Now, I'm preeeeetty sure that you already know what this thread is about, and before clicking your browsers back button and looking at other threads, give me your support.
Okay so, as most of you already know, after the first patch of the great "Arcade Redux", rarities have been shifted down -1. Which means Radiant Fire Crystals can only be found in D28 (If you're extremely lucky), and the non-existent Stratum 7.
Am I the only one, to where I see "The server will reboot in 90 minutes. The game is being updated" that I hope with all of my dreams and desires they're finally fixing this bug, only to get my hopes denied to see that they are making Apocrea ever harder, or removing our precious Slooms.
Patch, after patch, after patch, they are reluctant to fix this glitch. And I'm pretty darn sure CM's, GM's, and Devs roam the forums, and I don't know if they ignore these threads, or what they're doing about it. But it needs to be done now.
So, here's what I say: I'll buy you all airline tickets to CA, we find OOO's and force them to fix this monstrosity of a glitch! WHO'S WITH ME!!!!!
Of course, I am joking. I would never do anything to the producers of my favorite MMO :)
However, this needs to stop. I am creating this thread, in hopes it will be the Radiant Crystals thread to end all Radiant Crystals threads. Now I don't want this to be a discussion thread like this (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/91818). I just want you to drop me a +1, and how upset you are that you can't heat your new cool-looking Obsidian weapons, or whatever else you have.
Let this be our message to OOO. We want our Radiant Crystals back!

Yey, another roodiant crystul thread!
I'm fairly certain that this switch was made so that players would be able to upgrade the 4* weps needed for the new obsidian gear(as others have stated). Now if the apocrea mission ends and the rates aren't adjusted or a statement isn't issued its time to actually start worrying. It is a little odd how there has been no communication with us up to this point though. Ignoring your audience is almost never a good idea.

Im with you on this, as I have stated in a few threads. I just suspect the shinings are here for the duration of the event, and after the event is done everything will be normal again. The radiant drought only appeared with apocrea so it isnt unreasonable to think they are linked.
Now for OOOs take on silence, I think it is fear out of what they might say. Before Nick has said once that he figured the iron slug needed a buff an after that people think that is a sign for a change to it. Everytime they post it seems people take those words for promises and as such they have to be very careful with what they say. Saying nothing is bad but saying something the majority dislikes is worse.

Actually a shortage just means there's less supply than demand. So obviously we could fix this shortage ourselves if we would just stop being so greedy and vendored all our 5 star weapons.
Like seriously, we can't just keep tearing radiant crystals out of the ground like they're a renewable resource or something. #savetheplanet #stopglobalwarming #putthecrystalsback

I think we are all up in arms a little too quickly here. Yes, I'm frustrated that my Radiant Crystal intake has stopped, but there is a major overhaul going on in the arcade. I just think we should wait a little longer and see what the next installment has in store for us. Not addressing the issue at all is a mistake, but it's pretty well known that the arcade is going to change soon, and the issue could already be being resolved.

Assuming no level skips and using max amount of crystals each time, you have to spend 6342CE to heat a 5* item from level one. Now tell us to buy from the depot.
Don't get too excited mate. It might just be a bio-tech promotion, where you now get to wear green biotech uniform like the ones Hahn and Morlin are wearing. No primsmatic included. The prize box will be coloured green, it comes with the standard Bio tech costume and has a chance of dropping the green visor that Hahn has. And there is a 10% chance of dropping the unique costume helmet Morlin is wearing. So there, more pointless promotions.
