Guns in stands on display. Swords over the mantelpiece. People like to display their weapons (even if they are fake :P).
We already have this in the form of knight stands- a shield and a sword together, representing specific ranks. Lovely gold and blue.
Let's have some more - like all items. Stands for swords, shields, bombs, guns, armors, and helms - separate.
A full armor/helm would look kind of like a statue, but be a bit different, crafting-wise.
This would be a great way to furnish halls that are either sparse, or chaotically clogged with mismatched themes.
These would match any theme, or encourage a certain theme if you display, say, only poison weapons. There's lots of possibilities.
On a side note, it would also help use up materials that people put in the treasury by accident (like miracloths....). It's a pity we can't fix the treasury problem - I've talked to support, not even they can withdraw from the treasury as it is, which is a bummer.
Yes, people could easily just cram their gh full of silly little stands. But that's the guild's choice. A guild could also grace their hall with Divine Avengers, Nitronomes, electron vortex... and just be epic about it.
Here's how it could work -
Some items have particle/animation effects. These would be seen on the furniture representation of them as well. Oozing drivers and vibrating fausts, fragments of paper around sealed swords...ever-restless spectral Cold Iron Vanquisher chains...yes please.
This would make some items, like the Divine Avenger, behave like a lamp.
Stand - standard off-gold and black trophy base.
Swords - vertical, kind of floating softly, like the Jelly Gem.
Bombs- kind of floating softly, like the Jelly Gem.
Guns - sideways, kind of floating softly, like the Jelly Gem. Trigger on bottom.
Helmets - floating.
Armors - floating.
Combinations/fusions (armor/helm): floating
Rotatable: yes.
Note: personal color on relevant items will show up as white.
Option to combine armor/helm in armero machine: you can do this with any helm/armor, so you can get combinations like demo helm/volcanic plate mail and so on. Not limited to the set. Perhaps these could be broken apart and put together at the machine, allowing different combinations of the same items to be displayed over time. ID issues?
Edit:
For guild hall item stands, there should be a "blueprint," a kind of recipe, that is applicable only to guild halls (but can be sold depending on how you get it).
Item Stands can only be obtained with the Armero Alchemy Machine (as they are essentially trophies made with materials).
An option at the Armero Machine will allow you to convert any recipe - learned, basil bought, or HoH, into a blueprint, for free (considering the initial purchase price). After converting, you may deposit the blueprint into the treasury (either at the console or the machine) OR sell it on the AH - however, if the recipe was bound or learned, the blueprint can only be given to treasury, not traded or AHed. This is so people attempting to put recipes into STORAGE to help other guildies can't accidentally put them into the treasury, as the treasury only accepts blueprints, and might simplify the internal ID system.
A blueprint will mimic the crafting demands of a recipe, minus any alchemy orbs as well as the preceeding item (imo, the fact that trophies consume four of the previous furniture is depressing), and deposit the furniture directly into the guild treasury when crafted. The blueprint will expire with one use.
Other blueprints for un-craftable items would be obtained in special ways, depending on their source, and be a bit revealing as to the composition of these "un-craftable" items:
All blueprints have the same star-pricing as recipes (so 25,000 for 5*).
-Promotional or limited package items such as cleavers and static flash: the birdsong emporium will have a special blueprint list for these items (at all times), and they go straight into the guild treasury, like BE furniture, when purchased. They could go on discount during the relevant promotions.
-DLC such as OCH: in the party lobby of the mission, the relevant NPC (so far, Vise) will sell blueprints for the items.
-Token Items: brinks could sell blueprints for half the number of tokens as the actual item.
-Sanctuary: the machine could have blueprints for shadow lair items, in exchange for 25000 crowns each.
-Proto Armor: birdsong emporium.
-Costumes: during a promo, BE could sell blueprints, or, as with the promotional usable items, just have blueprints all the time, that go on sale during the relevant promo. Because this is for halls only, not for flaunting in public.
-Oddities such as the Black Kat Cowl: a relevant NPC will supply the blueprint (like Montague for the Cowl), for either crowns or tokens.
Blueprints for accessories and Amero Machine fusion - could get complicated. But this would allow a knight to basically make a statue of themselves. Perhaps allow personal color to be applied specially to fusions. Something to think about.
What would the blueprint for a fang of vog look like, material-demand...? Food for thought.
This would be within reasonable cost range, furniture-wise. For most item stands: Recipe cost, material cost, and raw crafting fee - for a 1x1 furniture. Very doable.
This could probably throw the basil-only recipe market into something unpleasant...

Battle Sprites
These are like, intelligent weapons. But they don't belong on a stand. We could have some Wandering Sprites for the hall - various different kinds of sprites in different stages that are no good for battle due to some programming error, or glitch. However, they're still great for being adorable! (Spiral HQ would never allow a fully functional sprite to go to cosmetic waste, now would they >,..,> lol).
Again, personal color on GH sprites would appear as white. ID issues with level 100 forms - perhaps these need to be named. Though, what are the odds of a glitch occurring in a lvl 100 form?
These would include the unformed battle sprites - the lil pod things with glowing eyes - as well.
They would be on sale from the BE or Spiral HQ, and not have associated blueprints.

I would use the electron vortex as a lamp way too much. The eye on that bomb would be so cool in a spooky environment.
Thoughts?
While I am beginning to feel like a yes-man here... I really like this one too.
