Reduce ME max or Crown drops or both.

If you think about it, 100 ME is enough to do 1.5 tier runs, since you only use 10 energy per elevator and can still have 10 ME left over after doing 9 floors, provided you don't mess up. What this does is this gives people a lot of crowns, especially if, say, they do tier 2 or 3 repeatedly. By reducing ME to, let's say, 70, you could have less tier runs before running out of ME. For OOO, this means that those who want to do continuous runs would also have to spend for more CE. For players, this means less tier runs, less crown influx in the economy and therefore, cheaper CE prices.

The alternate solution is to reduce crown drops. Since most people are tier 2 players, and the average tier 2 run produces 5k crowns, energy price would plateau off to roughly 5k. If the crown drop algorithm drops less crowns in tier 2, then this plateau would also be lowered, making CE prices cheaper.

I just think this is a good idea. :D

Idiot, dual economy needs to

Idiot, dual economy needs to start out somewhere profitable so that F2P players can grab the crowns for the P2P players. And you think that's going to make CE cheaper? No it would certainly mean people are not going to even play the game to get that CE due to the oppressive limits people like you put on them. I buy CE sometimes for certain items, but I don't see how 100 Energy even lasts from tier 2 all the way to jelly king ( One of the most profitable runs atm )

Learn where the economy starts and where people get their profit from, this economy of ours already is starting to downfall, what else do you want.

:)

@grinningCat: less tier runs, less crown influx in the economy and therefore, cheaper CE prices.

Jumping to conclusions. Less ME would also mean you need CE sooner, which increases demand for CE, which drives the price up. ;)

Which force is greater is very hard to oversee.

Better idea, throw out crowns

Better idea, throw out crowns and CE all together, have the game make a charge to your credit card everytime you want to buy something, use an elevator or craft. Just take out the middle man all together.

The Simple Way

Paska's idea is the most simple way to resolve the issue. Upvoted.

yes it can. If you start at

yes it can. If you start at moorcroft manor, you only use 10 per elevator. jelly king is at the bottom of tier 2, so you still use 60 energy.

You can also be self sufficient starting tier 1.

You don't get it do

You don't get it do you?

You're completely removing that difference that could make the new players some tiny profit. This is going to make one side of our double fed economy to fall.

Some of us are already starting to forget using crowns and trade CE.
