Each single piece of Rose has a ~16.6% chance of being acquired in their respective packs. Shadow wing, however, have only a 3% chance. So it's ~5.5x less of a chance to get shadow wings that any certain Rose item. So we'll go ahead and slash the 50k price by a factor of 5.5. We get ~9k.
Was 9k ce the high mark for certain Rose items on release?
( Mind you, I'm not taking into consideration that Rose items were for the most part static, while wings are pretty active and even have special effects. That would further drive up the price if some guy desperately wanted them. )

I found it interesting that he managed to sell a pair for such an amount, and yes, I am impressed.
