It's kind of sad I have to emphasize this but...PLEASE...do not put stuff on this thread that you would be embarrassed to show in front of a family reunion. You will be permanently eliminated from the experiment/contest if you do not comply with this completely reasonable expectation.

I think there are a couple of reasons. Someone might post with an alternate account rather than their main. To help save the hassle of trading any winnings over to the main, they can provide the IGN that they want the prize sent to. The other reason I can think of is the person has two or three knights on their account, and they are not using their main knight's name as their forum name. Once again, for the sake of convinence, the person can direct which knight he or she would prefer any prizes be sent.

Some additional details I have overlooked

The event is over when the thread becomes inactive for 2 days (48 hours). The last person who posted would then receive the prize.
Obviously my posts don't count (both for the timer and for the prize). You can post multiple times, but try not to spam (it won't improve your chances anyways).
To make things fun, feel free to talk about stuff instead of just making a random post for the heck of it.
