An app for Andrpid and Apple.
The app should let you message friends, check your rank, and be able to craft items from on the go.
Please make the app for Apple IOS 4.2 for iPod 3 and up. So everyone can use it. :)

And this is where the war about java starts. T_T

There was a post with the same title and it failed so kill the thread.

It didn't "fail" any more or any less than any other suggestion.

Neither one got off the ground. Please don't suggest anything mobile-phone related until we get word from OOO just how hard or easy it would be to make them happen. Also try to use the search bar or google to find if your topic has been discussed already.

the main answer is that java does not work on android/apple.
That's not the main answer. Hell, that's not even accurate.
BTW, JAVA RUNS KN ALL DEVICES! Ever single device runce Java on the start-up, or anything so Java will work on an iPod Touch. Hope you guys are smart enough to notice that...

You have not advanced your position. Please stop.

Apple makes more than iPhones, iPods and iPads. They also make computers. I happen to be playing SK from one this very moment. See how java works on an apple thing?

[rephasing, please wait]
edited the post, thank you.
I am done arguing here. I didn't mean that in te app you could play full-on SK. That wouldn't work. Thts a different java and different OS requirements that portable devices DON'T HAVE. So I only meant you can see friends that are online, mabye craft a recipe if you already have the materials, and be able to mess with your Guild Chat, or change your Asernal.

Then we get into the argument about wether or not parts of the game like friend lists, the AH, or crafting actually need Java. We're not sure about that, and so far OOO hasn't told us.

I am actually quite sure about that, but feel free to carry on.

The nice thing about APIs is that if done correctly they can be used with any (within reason) programming language.

"BTW, JAVA RUNS KN ALL DEVICES! Ever single device runce Java on the start-up, or anything so Java will work on an iPod Touch. Hope you guys are smart enough to notice that..."
Uh-huh.
No, that is a false statement and your argument is therefore, invalid.

Sky I'm using iPad and I have java. Therefore, YOUR arguement is invalid.

Sky: Java does not run on everything
Hyiaku: I found one thing it runs on therefore you are wrong
¬.¬;

Of course it doesn't.
And since when did I mention an iPad? If my argument is invalid, it means you are agreeing that java runs on everything... So does that mean it can run on any apple products, including our real life things like our shoes? I don't think so. Some devices don't have java.

Of course you can't. That would require the game to be compatible with the operating system. Can you play PC games on a Mac? (without running windows on it of course)
@Sky: Of course it doesn't what?

Kilpik, are u talking about something with or without java? Because everything has bits of java, I'll explain that below.
Sky, no crap it doesn't run on food or clothes, but we talking about electronics, not your little plastic cars. Java is on many things like your mobile device and computer no matter what kind you have. It's just that some don't have the complete java set up., only parts of it. Apple does use java, I know that because all my computer stuff is apple. And in your post you put and I quote, so does that mean java runs on all apple products. the answer is yes.
Tohru, no I can't play SK on my iPad because I need to Download it, and you can only download music and apps. I swear that comment made me just smash my head against my desk. It's like asking if you can use spiral spy on this. Think about you question before you ask.

*coughcough*

Sorry, I'm not ready to share with anyone my maddness quite yet.

Plz tell me how to play it with wii remote. I wants to kno how it works.

Oatmonster, that was a little harsh.
I don't have problems with criticism, but a large GTFO with an exclamation point at the end is harsh.
This could be a better way to format it.
"Look up your suggestion on Google, and you may find similar topics that were turned down, so your thread may not be needed."
If that was a joke, then I apologize.
the main answer is that java does not work on smartphones. ergo, we require an API. OOO doesn't have time for this right now, so please try again. but not in this century, thank you.
