Helloooo world! How are the people of the internets today?
The Arsenal Podcast is having a discussion soon about our "pet peeves" in Spiral Knights, and we were wondering if you had any yourself!
By pet peeves, we mean those things that annoy you that might or might not annoy everyone. They are your unique irritations.
For example, something that bugs me personally are destructible blocks that completely block my path. They don't make me rage, but they are a mild annoyance for a bomber like me who has to then charge and wait for the detonation of a bomb to continue.
What are your pet peeves in Spiral Knights? Community… game mechanics… PvP? Be specific!
Disclaimers!
- NO, this will not become a discussion about our utter hatred against SK. The game is good and has a lot of potential, but we know there are some tickles that bother people, and that's what we're curious to find out. At the same time, we still respect this game and its developers completely. Any direct stabs or threats at the game or its developers will be ignored (and potentially reported).
- NO, this thread is not Compound 42! Let's keep the flaming and toxicity to a minimum please! ;)
- NO, we will not answer your pet peeves on this thread--we'll do so on the podcast.
- YES, we will read every post made on this thread.
- YES, we will credit you if we discuss your idea.
- YES, by posting on this thread, you acknowledge that your idea may be discussed, agreed upon, or disagreed upon on the Arsenal Podcast.
- YES, we will publicly shame you on the podcast if you go overboard with this. Please be mature and keep any possible arguing to a minimum (I know, sounds impossible right?).
What do you got?
Well there are a couple of things that I find mildly annoying. I guess it can't be helped:
Whenever someone in Lockdown complains about people not capping. More often than not, I find that these people are the ones that end up with a low amount of captures or any noteworthy contribution to the team. I suppose this one annoys me because my main goal in Lockdown is to capture and keep points defended.
Scuttlebots. As someone who mainly uses swords, these things are a pain to hit. Maybe I should find a different technique for them? Maybe... It's slightly annoying (and possibly humiliating) to get killed by one of them. Other people probably find this enemy really easy to kill but for some reason I dislike this guy way more than any Fiend.
*Sir-Greenlink is still calm* Deep breaths, everyone. Deep breaths.
