The word "Mission" to access the missions at the top of the screen is not a favorite of mine.

One can access missions in one of the buttons on the top left of the screen's GUI as well.

While I can see "Missions" menu in the center top of the screen being a benefit to new and under-experienced players; Is there a way, or can 000 add an option in the GUI menu to turn this off so the Mission menu won't be in the top center of the screen?

Its hard enough in this game to shoot from the top of the screen, down to the bottom. I can just see myself shooting up to the top of the screen at zombies in FSC or something and clicking that menu during a crucial moment.

Thank you.

The Missions button

The Missions button disappears while in the mission/Clockworks, to be replaced by the vial menu. Pressing Q while in the dungeon also locks your HUD.

Indeed

I understand the HUD lock. I reckon it would lock the Mission menu.

I just don't want to see it up there during normal clockwork runs, or does it go away while in normal runs? An option to disable it at the top, center of the screen so as to use it through the other button (events button?) on the top left would be nice.

Like I said, it goes away

Like I said, it goes away whenever you are in an area where you can engage enemies, such as during missions and inside gates. That area of the screen reverts back to the vial/pill inventory.

Yeah...

The big Missions button bothered me too, it isn't as polished as the other buttons, but I imagine I'd get over it in time.

It would be nice if the button was off to the right, next to Lockdown when in Haven. And if it was just an icon instead of text. And if it changed color if there was a mission waiting for your to perform or if you were currently in a mission. Yup.

Related, I accidentally restarted a mission. I was in the middle of a mission then pressed M to read the briefing again. (By the way, it should default to your current mission, had to click on the mission to view the current briefing.) But then instead of closing the mission dialog I clicked Start and ended up back in the Mission Lobby. Derp. An "Are you sure you want to leave?" prompt might be handy... or something. It just seems like a weird interaction, like an unintended flow.

More importantly, Toggle Missions gets a new hotkey but Toggle Gate Map doesn't? ._.
