Presenting, the new F2P Hammer! It's just like the WRH except it does pure Normal damage, and is obtained from a new boss named Why So Seerus, Seerus' younger brother.
It looks like this.
Alternatively, it could be a Boss Token reward for defeating Vanaduck inside Quackstorm Citadel.
What do you think? Clearly there is no better idea since sliced bread.

In all seriousness? I'm 50/50. Normal type guarantees it'd be weaker than the p2p version so OCH buyers don't feel robbed and it would give everyone a chance to play with a unique and very fun weapon, while also making it useful against the Gremlins and Beasts.
However, they made an interesting (and imo, good) choice for their first/only p2p weapons by making them "unique" and interesting/new, rather than just "totally strong and OP", and by releasing a freely accessible version of it you're taking away much of that element from those who did pay to get their unique weapon.
Although I'm aware that logic is somewhat flawed by the fact that the hammer is pretty crazy, but it's the "unique" thing that makes it good for a p2p weapon. The last thing we need is all the same weapons being freely available and encouraging the notion that p2p weapons need to just be stronger to make it worth the cash. We don't need a super-teethpick for the next p2p weapon, for example; we want more odd and unique weapons.
Although it wouldnae hurt to tone down the Hammer a bit, I accept.
I think that there could be an even better implementation of this idea.
Just make the already CE buyable expansion in Asian server... buyable here with CE!
Why not make also a Normal damage Dark Retribution? To shred every single enemy without exception~
@Aumir, The regular DR barely shreds jellies (excluding the Royal Jelly), and it's strong against them. A normal damage DR would be just as useless as the Deadly Shard Bomb.

April Fool's boss mission reward, anyone?
I seem to remember that RotMG got the Anatidae Staff, or something named along those lines, as well as the Chicken Leg dagger of doom. I see no reason why we can't get gag weapons as well... other than maybe people moaning about the fact that they couldn't get one because of whatever reason.

@Aureate: Ah, yes, the Anatis Staff sends out floating ducks around the place, and the chicken leg fired out...well, chicken legs. We need more gag weapons, definitely.
This needs to get in game so badly. you have no idea how often I find myself feeling the urge to beat some random player with a rubber chicken, but then realize that I do not have a rubber chicken to beat them with.
And also, anybody remember this old thread? http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/59634 This would be a mighty fine gag weapon as well.

Overlap two Dark Rets' radii to form a Venn diagram and kite Jellies through.
They shred Jellies all right. They shred Jellies real good, especially big Lichen Colonies. Also a good bomb for Battlepods, and for Constructs, especially Lumbers. They may have been nerfed, but that doesn't automatically make them useless. The constant damage would make a Normal DR a BEAST against Greavers; the DR already interrupts them as it is, and if it does viable damage in the process, you can kiss those Greavers good-bye.
I don't see why we need to hit people with chickens when my loaf of sliced bread is doing the job just fine.
