That's it, I can't RP anymore on this site.

You guys are just conjuring up stuff that others player didn't even say existed, assuming things without even discussing them on here, and posting "requests" on the RP thread.

It's fine if you guys remedy your mistake that you've made every now and then...

Except there's a lot of posts that just have too many logic breaks in it.

On top of that, none of you guys seem to really care or notice, and just "roll with it."

So, before I have to waste my time trying to hash things out while you bleed out on ahead, I'm just going to drop this.

Here's my recommendation: Either learn the BASIC rules of a free-form RP, or just don't do them at all. I think you guys do a lot better a roll-type RP, or even an interactive CYS. It's just that I can't just spare the time to point out every logic break, every mistake that you guys make.

My advice to Thin: Free-forms should be kept as freely flowing as possible. Slot characters are put into too large of a spectrum, so there is no medium in this game. The Underdogs, who should at least have some merit in the beginning of the game, are easily squashed while even a Commander hero can outdo them five times over. That's only a jump from one slot. So, I think you do need to lift the slot system, and then lay down the rules, and help them learn how to free-form. Otherwise, you'll never be able to "complete" an RP.

In general, I don't mind if anyone powerplays Ukai, but it can't be something huge. Only little stuff, like dialogue.

I think the problem is that this site (and game) holds a lot of people who are a little younger than most, and most likely unfamiliar to roleplay etiquette. From what I've seen, they tend to make things more complicated at points with enhancements to their characters that don't seem to have any drawbacks. This site isn't exactly the best place to roleplay, so there's gonna probably gonna be some problems with most attempted roleplays. I apologize if I seem like I'm generalizing or relying on stereotypes.

Ragequitting is hardly the solution. You'll notice that we've been paying attention to your advice lately:

*We're cracking down on power playing.
*Overpoweredness is limited (slot system)

Also note, however, that the only completed RP is the one that violated both of the above rules - Return to Cradle.

Frankly, the main purpose of these RPs is fun. It's the main reason we ignore minor breaks in logic, slightly overpowered characters, and such like to the extent that we do. As I explained to Ultimaknightz, if we have to choose between lore and story, choose story. RPing in general is similar: if we have to choose between consistency and fun, we'll choose fun. That's not to say that we are entirely faultless; we often ignore the posts of less well-known players with lesser-quality writing (though likely unintentionally) and reply only to the posts we like best. We all need to work on that.

If you're going to be blowing up over flaws in our RPs, I would recommend that you attempt to be moderator next time so you have more control over said flaws. It's easy to sit there, blow up, and do nothing. It's a lot harder to be a part of the solution. Don't take the easy way out.

So I have a great idea. The swarm's 'darkness' that comes into Nathaniel makes the balanced equation(Light=Darkness) unbalanced:(Light < Darkness) and Nathaniel struggles keeping control. Oh; and I'm going to school right about now. So I probably won't be posting until an hour after.

@Dmatter- Well, you can always put thoughts in italics, and actual speaking in quotations. And try not to use symbols like the "+" sign, or numbers. It's better to type it all out. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing your character in a battle!

Appearance: Black and Grey Personal Color Chaos Set, Black being primary color. His weapon is his own self. Since Necrons are an ancient race that have (probably) gone through many evolutions before their destruction, Quexi is in the most early form, looking like a human but diamonds imbued into his skin. Athena was close to Nathaniel when he exploded Haven, so I expect her to have injuries. And you can put Athena just coming into that alley and seeing Nate with Feron, Winter, and Tenebris. So you can write about how Athena tries to convince them to kill Nate, I guess. :P

Quexi has Mind Capabilities, AKA He can communicate with people via dreams and/or give them visions or words mentally. He will have complete control of the dream, but not the other person's(s') mind(s). If need be, he can link a gathering's dreams together, but not talk/vision to all of them via mind. And he can only communicate within a quarter-mile radius.

I just pictured the natural armor as being sufficient, especially if you've seen the pics from my app. But I guess some of the Haven-dwelling ones could have adopted the customs. Not necessarily. In most stories, yes, the villains seem to wait for the heroes, but that's kind of silly, so we won't be doing that. I'm already devising the Master's next plan, independent of what the heroes are doing. Axis should probably start doing the same. Remember, as the Master's most reliable commander, he needs to take the initiative, not sit and wait for stuff to happen.

EDIT: Also, Axis still has standing orders to meet the Master in the Unknown Passage. You seem to have forgotten about them. :P

I thought Ultima specified he had both a Holy Light and a Chaos spirit-thing within him, thus explaining the giant sphere of chaos energy that caused some of the explosion earlier.

Moving on. Immortous is right about two things. Yes, Nathaniel has Holy Light in him, but he also has Chaos in him as well. You should have wrote about how you sensed something evil as well in Nathaniel. Oh; and by the way, Nathaniel is not a Holy Light angel. He is a human who was born in a soul worthy of both Holy Light and Chaos. However, the power-playing you did was alright, I guess. Just inform me next time when you want to powerplay, okay? :)

In my most recent story post, the Master demonstrated a means of controlling a knight via Swarm without replacing the knight's sentience. The Swarm infection is not visually detectable, and the knight's normal behaviors and thoughts are uninterrupted until a commander takes control.

In other words, the Master created a sleeper agent.
