though somehow retaining physical form and mental status. Eitesnein then typed up the reports so he would have it, and then threw the files in his incinerator. For the next few months, he worked overtime in the experimentation are of his laboratory, warping half of the equipment to another plane of existence in the process.
The first result was a creature, but too imperfect. The form and way it moved was too wrong, it relied on lab-manufactured Deoxyborinulice Acid too much, and the dimensioning would happen too sporadically and unintentionally. The proto-type failed to meet a Sprite of the caliber of the ones being developed, and was rejected. But this did not deter Eitesnein. He worked for 22 hours a day for a full year, and after much blood, sweat, tears, and multidimensional hamsters, a perfect, finalized form was produced. With the ability to jump planes of existence and throw things in a wide radius into a fabricated dimension It slithered its way to the most popular trending sprite, and was accepted as a Battle Sprite to destined to be star bound, destined to be sent on the Order’s newest ‘Ark’, the Skylark to Helionetworks unknown. However, those times did not last.
With jealousy growing in the ranks of the minors, they protested and riots broke out all over Isora. They demanded that their ideas be accepted, too, since some knight who has a lab actually made a sprite, and they couldn’t, though their ideas are just as good. They insisted that some quack in a lab isn’t any smarter than them. And then the term became used to describe all knights who had made a Sprite. The conflict rose to a global level, and the Order considered rebuking the B.S. program. But the masses would debate that only the sprites created already, ahead of time, be kicked off of the program, and that would be fair game enough. The Order, desperate, accepted the demand. There came a massive extermination of Sprites throughout the planet, until very few were left, feeding off of scraps in the streets or being hidden away, and living in fear.
However, Eitesnein had made a backup sprite, and he hid it deep into the earth, in a tomb that he had fabricated. So when the authorities carried his model away and burned his lab to the ground, he organized a plan. He loaded his sprite in a replica escape pod from when he saw them in his complimentary tour of the Skylark. From there he waited. On the month of the launch, he snuck into the ‘Lark and placed his pod, disguised as a thruster in the pod array. However, when exiting, guards noted his actions and questioned him. He attempted to dash away, because his Sprite was still in the pod, and drew the guard’s attention away from the Pod Bay. The following day, patrols found that someone had compromised the Tearium core, and due to suspicious actions, was deemed a traitor to the Order, and executed. He gave his life for his sprite.
But his Battle Sprite? The Skylark took off with it. It was hidden away for many years in space, and finally, when the Cradle of the Stars came into view, the core exploded. The pod was ejected, detecting a knight-sized entity in the pod, and it flew down into the clockworks. It landed on a platform above a derelict Deconstruction Zone, and the pod broke as it landed, throwing the Sprite off onto the floor. And there it waited, in a half-alternate plane of existence, waiting to be rediscovered. To be found, and cared for. For a companion. For a friend. The core modified it and changed its appearance, but with each passing day, it grew weaker, and weaker. And it so happened to be that, many more months later, on a mission, a knight came across its derelict form. He approached it, and the Sprite slowly came out of its trance, and stared at the teal, perky form in front of it. A knight. At last. The form edged closer, and spoke.
“Are you what they call a battle sprite? Hmm. You must be. There’s a label on you. Oh! You seem to be in trouble! Here, let me take you to Spiral HQ for medical services!” the knight noted, “But you don’t look like any form I’ve known,” as he carried the poor form to the up-elevator, the knight said, “Hello, I’m Scrillicks. What’s your name?”
--------------------
Tier One: Flight-Foiler
Lore: Rescued from the clockworks, this new battle sprite seems to be one not of the familiar kinds. It's past is also a mystery...
Appearance: Insectoid, grey, scarab/crocodile-like head
Ability: Has a 2-meter aura that draws enemy attention and sucks them in, but can only hold one at a time. When he is hit, he becomes incorporeal, being immune to further damage.
Tier Two: Decamp-Destructor
Lore: This sprite has become acquainted with the time flux and spatial replacement, though still has a few tricks to be learned.
Appearance: Larger with spikes on its head.
Ability: He can now attract greater enemies with a 4-meter aura that can hold three monsters at a time. He can periodically phase monsters in his aura in and out of existence at intervals of 5 seconds, for three seconds, damaging slightly. Monsters which are phased out of existence are tinged grey. Also when he is hit, he becomes incorporeal for a longer period of time, being immune to further damage.
Tier Three: Jugger-naught
Lore: Now fully accustomed to being a knight's partner in battle, this valiant dimensionist utilizes the highest grade defensive tactics to assure the safety of the squad.
Appearance: Even larger, has feathery wings, five legs on each side, and a Samurai Beetle-like head with teeth.
Ability: All of the above, but with a 10-meter aura that attracts up to seven monsters and phases individual monsters for five seconds at intervals of three seconds, dealing greater damage. He has a minor stunning aura. Plus, he can teleport “a group of enemies onto a distant plane” making them invulnerable, but able to be walked through, and not being able to attack. They turn blue when incorporeal.
--------------------
Leveling Breakdown:
You would need to feed him exactly 50 Blue Shards, 25 Brimstone, and 10 Static Clingers to level up to level 5 (T2), and 50 Soul Dust, 25 Warp Dust, and 10 Plasma Cells for 8 (T3). If the system is similar to ROTMG, then it would cost 10 crystal energy per material type (ex. any amount of Miracloth and nothing else for a flat rate) fed. So make sure you have ample materials. Also, you would level a sprite, and it's level stays the same throughout all of Sprite hood, despite tier. Every tier has a level cap before having to upgrade before leveling up again. The energy cost doubles every tier, so level to the cap before you up tiers. To up tiers, you need to spend 400 and 800 ce for T2 and T3.
--------------------
Ability Breakdown:
Attraction
Variants: All
Aesthetics: Signified by a pink ring that starts at (2/4/8) meters and slowly goes in, similar to a bomb. Sprite also spins while this is happening.
T1: Attracts one monster at a time in a-2 meter aura.
T2: Attracts up to 3 monsters at a time in a 4-meter aura.
T3: Attracts up to seven monsters at a time in a-8 meter aura.
Incorporeality
Variants: All
Aesthetics: Signified by a small grey flash when hit. Sprite turns translucent, like a recon cloak.
T1: When hit, Decoy becomes immune to damage by melee, projectiles and explosions pass through or don't affect him, and this lasts for 3 seconds. attraction lasts even while this is up.
T2: When hit, Decoy becomes immune to damage by melee, projectiles and explosions pass through or don't affect him, and this lasts for 6 seconds. attraction lasts even while this is up.
T3: When hit, Decoy becomes immune to damage by melee, projectiles and explosions pass through or don't affect him, and this lasts for 10 seconds. attraction lasts even while this is up.
Phaser
Variants: T2+T3
Aesthetics: Animation shows sprite taking a deep breath whilst raising his head upwards and snapping his head foreword while roaring. Monsters phased are tinged grey.
T2: Every 5 seconds, if possible, Decoy will phase the second nearest monster out of existence for 3 seconds. The monster takes damage equivalent to half of the sprite's level times one twentieth of monster's health. Here's a formula. 1/2L(0.05M)
T3: Every 3 seconds, if possible, Decoy will phase the second nearest, third nearest, and fourth nearest monster out of existence for 5 seconds. The monster takes damage equivalent to a third of the sprite's level times one eighth of the monster's health. Here's a formula. 1/3L([0.125M)
Dimensional Prison
Variants: T3
Aesthetics: Sprite floats up, and then roars, sending a screen-shaking shockwave that sends a circle like a 7 x 7 meter Darkfang seal, but with the order's symbol. The circle is blue. Monsters imprisoned are tinged blue.
T3: When there are over 6 monsters in any 7 x 7 meter space, Sprite uses this on them. While imprisoned, monsters are frozen in the animation they were in, and projectiles pass through. All AI's act as if they didn't exist, including T3 gremlins with an imprisoned mender. Monsters who are phased cannot be imprisoned, and vice versa.
Time-Warping Aura
Variants: T3
Aesthetics: Sort of like a guardian shield icon, but smaller, about 3 x 3 meters. It is prismatic, shifting from blue to green to yellow. Warped monsters glow silver and blue.
T3: All monsters in it get minor stun, in the same nature as the swarm seed. They also cannot perform dash, jump, or dodging movements while inside.
--------------------
If it were to be implemented, the mission it would be gotten from would be BS4-5: Salvaged Souls. It would conclude the second chapter of missions.
The awards would be the Sprite and 120 Prestige.
The mission description goes like this: You have seen much of the story of the Isoran sprites, but something far more urgent is calling. The signal of a wormhole is coming from around depth 18. If it's anything like what Bosco has interpreted, then it could potentially suck the entire Clockworks into it! Reports of recons suggest that it also is spewing out unknown creatures into the clockworks. Stop ecosystem imbalance! Get in there and find a way to subdue it with Bosco's machine. (Bosco will help on the mission, carrying a stunning, golden 4* Brandish.)
Floor One: Flux Vortex
Basically Aurora Isles and Quicksilvers with shock themed enemies. The skybox is a massive electrical vortex, and it is shown to suck things in from other islands. The final battle room consists of three waves with shock traps lining the walls.
Wave One: Three Quicksilvers, one Silkwing, and two Jelly Cubes.
Wave Two: Seven Gremlin Jumpers and a mender.
Wave Three: One Slime Porter (Quicksilver G. Colony that teleports when shocked and then spazzes out)
Floor Two: Spatial Tunnels
A Poison-themed Clockwork Tunnels with all enemy families, still above but closer to the vortex. There lie small vortexes that when interacted with, change color through (R->O->Y->G->B->P->B->W->R). If shot at, it spits the projectile out at another one of the same color. If there isn't one within twenty meters, then the projectile disappears. Pots are all over the place, and switches that must only be hit through vortexes are not uncommon. The final battle is a room filled with portals that can only randomly change color every twenty seconds signified by a silver border. There are barriers (Think RT) that must be hit down with portal-accessed switches. Also, there's a giant octopus on the elevator in the center that drops random poison monsters, via grabbing one off of a higher or lower depth. No "elites" like Alpha Wolvers will be dropped. When you lower a barrier, it goes up in ten seconds. Barriers are arranged in a clock-wise fashion around the elevator in the center, surrounded by "evil" gates. The squid starts to attack you himself if you get to the final switch in the final barrier which charges up the elevator. It attacks with tentacles that slam down, dealing normal. When you defeat it, you can proceed down.
Floor Three: Battle Across Dimensions
At the center of the vortex, where things occasionally fly out and in, you have health pads before a party button. The button is in a room where a massive blue/black scarab is sitting. When the button is stepped on, Nothing happens. Then, it wakes up and flies into the air. He roars, swoops down over the party pad and grabs Bosco, throwing him over the barrier to the other side, flying back to the center and the fight begins. During the fight, the vortex center is seen to change from stars to forests to fields to lava lands to Almire to Seerus's last stand against Feron after OCH to Bosco flying a Bird-Mech over cradle.
Stage One: He will hover around and spit big blue and black projectiles that move slowly and teleport victims that go too close while dealing normal damage.
Stage Two: When enough damage is dealt, he'll spawn ten shock-themed mini monster scarabs from respawn pads. He will fire more violently and faster.
Stage Three: If enough damage is dealt, he will attack much more often and constantly charge at the farthest knight. Also, he fires small blue disks rapidly at the nearest knight which repeat the last half-second's movements when hit.
When defeated, he collapses and explodes, stunning and damaging all knights in four meters and the gate opens. Then, in the next room are twelve treasure boxes and Bosco with his machine, seemingly draining the Vortex. On the ground, the Sprite is there, collapsed on the ground. It is interactable with the text, "It looks like a battle Sprite. Better get this thing back to Spiral HQ." When it is interacted with, Bosco picks it up and carries it to the elevator, while saying, "Wow. So that's what you guys go through every day?"
End Mission.
--------------------
Wow! That has been quite an adventure, and I do hope that I will win at least ONE award, if any. One can never give up hope, you know?
EDIT: Wow. I have competition, I see. Obviously I'm not going to get best artist, but I'm going for isn't that.

Frozen Golem Front/Side/Back view
Frozen Golem with normal knight Front view
Frozen Golem with normal knight Back view
Frozen Golem with normal knight Side view
Ability "Iron wall" Skill activate
Description
A much developed series of Mechaknights except much smaller. Despite there size they are still able to fight along side knights. The very first one was called Mk1 or Frozen golem because of the Ice that Bosco put on the back of the knight to keep it from over heating.
Tier 2 - Twin Golem
Description
A upgraded version of Mk1 "frozen golem". This time it is called twin golem because there is a 2nd golem that hangs on the back of the main golem.
There are two battery cells one in the body of the first golem and in the mind of the 2nd golem. This keeps it from overheating by keeping the two batteries together.
Tier 3 - Iron Golem
Attachment 5 Double plate shield
Attachment 6 Double plate shield 2
Description
The final evolution of the golem series. The Iron golem is much stronger since its made of iron. The helmet helps keep the Golem from overheating by having holes on the front. It also often stores the energy on its head then releases it all at once to create a massive explosion.
What it eats
>Bronze bolt x100
>Scrap metalx100
>Power cells x100
>Cooling cells x100
>Iron gear x50
Attacks
Normal melee.
Special abilities
>Drain ball: The battle sprite absorbs incoming attacks and stores them on a ball. after 30 seconds the absorbed attacks is released after the ball is thrown. (NOTE: The Ball follows the target like a missile)
> Lightning gem: The Battle sprite Summons a electric stone. The Sprite then focuses on the stone then the stone shoots a burst of electric shock (about 15-20 explosions) Shocking the enemy.
BattleSprite name: Mantimara
Image: Also contains customizations and forms
Bio: The Mantimara is the result of using a bunch of different animals in a dark ritual; it, along with the platypus, is one of the weirdest things to actually be alive and not underwater. It focuses on inflicting status and crowd control.
T1: It starts out as an innocent ball of fluff and scales with a tail, doing nothing more than hissing at enemies and slowing them down.
Attack 1. Threatening Hiss: Inflicts stun on one enemy.
T2: As it grows hind legs and a horn, it also grows in power, now able to even pull things toward its horn as if it's magnetic.
Attack 1. Paralyzing Growl: Inflicts stun on nearby enemies.
Attack 2. Gravitate: Sucks in small nearby enemies then inflicts minor damage.
T3: When it reaches its final stage, it suddenly comprehends everything and bends space and time to its advantage.
Attack 1. Chronos Roar: Stuns and freezes all nearby enemies.
Attack 2. Black Nova: Sucks in all nearby enemies and sets them on fire before dealing moderate damage.
Attack 3. Doom: Poisons, curses, and shocks one enemy.
I'm working on drawings of it in action now.

Descriptions:
Tier 1: Torchob
This sprite was first seen during the festivities of Troikmas, in which some Proto Sprites were allegedly passing by and affected by the festivities. Because of their strange creation, these Sprites are rare and not very commonly seen. It was noted early in their investigation that these Sprites tended to be in the vicinity of the knight called Tdlob, earning the Sprite its name – a cross between its torch-like appearance and the knight for which it followed. Since Tdlob's resignation, they have been content to follow knights with similarly warm spirits and friendly faces. They do however tend to prefer knights with Troikas in their hands.
Tier 2: Tdalight
The evolution of Torchob surprised the Spiral Order – they figured the Sprite was a unique, no-evolution Sprite. No one knew anything about this newest addition to the Sprite family, save that it maintained it's Tdlob-like look and bright appearance. THus, it was called Tdalight. Soon after the first evolution, others began to sporadically follow. Researchers noted that the evolving Tdalights had close bonds with their knightly partners – friendship had made an impact on both of them. The Sprite had evolved, gaining more brilliant battle abilities and increasing heat gain for the knight. The knight had been impacted in a different way – he now had a trustworthy friend. Symbiosis.
Tier 3: Flamelight
The first Torchob to evolve did so under special circumstances. Its partner had been gravely injured in a Candlestick Keep, and in its desperation to keep the incoming dark hoards away, the Tdalight erupted in a burst of light, igniting nearby candles and chasing the vile monsters away. The burst of light also healed the knight enough to escape the Keep, although doctors could not explain how. The newly evolved Flamelight, however, was already injured itself and had expended its strength in one final blast. It did not survive to see daylight again. The knight saved by his Sprite had his own idea as to what happened. "When Tdalight evolved like that, I felt a warmth - no surprise, eh? - but it was more than just temperature. Deep inside, I felt a pleasure and a longing wound up into one. A thankfulness for the friend I had found in this Sprite and a longing for better times ahead. The willingness and even eagerness to support and protect each other was the commonality between us, and I'll never forget it. Flamelight, for the impact you left on me, for the light you cast on me. This is for you."

Name of the knight who referred you: I received a tip off a bit before the contest even started from someone, I believe while I was shout casting some Lockdown with him. My time table might be a bit messed up though – I don't exactly remember the order with which things happened.
Good luck to everyone in the contest!

Moves:
Sync: When a knight has been downed or is sitting they can controll the movements of USB. While sync is active USB can gather hearts, vials, etc for the downed knight and bring them back. USB is also invisible to enemies while sync is active.
Electron Beam: USB plugs into its owner and charges for ~10s and then unleashes a powerful beam of electrons from his/her mouth.
Upgrade: USB plugs into its owner and temporarily boosts the owners defense and attack.
History: These creatures were kept by early crashers since they reminded homesick knights of animals from their home planet and are quite cute. These creatures also happened to be the first encountered which didn't attack on sight.
Teir 2
Name: UPS (stands for Unstoppable Power Saw) - (actually stands for Uninterrupted Power Supply)
pic: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/542959402840696126/424AA48C792F3B715...
Moves:
Sync: When a knight has been downed or is sitting they can controll the movements of UPS. While sync is active UPS can gather hearts, vials, etc for the downed knight and bring them back. UPS is also invisible to enemies while sync is active.
Electron Beam: UPS plugs into its owner and charges for ~7s and then unleashes an even more powerful beam of electrons from his/her mouth.
Upgrade: UPS plugs into its owner and temporarily boosts the owners defense and attack. (The boosts are greater and last longer than those from a USB)
History: A UPS is very strong despite its size. This fact was soon descovered by theives who attempted to steel from owners of these fine creatures. UPS is now a commonly used as a guard dog, err... guard cat!
Teir 3
Name: Orb
pic: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/542959402840705677/87A2FFC3C6B476274...
Moves:
Sync: When a knight has been downed or is sitting they can controll the movements of Orb. While sync is active Orb can gather hearts, vials, etc for the downed knight and bring them back. Orb is also invisible to enemies while sync is active.
Electron Beam: Orb ~4s and then unleashes an even more powerful beam of electrons from his/her mouth.
Upgrade: Orb uses wireless technology in its tail to connect to its owner and temporarily boosts the owners defense and attack. (The boosts are greater and last longer than those from a UPS)
History: The Orb is a stealthy creature and as a result the first sightings were only of its intermittently glowing tail. Its true form was only discovered years later and so the unofficial name Orb stuck.
Hope you like it, my artwork isn't that great but I really enjoyed creating the MechaCats.
And gave up hoping to win best lore.
So from the looks of it, starting at this moment, I have roughly 36 hours to make a companion sprite. Since I just found this contest after coming back from about a year of inactivity I think I need to make this happen.
*Avatar now set!
In the hopes of increasing participation this contest has been extended until the end of May, closing out on the 31st.
Best of luck to you all, I look forward to seeing additional entries.

-Attacks: http://shroom-ninja.deviantart.com/art/Veebot2-370447481?ga_submit_new=1...
Role: Support/Offense
*Note all of the attacks on all tiers of the Veebot line cannot move position while attacking.
-There is a speed increase for each tier.
-Does not touch the ground so is immune to ground based traps and attacks, such as spikes and chromalisk spit, but not attacks like to wolver bites
__________
T1: Veebot (Construct Poison)
Veebots are often seen along the roadways of large cities. They were once thought to be used in construction/demolition work, now these little bots spend their days chewing holes in the roads. Their “stomach tank” contains recycled “tar” from the streets they consume. This little fella is sure to cough up some trouble for your enemies.
- Abilities-
-Phlegm: Support -elemental: Mouth opens and "tar" is shot forming a filled circle of blobs (similar to the chromalisks' spit attacks) with an Area of Effect (AOE) with radius equivalent to a 1* Vaporizer. Any enemy inside the temporary “tar pit” is stunned only while touching the “tar” (a slowdown effect due to the stickiness of the tar) and has a low chance of having a lasting poisoned effect on them. Has a cooldown before it can be used again. All knights are immune to the effects and can run through the “tar” as normal.
-Jab: Melee-Piecing: Gets close to the target and jabs the enemy with its stinger twice in a row.
___________
T2: Vespishot (Construct Poison)
Devilites are known to rig up Vespishots with leftover antennae using rubber bands (All business expenses of course.) in an attempt to keep potholes from appearing in the employee parking lots. It’s theorized this works because the antennae pick up radio waves in certain areas on a specific FM frequency, which happens to be the Devilites’ main public radio station.
- Abilities-
-Spit Up: Support-elemental: Same as Veebots’ Phlegm except AOE is now similar to a 3* Vaporizer and can cause a good chance of causing moderate poison.
-Does This Sting?: Melee-Piecing: Same as Veebots’ Jab but stronger and stabs three times in a row.
___________
T3: Vendrone (Construct Poison)
Vendrone grew up on the streets and then promptly ate them. They’re mean, fast, and have a nasty habit of losing their lunch. This toxic concoction creates not only a sticky mess but plenty of unfortunate souls stuck in the middle of it. Once hardened it’s promptly eaten up by other Veebots, who find leftovers “a bit too crunchy at times.”
- Abilities-
-Sewer Line: Support-Elemental: Same as Vespishots’ Spit Up except AOE is similar to a 5* Vaporizer and can cause a good chance of causing bad poison.
-Three Rounds Rapid: Ranged-Piecing: Fires three fast stingers one at a time in succession in a straight line at the target. Does not change angle of next shot if the target moves out of the way.
_________
Bit more lore:
With a bit of coaxing and a truckload of old roads, the Spiral Order managed to capture and reprogram a good portion of Veebots to obey knights’ orders. Initially they were put to use helping repair the Skylark and Haven but some knights found them more useful out in the field helping against monster attacks. Since then, they’ve proven their worth as cute companions (T1 anyway), amazing supportive assets, and voted the best way to mess with devilites fourteen times in a row.
_________
Hope everyone likes my BEES! Good luck to everyone else who entered too.
Sorry about the few awful scans, thankfully the main sprite picture came out ok. Might draw a few more pictures later since there is more time now.
I'm glad the contest has been extended. A mate of mine was going to rush and post theirs tonight, but now they have longer to improve it!
T1 Voltregen
A electric snarby looking baby creature that shocks the enemies and its special attack is to explode a electric charge around it.....
It only and unusually appears around factories and towns....they don't like to be seen.
It likes to eat jelly.
It can give you a 10% ability to shock a enemy for 3 secs ( it happens because it likes hugging your weapons and it causes the bullets/swords/bombs to have electricity)
Also it is veeery cautious of its surroundings
T2 Voltreganogen
Still electric and it grew wings has same abilities as Voltrgen except it doesn't give you the 10% chance anymore gives you 20% chance to dodge (all because it became faster and then had a bone structure as some bird....it is now veery light)
Unusually it grows lighter but bigger scientists are still trying to find out why how?!? ;P
T3 Voltreganogan
Same as T2 version but bigger stronger big wingspan half size of normal SK knights
It also gained back its ability to shock except 15% chance and 5 seconds it lasts....
It is endangered throughout the galaxy because they had their own planet....weird right?then how did they get to cradle anywaaays....UNKNOWN
T1 DMG:7 T2:30 T3:80
Supportive,offensive
(Im not really looking forward to CE and just giving ideas :P)
HOPE ALL OF OUR IDEAS FOR SPIRAL KNIGHTS WILL BE IN THE GAME =D
Yo! You people get to your battle sprites!
[Shameless supporter bump.]
Tier 1
Name:
Gevilittle
Description:
A little fiend that roams the Clockworks, searching for a willing partner. It may have no arms or hands but it's tail packs quite the punch. Although it's a fiend, it's actually quite friendly. Loves to be given White Chocolate. They are offensive and supportive in battle. They deal normal damage and stun.
Abilities:
Tail Bash (By using the little spiky ball on it's tail, it can hit the enemy for an average amount of damage.)
Fly Taunt (By flying around the enemy, dodging the enemy's attacks, it can distract the enemy for you.)
Gevilittle Eyes (Like the so-called "Puppy Eyes", it looks at the enemy endearingly that it seems to stun them.)

The name/description of the completed sprite evolution line:
Shard Serpent
Supporting/Social Sprite
The Shard Serpent evolution line is a line of sprites that have recently been discovered in some of the lower depths of Cradle. Previously, they were purely defensive sprites that often followed bombers, carrying the heavy loads of ammunition charges they required. After the crash of the Skylark and during the time since then, these sprites have adapted to the minerals they burrow beneath, often eating them. Once recovered by a knight, they can be trained to do various tasks, most of which relate to the demeanor of Spiral Knights who favor bombs.
Tier 1: Neonake
The first stage of the Shard Serpents are called Neonakes and they love to munch on minerals! They follow the Spiral Knight around scrunching around much like a caterpillar does. When brought down to the clockworks, they often sniff and bite in the direction of nearby minerals, aiding in the exploration of Clockwork paths.
The Neonake’s offensive abilities might be lacking but they can break down a mineral deposit in three swift bites, allowing the Spiral Knight to pick up and carry reasonable chunks back to HQ. This can be extremely useful for the bomber who loves carrying more than one bomb, as they do not have to charge up three times to break apart minerals.
Ability: Mineral Detect
The Neonake drifts in the direction of the nearest unbroken mineral deposits, without wandering from the knight’s side.
Ability: Mineral Break
The Neonake can break apart mineral deposits quickly, with three swift bites.
Ability: Mineral Carry
The Neonake can carry any small or medium sized mineral that the knight drops on the ground. They are carried in its mouth back to HQ.
Tier 2: Mineradder
The second stage of the Shard Serpent is the Mineradder; a dazed and clumsy companion that constantly begs for more minerals. Like its predecessor, the Mineradder can sniff out nearby mineral deposits, and when close, bashes them apart with repeated thwacks of its tail. It can also carry minerals back to HQ for the knight. The Mineradder has been observed to occasionally stun enemies that get too close to the Spiral Knight. Whether this is intentional or just a clumsy convenience has yet to be determined.
Special Ability: Stun
The Mineradder crashes into an approaching opponent, stunning them for one second.
Ability: Mineral Detect
Often times, the Mineradder falls flat on its face in the direction of the nearest mineral deposit.
Ability: Mineral Break
The Mineradder can break apart mineral deposits with three swift thwacks of its tail.
Ability: Mineral Carry
The Mineradder can carry medium and large chunks of minerals that the knight drops on the ground. They are carried at the end of it’s tail.
Tier 3: Crystal Constrictor
The final stage of the Shard Serpent is the Crystal Constrictor. Much resembling the 5* shard bombs, this companion has traded his taste of minerals for loyalty to its Spiral Knight. The Crystal Constrictor can still break and carry an extra fragment of minerals but has lost the worldly sense of sniffing them out. Instead-- having adapted to combat in the Clockworks-- the Crystal Constrictor aides the Knight by constricting two or more grouped enemies together for a moment before exploding in a deadly shower of energy and projectiles. This special attack has damage alignment dependent on the type of mineral it carries, as well as its size. Large chunks of minerals deal more damage, minerals are consumed by the explosion. The Crystal Constrictor takes time to reassemble itself after every explosion.
Special Ability: Constricting Explosion
The Crystal Constrictor holds two or more enemies together for three seconds before exploding, dealing damage based on its carried mineral. This attack has a 40 second cool-down, is activated by the knight and expends the carried mineral.
Ability: Mineral Break
The Crystal Constrictor wraps itself around a mineral deposit and snaps it three times to break it apart quickly.
Ability: Mineral Carry
The Crystal Constrictor can carry up to large and shiny mineral chunks.

Excerpt taken from Dr Laxar’s Research Journal into Battle Sprites from The Lab, Haven.
Laxar Entry 1 – Snipish (T1)
A strange old knight called Spex came to me about this new super-snipe. He told me of how whilst exploring a Graveyard in the deepest depths of the clockworks the most terrible tragedy occurred. In the midst of a furious battle against a small army of Undead, poor Snipish fell off of Spex’s Sniped Stranger Hat right into the path of an attacking Zombie’s stun breath. Spex dived in to save his feathered friend and pulled him out of harm’s way. Upon his return to Haven Spex ran straight to us at The Lab, hell-bent on keeping little Snipish alive. After 4 days of worrying, waiting and sleepless nights, we, at The Lab contacted Spex with fantastic news! Not only had the former Snipe pulled through and survived, but the Undead monster’s breath had altered the Bird’s very DNA, making it seemingly immune to stun and tolerant of other status effects.
Abilities Developed: Status Deflect, Charm
Laxar Entry 2 – Snipon (T2)
It appears Snipish’ DNA has mutated further after his little accident. We, at The Lab, have yet to understand why. We believe it could be an ongoing effect of the Zombie’s breath and the mixture of food and materials we have been feeding to Snipish. We also believe it won’t stop here. Studies show that the DNA will continue to mutate with the aid of more materials making the Snipe continue to grow. We call this new form Snipon.
Abilities Kept: Status Deflect
Abilities Developed: Status Breath, Wingblast
Laxar Entry 3 – Snipex (T3)
Amazingly Snipon’s DNA has progressed to its final stage where it has stabilized. Against all expectations Snipon has survived the ordeal and the physical changes even with his owner’s insistence on taking him into battle in the clockworks. This new type has been named Snipex.
Abilities Kept: Status Deflect, Status Breath
Abilities Developed: Wingblast (Status), Needle Feathers
Abilities:
Status Deflect:
Tier 1 - Sprite jumps into an oncoming attack, absorbing 1 of the statuses that would have hit the Knight. The status then affects the Sprite severely instead.
Tier 2 - Amount of time the status affects the Sprite for is reduced.
Tier 3 - Amount of time Spite is affected for is reduced further and is the status is Stun, is disbanded altogether. Both Knight and Sprite take no Stun.
Charm:
Tier 1 – Sprite reveals it’s cuteness to a monster, temporarily mesmerizing the enemy, inflicting the equivalent effect as being stunned. Stuns monster for a short time.
Status Breath:
Tier 2 – Sprite breathes a strong gust of air into an attacking monster, momentarily stunning them and dealing a low amount of damage per second. Lasts for 3 seconds.
Tier 3 – Amount of time breath goes for, damage and Stun time is increased.
Wingblast:
Tier 2 – Sprite produces a powerful gust of air with a downward stroke of it’s wings. This ability knocks enemies back a short way and deals a small amount of damage.
Tier 3 – Knockback distance is increased, damage is increased and inflicts Stun status effect.
Needle Feathers:
Tier 3 – The Sprite’s Feathers fan out and blast away from the wings in a blitz-like attack dealing damage in a 90 degree, forward facing area, causing a very small amount of knockback and dealing a minor Stun effect.

History:
A lone knight traversing the clockworks for his first time took sole comfort from his trusted canine companion.
Now this puppy had been trained since the day his eyes opened to fight for and protect his master at all costs.
Unfortunately, the gremlins had other plans. They took advantage of the knight's shock at seeing the
enormous clockworks sprawled before him. As he stood gaping, they stole his precious companion who, despite all his
training, was just too small to defend himself against the gremlins.
These vile monsters dragged him into the depths of the clockworks and began a series of experiments on the unsuspecting
puppy. Using bits of every known vial, the gremlins altered him until he was no longer completely canine. Once
finished, they cloned the puppy and soon had an army of mutant dogs which they unleashed on Haven. It seemed hopeless as
the dogs ran wildly through the streets, pouncing on any knight they met. But the gremlins hadn't realized how strong
of a bond that first puppy had with his knight. The dogs weren't attacking and biting, they were playing and licking.
Through hours of training and much more time spent playing, the knights discovered the results of the gremlins
experiments. Whenever a knight tossed a vial to his dog, the dog would immediately assume the traits of that vial,
whether it be fire, poison, stun, etc. The dog itself would be unharmed, but its attacks had a chance of inflicting the
vial's elemental pain on an enemy. From then on, the knights were inseparable from these loyal companions.

- Golden shield
Spectre floats above the knight/user and covers the knight with yellowish golden aura bubble that makes the knight invulnerable and heals the knight 10% per second. (Duration ends at 10 seconds) Recomended using Light shards, celestial ores and luminite for longer duration. Note: Golden shield can also happen to 3 random party members on clock works but for only 5 seconds. Also battle sprite is vulnerable to any attacks. When damaged too much the golden shield attack will be canceled.
- Lazer
Spectre floats above the knights head and shoots lazers at enemies near the knight. The lazers attack damage increases as the duration ends. (Attacks enemies around knight for 60 seconds. Can be upgraded by feeding specter more Dark shards, Dark minerals, and Nightmare mane. Nightmare mane recommended for stronger attacks and longer durations)
- Elemental switch
Battle sprite can switch to dealing elemental damage fire. To elemental damage shock. When color is changed, Each color has its own separate health.

Favorite Material/Food
- Soul dust are like sugar to Spectres the dust makes them remember or read any memory of other souls that has departed.
- Maidens tear taste like rock candy to Spectres it especially helps them level up there attacks. When eaten the spectres are able to absorb the fighting skills of Almirian knights.
Lore/Back story
When a almirian soldier ran away from a war that consumed his kingdom. Darkness chased after him wherever he went. One day when he was being chased by the darkness he was bit by a zombie. Luckily he survived. When he reached the end of the road he reached the sanctuary. There his body began to feel numb and his insides began to fall apart until only his bones remained. Before he was turned into a Zombie he dipped a shiny rock looking diamond on what is now called maidens tear. He bit a small piece and swallowed it before he died. The Maidens tear rolled down the sanctuary stairs as his hands turned to bones and his insides turned to dust. Though instead of turning into a zombie his soul left before he could turn into one. After years and years. A crash happened that triggered part of the core to release crystal energy. The wave of energy awoken the soul and the Spectre battle sprite was born.

Tier 1-3 With Weapons (Pencil)
Tier 1-3 Without Weapons (Pixel)
BONUS: Concept Art
Sprite: Armorite
Height: Half as tall as a average Spiral Knight
Recolor: Eyes (T1, T2, T3,) and trim on armor (T3)
Back story:
The Armorite first came to be when Bosco, the researcher, was irritated that we couldn't get the mecha-knight he'd been working on for around three years to work. In a fit of rage he bashed the mecha knight with his wrench several hundred times until all that was left was a pile of scrap metal, gremlin gizmos and an assortment of other random metallic materials. He got an idea. Why not collect tons of broken mecha knight and retrode parts and build them into something new? At first, it looked as if nothing would come of it, but over time the Armorite began to take on the form of a mini knight. After several prototypes, the design was finalized. The gremlins in Emberlight helped with the production of these tiny mechanized-warriors. They are now available to own and operate at (relatively) low costs.
Tier 1: Armorite
Class: Offensive
The base-model of the Armorite series. It is armed with a bolted blade and iron buckler. It has the same basic attacks as it's larger counterpart, the mecha-knight. All models will have two settings, one to stick closely with you and fight, and one to stay in your general area and fight. The Armorite has a rough un-polished metal frame. Thick smoke and sparks shoot out from it's exhaust pipe while in combat, and it has random spasms every so often.
Abilities: It inflicts average damage upon it's worthless enemies (T1, T2, T3,) And has a damage bonus low against gremlins.
Tier 2: Armorite Knight
Class: Offensive
A better armed and armored model of the standard Armorite. It is armed with a Calibur-style sword and Defender-ish shield. It has the same basic attacks as it's larger counterpart, the mecha-knight. It also has a very pointy spike on his helmet. The armor of this model has a semi-polished finish, therefore giving a slight shine. The inner workings of this model have been slightly reworked so that it is more efficient and not so dirty (less sparks, smoke and no more random-spasms.)
Abilities: Knocks back enemies occasionally, damage bonus medium against gremlins.
Tier 3: Armorite Centurion
Class: Offensive
An extremely durable Armorite that sports a fanciful crest atop his helm. This is the final model in the Armorite series, has improved health, Powerful Calibur-style sword, and Mighty Defender shield for maximum defense. The innards of this model are the most efficient and eco-friendly, it has little to no sparks, and a light puff off smoke occasionally. It's armor is buffed to a brilliant shine (which it is very proud of) and it's prismatic armor trim makes it look truly suave. This is truly the greatest asset you could have in the field of battle aside from your own armor and weapons.
Abilities: Knock back with every hit. Damage bonus VS gremlins high.

-During a cleanup at the Ironclaw Munitions Factory, a prototype for a mobile turret was recovered and brought topside for research into potential Gremlin technology. It looked as though the Gremlins took the head of a 'Gun Puppy' turret and set it into a 'Roving Sphere' so it could roll around and shoot things instead of being confined to a fixed location. The programming alone was bizarre enough as it seemed incomplete and thought scrapped before the project was finished. The technology inside the 'Ballpup' as the techs called it was something that seemed beyond the clawed hands that crafted it. Everything about the Ballpup seemed unfinished, yet it was theorized that with a few tweaks would still function.
-Lo and behold the techs were right. With a few adjustments and some replaced parts the Ballpup was activated, not without precautions of course. The experiment took place within a reinforced observation chamber. After some mechanical whirring the Ballpup sprang to life and started rolling around the chamber, tail wagging. Staring for a few moments to see what it would do, the Ballpup did a few more laps and came to a stop near one of the techs ringing the chamber. It sat there and stared at the tech, head slightly tilted to one side. Checking quickly over the code, several other techs busily tried to piece together what it was doing. Yet the code in front of them seemed only to show that the Ballpup was waiting for something.
-Unsure of how to proceed the tech that had apparently captured the attention of the pup started giving it simple commands. The techs observing the code watched as new lines began to write themselves, the Ballpup was generating recordings of the commands and voice recognition for future reference. After several more tests it became clear that only the first tech who issued commands could continue to do so, the Ballpup would respond to no one else. Limits were tested with increasingly complex commands but to no avail, it could only follow simple instructions. The code began stating that a recharge was required to continue operation, but the techs never found a way to unhook the power cell from the pup or a way to plug it in. They were again befuddled as most machines were charged by simply absorbing the air around them. This problem was quickly solved as the Ballpup began to eat testing equipment left inside the research chamber.
-After a short panic and the loss of necessary equipment, the techs were treated to yet another development. The Ballpup's Roving Sphere opened up and forelegs were extruded from the machinery inside. The Ballpup now had front...paws, and had even grown in size, there was also a constant mechanical growl coming from the advanced Ballpup. The code also received an update and was somehow more complex. Due to the constant hum of the Ballpup they renamed him: Grrvolver. It was speculated that this project was originally scrapped by the Gremlins because it simply took too long to cultivate a Ballpup and Project R took precedence. The testing began again and the complex commands were re-issued, this time with better results.
-This cycle continued for some weeks, save for the feeding. To save on testing equipment, scavenged construct parts were brought in for food instead. Thankfully the Grrvolver preferred these over more valuable testing gear and it stopped trying to eat its way out of the chamber. As some apparently hoped, after a period of feedings and testing, the Grrvolver again, evolved. This time it grew noticeably in size from reinforced plating and sprouted rear legs. In the excitement the 'owning' tech clapped his hands gleefully, in response the newly evolved Grrvolver barked happily and fractured the reinforced plexi keeping the containment chamber sealed. Left dazed for a moment, the techs just looked around at each other, slightly bewildered, before resuming their cheering.
-The upgraded model was dubbed: Calibark. This seemed only fitting due to the rather apparent power it had at its disposal. The owning tech began traversing the clockworks with teams as a Field Tech to live test Calibark. The results were impressive to say the least and other avenues were being explored, including replication. With great exuberance, the Tech Team managed to reproduce the original Ballpup prototype, but nothing more. The Ballpup would still evolve and soon half the Tech Team had their own Ballpups, Grrvolvers, and a few Calibarks. After months of experimentation they were still unable to reproduce the advanced code required for pre-evolved Ballpups, it just wasn't possible. So the Tech Team simply relented and are continuing to test Ballpups until they are ready to assign them to knights for Clockwork use.

The name/description of the completed sprite evolution line:
Shrubbers
These harmless-looking plant sprites come from the Jigsaw Valley levels of the clockworks, where they tend to the plants and wildlife under the protection of the lurking Lumbers. The magnificent gardens found in those fertile levels are all the work of dedicated Shrubbers. Wild Shrubbers have few natural defenses, instead focusing on aiding in the growth and healing of their charges. To protect themselves they have become small and quick, able to dart away and summon a Lumber to deal with any threat - as long as they are in their home levels.
The recent active attacks by gremlins, though, have separated some Shrubbers from their homes, or in even more extreme cases destroyed the viability of those levels altogether. The displaced sprites are left wandering from level to level, trying to find their lost gardens and their formidable guardians. Some have found, instead, the warrior Knights who roam the Clockworks and clear out the monster infestations, and these Shrubbers have chosen to ally themselves with us in exchange for our protection.
Until now, our researchers were working on adapting the Shrubber abilities to work with our Power Armor and be more useful to our needs. Recent breakthroughs have allowed an upgrade, automatically downloaded to all armors, that protects us from the Shrubber pollen clouds, and allows us to utilize their healing abilities. Our researchers have also found a way to tailor the growth of these sprites, to increase their attack capabilities and allow a Knight to direct their growth. As such, the first Shrubbers are now becoming available for those brave Knights interested in helping us test their capabilities. Please contact Biotech Weatherstaff for more information!
-----------------------------
Congratulations on your new sprite, and thank you for your assistance in our research! Before venturing into the Clockworks with your new Shrubber in tow, we highly recommend that you read through the following informational materials in order to better prepare yourself. There are also several actions you will need to take during the development of your Shrubber, and reading these materials will help you to direct your sprite's growth in the manner most helpful to you and your team.
Tier 1 - Heather
A newly acquired Shrubber always comes in the Heather stage. These plant-like sprites are small and stay low to the ground, not rising above a Knight's knee. Heather sprites are able to inflict a minor status effect on enemies near them; you chose which effect you desired when you ordered your sprite. In order to use your Heather, you must activate it and verify that you received one with the correct status effect. If there has been a mistake, please contact Biotech Weatherstaff for a replacement.
All Shrubbers being provided to our Knights have been trained to collect crowns, materials, and heat while exploring the Clockworks. These sprites also seem to remember some of their original purpose of caring for the plant-life of the Clockworks, and early reports indicate that they check on the health of all plants that they pass. In the process, they may find hearts and crowns hidden within those plants, which they will remove to give to their Knight. Thus far, all reports seem to indicate that a plant, once searched by a Shrubber, will yield nothing else if destroyed.

((Abilities:
- Each Shrubber can do one of six status effects: fire, freeze, stun, shock, or poison. This is chosen at the beginning, and cannot be changed later.
- At Heather stage, the sprite will attack one nearby enemy to inflict a minor status effect, and can do this once every 5-10 seconds. The interval is random within that window, and the sprite attacks automatically.
- All Shrubbers can collect crowns and heat.
- All Shrubbers can pull hidden crowns and hearts out of nearby bushes and cuttable grass. They collect the coins and leave the hearts where they were standing. Once crowns or hearts have been pulled from the bush/grass, destroying the bush/grass will not yield anything.))
Tier 2 - Hibiscus
At a certain point as your Heather grows, flowers will begin to appear on its branches; this is the sign that it has become a Hibiscus. While a Heather can only infect monsters by injecting them through its thorns, these flowers allow a Hibiscus to release a cloud that affects multiple monsters nearby. Reports so far indicate that the color of the flowers match the status effect the Shrubber can induce - a Shock Shrubber, for example, will have blue flowers, while an Ice Shrubber's flowers will be white.
Once these flowers appear, your Shrubber will again need input from you. At this stage, your sprite can be trained to grant you one minor buff; you must choose between a movement speed increase, a damage increase, or an attack speed increase. Please see the attached materials for further information on how to properly train your Shrubber when it grows into a Hibiscus.
The text breaks here to include this image: http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e390/kailyia/Coloring%20Projects/SK-Sh...
((Abilities:
- All abilities listed for T1
- At Hibiscus stage and above, the status effect is released in a cloud, infecting all enemies near the sprite. This cloud is equivalent to a 2* haze bomb.
- When the sprite grows to Hibiscus stage, the Knight must pick a buff: minor movement speed increase, minor damage increase, or minor attack speed increase. All buffs last 5 seconds. Once chosen, this cannot be changed
- Every 10-15 seconds, Hibiscuses will use one of its abilities, either inflicting its status effect or casting its buff on its Knight. The interval is random within that window, and the sprite attacks automatically.))
Tier 3 - Hydrangea
A fully mature Hydrangea can reach to a Knight's shoulder; their greater size and larger number of flowers seems to increase the size of the status effect cloud they release, allowing them to infect more enemies at once.
After growing to their final form, these Shrubbers are able to briefly interface with a Knight's power armor in order to grant additional assistance. When they do so, the transfer of energy will fully repair shields, remove all status effects, and cause a small burst to push all enemies away from the Knight. However, this requires an immense amount of energy from the Hydrangea, and early versions could be entirely exhausted by the process, rendering them unable to assist the Knight further. We have been able to strengthen our current model, but your sprite will still only be able to activate your armor once before resting. They seem to be able to feed off of the energy transfer involved in activating a lift, and will be completely reenergized upon reaching the next level. Unlike their other abilities, which Shrubbers will use automatically, a Hydrangea will not provide a power boost to your armor without your command.
((Abilities:
- All abilities listed for T2
- Status effect cloud is larger, equivalent to a 4* haze bomb.
- Every 15-20 seconds, Hydrangea will use one of its automatic abilities, either inflicting its status effect or casting its buff on its Knight. The interval is random within that window, and the sprite attacks automatically.
- Hydrangeas gain an activated move that fully repairs the Knight's shield, cures all statuses, and performs a small stun blast. This move can only be used once per level.))
As you traverse the Clockworks, we request that you maintain records on your sprite's behaviors and abilities, which should be sent to Bioetch Weatherstaff. These will help us in our continuing efforts to better equip our brave Knights. We appreciate your assistance, and look forward to working with you in the future.

A work-in-progress of my entry. Still needs a LOT of work and it's very unlikely that i'll be able to finish it before the deadline :S
Appearance:
http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/9160/skmeidobotsktch.png
Her T1, T2 and T3 look will look slightly different but you'll be able to customized her with a large assortment of costumes and accessories.
Main inspirations for the Meidobot are the Scuttlebots, Castlevania's Persephone and the Vacuum Arm from Megaman Legends.
Abilities:
-She'll automatically pick any items for you as well as smash breakable objects like treasure boxes/candles/blocks/luminite deposits/etc. at a rapid rate. Not the most useful abilities but it will definitely speed up your farming at the clockworks.
-She also has a 2-slot item belt, letting her store pickups like capsules, vials and mecha kits which she can use at her owner's command. Her belt can only carry 1-type of pickup per slot though.
-She can also carry a piece of luminite.
-Her vacuum cleaner's main component, a modified graviton motor, can be detached and used as a bomb similar to the electron/graviton bombs but with almost twice the range. The secondary blast deals Normal damage. Additionally, the bomb can be installed with a vial (from the sprite's item belt) to give the secondary blast a status effect.
Wow these turned out awesome guys good work!
So, umm, I may have gone overboard and done a whole website for my entry...
http://skbattlesprites.weebly.com/
I could copy and paste everything onto here, but that would be a lot!
Just check the website ;) Click on the pictures there to see larger versions of them!
Note: Various artists helped me complete a couple pieces off my ideas, if they could be up for the "best art" category that would be awesome :D
Knight Name : Clock-Punk
Medium : Photoshaps
Date of Completion : 5/31/2013
Sprite Line : Candlegeist
Sprite Role : Enkindling foes and boosting damage
The Candlegeist is an undead being similar to a Lost Soul, which has given up it's days of Self-Destructing for greener pastures. Candlesprites have a Ward Candle balanced on their heads for aiding those who face their undead breatheren. These particular ward candles grant nearby Knights bonus damage vs. Undead, and if aggressed can ignite nearby foes.
---------
T1 : Waxler
Waxlers have tiny ward candles, but that doesn't stop them from having a bright flame burning eternally inside of their orby heads (for emergency candle or enemy relighting). Happy and energetic in nature these sprites make it their full time job to help their Knight fight Undead hordes. Found rarely in graveyards and the abandoned libraries of the Clockworks, they can be seen moving objects around in attempts to aid those in need. A waxler will follow a Knight closely, providing low bonus damage vs. undead to all nearby knights. When attacked has a low chance of performing a small fire blast for light elemental damage, with a good chance of starting minor fires on enemies. The aggressed Waxler will panic for several seconds, flying in erratic patterns before settling down by their knight again.
Abilities :
3 block radius Low bonus damage vs. Undead
Low chance of causing fire explosion in 3 block radius when aggressed
---------
T2 : Encandler
A slightly larger waxler, whose inner fire has grown so large that it's mouth can no longer stay shut. The Encandler's ward candle, having grown larger, provides a stronger effect, medium bonus damage vs. Undead. And is more likely to cause a fire explosion when aggressed. The aggressed Encandler also scatters for a lower duration than it's Waxler form. This form's orbic exterior also has adorable arm-nubbins for covering it's eyes when scattered. It attempts to replicate any emotes performed by it's Knight. The Encandler's behavior is more brave than Waxler and, while it will stay near its Knight, will often attempt to lead as often as it follows.
Abilities :
4 block radius Medium bonus damage vs. Undead
Good chance of causing fire explosion in 4 block radius when aggressed
Adorable arm-nubbin emote mimicry
---------
T3 : Pyrogeist
Having fully formed its nubby-body, the Pyrogeist's inner flame has become so large, that more of its head is open than closed. The Pyrogeist grows a second decorative mouth to placate the fragile sensibilities of its Knight. The ward candle on its head is much larger and now provides a High bonus damage vs. Undead status. The Pyrogeist now picks near targets to drop candlesplosions on. These candlesplosions have a high chance of starting fires on enemies. The Pyrogeist's dutiful nature has been slowly replaced with a jovial malevolence. Rushing into the middle of a combat situation unless heavily damaged, the Pyrogeist drops explosions at about half the rate of a bomb. This form expects the Knight to follow it into the fray with reckless abandon. The Pyrogeist also attempts to mimic player emotes.
Abilities :
5 block radius High bonus damage vs. Undead
High chance of causing fire in 5 block radius whenever it is near a target
Adorable nubby-body emote mimicry

Knight Name: Zopyros
Programs used: Photoshoop
Sprite Name: Kresnik
Heavy hitter / Area attacks
Rumored to be an ancient diety of fire and of the summer solstice, this ancient Battle Sprite hasn't seen action for eons. Thought to be the Almirian's equivalent of the modern Knight's Battle Sprites, this stone guardian was under research by the Geo Knights when a rookie decided to toss a Harness onto it for laughs. After the Knight was thoroughly reprimanded (and beaten to a pulp), the Geo Knights noticed that Kresnik had begun to move, albeit very slowly. For the time being, Kresnik is being put on duty diving into the Clockworks with Knights so the Geo Knights can observe his reawakening.
Tier 1:
Kresnik has just awoken from its millenia long slumber and is nowhere near it's full capabilities. In fact, it doesn't even look like it's bothered to open its eye yet. Despite his sleepy and sluggish demeanor, Kresnik is fully committed to his new duty of protecting his new wards. Just give him a moment to pull some of those vines out from his joints first...
Tier 2:
After getting acquainted with the Clockworks, Kresnik has finally started to regain his old luster and abilities. It still looks half asleep, though. Maybe a more vigorous challenge could get his blood flowing (so to speak) and really wake him up? Only time will tell as you delve further into the Clockworks to face greater dangers!
Tier 3:
OH VOG IT'S AWAKE. IT'S ON FIRE AND IT IS AWESOME.
The perils of Tier 3 have finally truly awakened Kresnik! Parts of his aged outer shell couldn't handle his reawakening, but it hasn't slowed him down much. Honestly, it's only served to make him faster and lighter as he strikes down your foes with the might of a raging volcano!
Attacks:
Stone Spinner-
The Geo Knights are theorizing that Kresnik previously didn't know how to do such an attack, only having learned through his constant interaction and fascination with the Snipes.
Power Straight-
The simplest of maneuvers, but undeniably effective. You do NOT want to be on the other end of that punch.
Volcanic Wrath-
Kresnik's most powerful and dangerous attack. A solid destructive blow to the ground, releasing shockwaves and volcanic magma everywhere in the vicinity. It takes quite a while for Kresnik to ready the move again, so use it sparingly!
IMPORTANT! THIS IS NOT MY ENTRY! It is someone else's that I am entering on their behalf.
SaffyBear couldn't get the forums to work with her SK account, so she asked me to submit her entry for her. I am the one who referred her to the contest, but any prizes should go to her.

Sprite (T1) in action carrying minerals - http://saffybear.deviantart.com/art/Gemlet-in-action-375081694
Bonus - http://saffybear.deviantart.com/art/What-do-little-dragons-do-in-their-s...
Overview
This small, mineral-loving dragon isn't fearsome in battle. His pale green scaly skin is really quite soft, so he avoids enemies as much as possible. Instead, he scurries around collecting coins and minerals for you (or maybe just for his personal hoard...)
Tier 1: Gemlet
Gemlet is small and vulnerable, with no wings, and can only aid your party by carrying an unclaimed Small mineral found in the level. When a Tier 1 Gemlet uses his flame on a Knight, it's a sign of affection and doesn't hurt - in fact, it rather tickles.
Tier 2: Gemchen
By Tier 2, your dragon has grown bigger, gained wing stubs, and can carry Medium and Large minerals. Gemchen will also collect coins on the field of battle when you are dead, although he will avoid going too close to monsters while he does so.
Tier 3: Gemdragon
Gemchen has grown into the big and strong Gemdragon, with huge fangs and spreading wings. He can carry a Shiny mineral on his back to the elevator, and loses some of his fear of monsters. If any enemy near you (excluding bosses) is on less than 10% health, Gemchen - sensing their imminent demise and eager for the gold he knows they might carry - will rush to headbutt them, knocking them over, and then use his fangs and flame to try to finish them off. Even in Tier 3, his flame does very weak damage, similar to that of the 2* Blaster, but his fangs do the same damage as an Ascended Calibur.
Lore
Although Gemchen appears lizardlike, he is of no relation to the chromalisks and kleptolisks that populate the Clockworks. This miniature dragon species roam the grassy surface of Cradle, passing their days chasing Silkwings, and their nights sleeping in a cave just below the surface where they have their hoard. As they are peaceful, shy creatures they previously avoided much contact with knights and were rarely seen. The Strangers found them lurking closer and closer to Haven as the amount of shinies in the Auction House increased, and after a few incidents of attempted theft discovered that they were friendly creatures that made good companions to Knights. In the wild, they will descend periodically into the Clockworks while searching for minerals, but seek only grassy, natural-feeling levels such as Wolver Dens and the Aurora Isles that remind them of their home on the surface. When travelling with a knight they have bonded to, these dragons will pass through Clockwork Tunnels and other mechanical areas, but remain uneasy and will not stay for long. Although they become stronger closer to the Core, only achieving their largest final form at the lowest depths, these dragons will always see their true home as on the surface, where the lack of danger means that any Gemlet can sleep happily even in their cutely compact form.

Sprite (T1) in action healing a Knight - http://saffybear.deviantart.com/art/Fluevo-healing-a-Knight-375096637
Overview
A phoenix-like sprite that has the ability to heal players with tongues of warming flames, and to set enemies aflame with waves of fire. In fire-themed levels the Fluego's fire status infliction becomes useless, but the Fluego grows vastly in power, with the ability to swoop down and peck at foes to do huge damage.
Tier 1: Fluevo
The tier 1 form of this Phoenix has not yet been reborn. It sits in a hovering egg and will occasionally extend tendrils of warming flames to heal a slight amount of the player's health.
Tier 2: Fluego
This newborn phoenix can create a haze of flames in a small area around it, to either heal knights or inflict fire on monsters found in the Clockworks.
Tier 3: Flincendio
The Flincendio has the ability to cast a wave of flames over a large area to either heal or hurt. In fire-themed levels, the monsters found are immune to the fire status. However, the fire present everywhere massively boosts its power, and it gains the offensive ability to swoop down from the sky for massive damage once every 30 seconds.
Lore
The Fluego was until recently believed to be legendary, but has been discovered in the fiery realms close to the core. It makes a noble companion for Knights, but is not as affectionate as a Gemchen.
Argh, this keeps not posting and it's past the deadline! Fingers crossed...

I'm contemplating whether I should put in different status-based lines of my Sprite. I already have all the stuff for that down, but then I realized that the normal Sprites deal only 1 status (Maskewraith deals poison, that dragon thing deals fire), instead of branching off into multiple statuses.
