Remove the damage on the initial swing for sword charge attacks. There is no reason you should be able to do 600 damage on one swing.

Edit: This is directed at the Brandish, Sealed Sword, and Snarble Barb lines.

Brandish and Sealed lines deserve this.

Sealed charge attacks could be changed to have more "realistic" sword charge attacks instead of whatever Nick considers swords to be.

"They do a combination of what guns and bombs do". You know what hybrid characteristics mean? Lower damage. You get the advantage of two distinctly different camps so you lose out a major factor which everyone is grabbing for. Want something that deals the highest damage? Make it close range, slow, and with low area of effect. It can be a sword. Guns have range, bombs have area of effect, swords have high close range damage. Everyone has something to boast about. Want to have occasional unorthodoxes? A sword with range, a gun with area of effect, and a bomb with high close range damage? Or how about the other way? A sword with area of effect, a gun with high close range damage, and a bomb with range. Alright. You know what? Yeah. Give people some variety. But those unorthodox weapons should have less damage than normal weapons of their type since they have the advantage of another weapon type without being part of that weapon type. That is, if the entire triangle was balanced and equal. Whoever was in charged of balancing equipment in this game needs to be dug out of their grave, brushed off, and whipped a few times to do their job.

Bad idea bro. The damage from the initial attack of a charge is because you are actually swinging the sword. It's total bs to remove the damage if the sword is actually hitting something.

Lui, as for the whole sealed sword thing, their charge is meant to be unique. Not gonna support something that's already widely accepted.

WHB its not that useless. in fact i like the WHB with the charged attack can interrupt enemy attack. i invite you to try it with a electron/graviton vortex and use the charged attack when you have a bunch of enemies in the vortex. thats a pretty nice combo to use with the WHB. now that it need a bit of buff that blade i wouldnt mind that.

@Terra-Necro If you want to use logic, then ok, it should deal damage, but as much as a regular swing, not 2 times better.

@Terra-Necro, So if a sword hit something, it should do damage, and when it doesn't hit something, it should also do damage? You know, when the sword model doesn't need to touch the enemy's model for a hit to occur?

Also, mist bombs.

The WHB charge is decent, until you compare it to something like the Combuster.
