This land is called the Redundancy. It is a standard continent with grass, water, a castle, mountains, and trees. The grand kingdom of Everfell has established its rule in this continuent and promises peace and prosperity for years to come!
Until now, big surprise.
The king of Everfell has received dire news. The ruler of the north continent: Sarfram has sent a letter; a warning that the days to come will be dark as they come to conquer them. The king has reached a decision.

He will send one person to go stop this threat. Maybe two. There’s a slight chance for even three. You are in control of these heroes. Will you be able to stop the impending darkness quickly, or will you grind for hours before you do?

Welcome to my new ‘experimental’ forum game: Agent Flint’s Generic RPG. It’s different from traditional RPGs in the sense that it’s well… different. You’ll see. Here is the basic content of this game.
-The game starts with two characters. Up to six more join the party as the game progresses. You can control one of these characters at a time and switch to different characters during checkpoints.
-Oh, and you have no control over what these characters say or think.
-There’s no mana. Mana is replaced with a new system called Charge.
-Don’t expect a 9/10 for story. It is probably rather ridiculous.
-Everyone has some terrible names. Once you see them you’ll know.

After you read the rules, come have a look at these Game Modifiers. Pick two of them which will probably affect the game permanently. Or maybe just the chapter.
Vote… without a poll.
Faster Fights: Make battles go faster! ALL damage is doubled.
Faster Grinding: Make grinding easier! Experience is increased by 50%.
Disable Grinding: Experience gain is disabled. Characters will never level up, but neither will enemies.
Better Names: All of the characters get better names.
Codex: Become smarter. Damage formulas for skills and the defense stat are revealed.

Also, pick a character to play as.
♂️1 - Standard melee class with a good old fashioned sword. Appears in Chapter 1-1.
♀️2 - Balanced magic class with a variety of spells. Appears in Chapter 1-1.
♂️3 - Fast melee class with speed and stealth. Appears in Chapter 1-3.

Remember, don't shoot food.

Not sure how I feel about not being able to control the characters at all outside of battle, but I guess I'll try it out.

Going for character 2 because magic.

And I vote for Codex and Faster Grinding.

Hello Darkness, my Old Friend.

Don't worry, you can control -some- things that they do and say.
Like examine things, make decisions, and pick conversation choices.

Btw. Someone should probably choose 1st Guy. You can switch characters when you feel like it. In fact you can switch right after you do the tutorial.
Unless Delecated decides to be first guy. That works too .

Alright. Everything sounds interesting enough.

Indeed, I shall play as 1st Guy.

I as well vote for Codex and Faster Grinding.

Agent

(For the the tutorial you can't do anything for now Crazee-Pi, but you'll get to play soon.)

The knight assigned by the king of Everfell has arrived in the throne room. He is ready for the duty he is given.

?????: Agent Goodman at your service, your majesty.
King: Is that your name?
Agent: ...yes.
King: And your parents named you Agent?
Agent: Yes. Did your parents name you King?
Advisor: Your majesty! We can't afford to waste time with pointless banter.
King: Right then. Agent! You must stop the evils of Sarfram from reaching out peaceful kingdom and burning it down to the ground. My advisor will tell you what to do.
Agent: As you wish, your majesty.
King: Good, now get outta here.
-Agent and Advisor leave the throne room-
Advisor: Okay, you must find the Witch's apprentice, aptly named Apprentice. She will be able to take you to the port town and you can take a boat to Sarfram from there. Do you have any questions?
>"I'm going to the evil kingdom already?"
>"Did your parents name you advisor?"
>"What exactly am I supposed to do after I arrive?"
>"Nope."

Wait a second, Goodman is the name of the hero, generic, intentionally cheesy story, names that describe people instead of being actual names...

Is this some sort of Goodman and the Adventures of Genericism reboot?

Agent

This has nothing to do with your Goodman character. The names are just terrible.

Agent: I'm going to the evil kingdom already?
Advisor: Yeah, and?
Agent: I'm level one! Shouldn't I... Yunno... Get some exp?
Advisor: You're the hero from the prophecy. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Agent: Did your parents name you Advisor?
Advisor: Yep.
Agent: Oh.

Agent: What exactly am I supposed to do after I arrive?
Advisor: Kill all the bad guys.
Advisor: Alright, that's enough questions, get going.

Who will Agent talk to now?

Agent finds the Apprentice outside the Witch's house.

Agent: Hey, are you apprentice?
Apprentice: Yes. Do you need something?
Agent: Yeah, I heard you can take me to Port Town. I gotta-
Apprentice: I can't right now. Witch has been missing and I need her help to do things!
Agent: Alright, fine. I'll go look for Witch.

Agent starts to walk away into the nearby forest but Apprentice stops him.

Apprentice: Hey wait!
Agent: What?
Apprentice: There's a giant spider in Witch's house. Can you uhh... get rid of it?
Agent: Shouldn't you have a broom for that?
Apprentice: The broom... is in the house...
Agent: Okay. I'll go kill the spider for you.
Apprentice: Oh! Thank you!

Agent enters the Witch's house. There are unlit candles, so it's dark. A skittering sound is heard.
Agent: Oh.
A giant spider appears in front of Agent. It's bigger than average.

- After some researching, Wolf-Ifs are spelt with an L, not an i. I like spelling it with an I better though and will continue to spell it that way.
- Woof-Ifs can appear with Sombreros, giving a +5 to cuteness. It also seems that it gives a small defense boost. Luckily, these Sombreros can easily be knocked off. It is unknown if they can appear with different hats.
- A level 1 Woof-If, assuming Sombrero Woof-Ifs have the same health as regular Woof-Ifs, have at least 24 health.
- A level 2 Woof-If has at least 18 health, with a 25 health maximum. Considering the least amount of health regular Woof-Ifs have (assuming Sombrero Woof-Ifs have the same max health), it is can be assumed that their health is 25. This would mean that level 1 Woof-Ifs have either 24 or 25 health.
- Wolf-Ifs attacks consist of regular biting and Sight, which lowers the target's defense.

And that is all I know.
