4x boss tokens

Just wondering if anyone has gotten 4x boss tokens solo before? 4x boss token. Has anyone done research on this boss drop mechanic? NOTE: Picture taken after going down so sorry if you do not believe me.

I have multiple times whenever I visit the royal jelly for my toast.
I also believe it is completely random as to when it gives 4x. I like to believe that boss was feeling generous as to every time 4x tokens appear.

IDK but a lot of time I do it fast I get 4 tokens. Normal grant me more 4X tokens than Eliite (Speed-rushing Norm FSC under 30 mins give more payout) We tested a lot of speed-run scenario on Norm and Elite and I must say, Normal takes really less time than on Elite (for vana boss) and we got a lot of times 4X tokens, sera + maskeraith combo on Vana normal with all Max Blitz is amaaaazing!!!!
Oddly enough some people don't get 4 tokens and others do... Maybe it has to do with DMG/speed ratio on how fast you kill him and how much % dmg you did during that period of time...

As far as I know, its completely random.
For FSC runs, you can only get the 'bonus' token if you've started from the lobby (or perhaps d24 - im not 100% sure). You will get 3 tokens if you've started on d25, 2 if you started on d26, and 1 if you started on d27.
If everyone started from the lobby, and the 'bonus token' flag is active, then everyone will get the bonus token (i.e. 4). However, someone who joined on say d26 will only get 2, even if the others get 4, so the bonus only counts for full runs. This is applied regardless of dmg or time. I've done a really slow shiv/blitz duo (before sprites) and still gotten the bonus.
This applies for all the other boss runs. Not sure how it works from the Arcade PoV, since I rarely do boss runs through there.

Likewise, the only factor I can come up with is that you have to be in the run for at least 5 floors. I'm not sure if joining at d24 (mid-run) works, but it definitely will not happen if you join at d25.
Works the same way for Arcade, btw.

It's a straight random chance. There was even a period (after they first implemented the party&token restrictions) where you could possibly receive x5 tokens.

I do not know about the x5 tokens, but the bonus adds for everyone.
So where normally you would receive 1 token for joining late, you get 2, while others who started all the way gets 4 and so forth.
And it's a completely random chance, more like luck than killing bosses under certain times.

There is no perfect random generation yet and everything can be broken down. Maths is more powerful than you think... The best RNG uses weather, geological location and a whole other bunch of natural phenomenon put into numeric data to generate "close to perfect" randomization.

Joining mid 24 works but I have seen instance of people havng 3 tokens when others had 4. Obviously we all runs vana but when you do twice as much as people normally do (Norm speed-run vana takes 20 minutes but gets 2k cr so you gotta find a good spot) more instances happens.. Whenever it happens we ask on why and sometimes we can't even come with a solution on why I got 3 and everybody else got 4. This happened a lot more than you would think... I also had 4 tokens when leaving at each depth to heat stuff.
4x boss tokens are just rare little goodies that, as far as I know, aren't affected by anything. They seem to be pre-determined.
