Rumors have been spreading that the Core is going out. Lower energy output and itself glowing dimmer each passing day contribute to the beliefs, yet the Geo Knights studying it can neither confirm nor deny it as a fact. Despite this, Lieutenants Vaelyn and Barrus has requested three teams to journey to the Core and, if necessary, bring life back to it before Cradle dies.

Seemingly a simple task, Vaelyn has detected traces of Dark Matter within the Core. On top of that, Spiral HQ has been receiving reports of two strange beings on the surface, slaughtering anything they come across as the make a beeline towards Haven.

Dark Core is gonna be a Co-op FanFic hosted by yours truly. I'm accepting Apps for the following:

Name: Genevra
Rank/Title: Dark Mutation Guard
Species: Immoral Devilite

Gender: Female
Appearance: Has 2 dark wings where it arms where, it's legs are replaced by claws and tail is extended with sharp spikes at the end. The entire body is purple with dark lines all over the body. Eyes have eyelashes but the color is pure blue. At the tip of the claws are sharp spikes at the end.
Gear: Since she can't hold onto items, here are the attacks. Defense is the same as Snarbolax set.
Wing slash: Fly's towards the foe and slashes them with her claws.
Claw slash: Similar to Wing Slash but uses her claws. More damaging but if it misses, easier to attack her.

Personality: Silent, is unable to talk, likes to mess with anyone's minds, is known to be crazy and struggles to sleep.
Bio: Genevra was like any other Devilite, working hard, eating Dark Matter and trying to stop the mean gremlins from messing with knights or devilites. However, one day when the gremlin's attacked, Genevra got caught and fainted due to a tough battle. When she woke up, she was being experimented on by scientist gremlins.

The gremlin's experiments mutated Genevra which made weird mutations happen. The gremlins muttered to themselves when her arms changed into wings, her tail grew much longer and the thing that was most surprising was the fact her voice was gone. However, due to much experimenting, her body died and her soul was outside her body. Just then though, she got a request from an unknown source called "Dark Matter Lord" and said "I can revive you so you and your body is alive but, you need to work for me! Do we have a deal?"

Genevra's soul nodded up and down to agree and her soul entered her body again and woke up. The darkness inside her from agreeing to the unknown source was so strong that Genevra broke out of her prison and she killed the gremlins that experimented on her. Genevra then flew to the location of the creature and worked for it ever since then

Special Ability: Oblivion Pulse - If Genevra eats enough Dark Matter and is attacked by anyone, she will release a pure dark pulse that deals immense damage to anyone even if they have shadow defense. Anyone who is hurt by this attack, Genevra recovers 75% health from the damage that was dealt. Requires 80 Dark Matter eaten and 1 hit by a foe to activate. Cooldown of 1 minute.

Appearance: Stocky, Well built, a few scars dot his body, namely one running the length of his left cheek, hair is slicked back, spiky and short.

Gear: Avenger, Faust and Monolith*, , Armor is a modified set of Heavy Demo Armor, trading in it's bonuses and some of it's normal resistances, for an equal resistance to all elements, Traits are shared with his shield, which is designated as the 'Mighty Glacier' set. Do what you will with what it looks like, Has a heavy country accent, but this hides a good deal of intelligence.

About: Dervenin is known as a traitor, and has severed all connections with the Spiral Order to pursue his own agenda, and a few years later, he was discovered assisting gremlin forces in many of their deployments, such as repelling knights and speeding up deconstruction of levels, whilst also assisting knight parties, usually appearing out of no where and for no reason. No one knows what his goal is, but the fact that he is a traitor and that he still successfully resists attempts to bring him in, mark him as a high priority target. He tends to seen in emberlight, assisting in any way he can, and as a vendor selling things he has obtained over his travels.

Personality: Stubborn, Reasonable, Hopeful, Friendly enemy, Inspiring/Terrifying, Mellow, Loathing (The Spiral Order/Tikinzar and the Crimson Order's chains of command, he sees the two factions only as a careless bunch of monkeys, all too willing to send their soldiers to an inevitible demise, and as such intervenes in an attempt to minimise slaughter (We butcher them 5 to 1 ingame) he does not hate the footsoldier, only the general)

Special Ability: Dervenin bound his soul to his Avenger, allowing him to utilise abilities tied to it, such as morphing the sword into alternate heavy weapons, and flinging around the silhouette blades that line is known for, whislt a secondary bonus is that it essentially is a Lock Circut. Power increases as hope rises, in himself and his fellows.

Role: Although this is up to you, I'd prefer if he was a third party in the story, that assists/hinders groups A and C, whilst purely hindering group B. The subject of his mortality is also up to you.

About: Dervenin's companion/weapon, Monolith was formed purely by accident, and has relentlessly pestered Dervenin for the entirety of his existense, annoying and supporting him throughout his adventures. Loves to scream "DYNAMIC ENTRY!" whenever Dervenin shows up.

Personality: Anna tends to be a very relaxed and helpful person. But she can get angry fast if she sees someone treated unjust.
Bio: when the valkyrie named Liam Lionheart went to Cradle disguised as a knight he Met the beautiful Elisa Shamrock. The two shared a bond almost immediately. And after a short while they even started living together. but the happiness had to end and Liam had to return to Elysium. however he did not know that Elisa was pregnant with his child and left never knowing that he forced Elisa to raise it on her own.

Special Ability: Divine aura.
What it looks like: A light starts emitting from Anna along with six wings from her back (only esthetic, she cant fly).
How it works: When Anna gets pushed over an emotional limit or faces crave danger she can tap into her divine power greatly increasing her speed, attack power and she can fire beams of concentrated light (elemental damage).

In this universe, Gremlins and some Devilites live and work with the Knights. Constructs, for the most part, have been reprogrammed by the Gremlins' replacement, the Prismas. I really should add some of these things to the OP.

Name: Arkhov
Rank/Title: Black Knight
Species: Unknown, anatomy similar to Isorans

Gender: Male
Appearance: Tall, muscular frame; black sclera w/ fuschia irises and pupils
Gear: *Mothanes - A size-changing claymore similar in appearance to a Gran Faust without the aura. Arkhov can summon Swarms or a force field by stabbing the ground, and shoot ethereal blades at his prey.

About: Arkhov is almost completely insane, as a result he is highly unpredictable in any situation. He has a tendency to laugh to himself or out loud, and is skilled in both sword and hand-to-hand combat. Despite this, he is loyal to the Dark Matter Lord who made him immortal and respects Genevra, seeing her as a senior (since she was made into an immortal before him).

Arkhov was (emphasis on "WAS") a highly respected warrior of his time. His enemies all fell to him, and his comrades all adored his abilities in the war zone. However, this would all soon change when his family was assassinated along with the Lords he swore to protect. This drove him to madness, and he vowed revenge on all who stand before him.

Soon, Arkhov's life slowly grew shorter as he laid waste to those who saw him as noble. The Dark Matter Lord became interested in him, and appeared before Arkhov one night. It promised him eternal life so long as Arkhov worked for it. He accepted the offer, and Genevra was summoned to rip his heart out. Since then, Arkhov worked for the Dark Matter Lord, constantly doing it's bidding as he quenches his bloodlust.

Special Ability: Swarm Energy - Arkhov has the ability to manipulate Shadow energy and Darkness to make blasts of energy and to increase his overall strength.

Appearance: Tall, has green eyes, is also seen wearing Infernal Guardian Armor and Helm
Gear: Vog Cub Coat and Helm. Has a Grand Tortoise Shield. Has a Barbarous Thorn Blade, A blitz needle, A divine Avenger and a Gran Faust.

Personality: Is quiet when exploring with the team, often acts as the team's guardian due to his shield, likes to knock out lots of enemies quickly and is friend's with Tortodrone's.
Bio: Redley was often sent to explore the clockworks and due to a lot of exploring with 3 other knights, they asked if he wanted to join the team. Redley said Yes and then joined Team C. Redley then was told to explore a place called "The Ancient Grove" and Redley when to Depth 24 where it was.

As Redley was walking on the floor, he saw a Tortodrone being attacked by a unknown creature (Arkhov) and Redley rushed in to not only protect the Tortodrone but to fight back the unknown creature. The fight went badly due to Redley's weak shield and was nearly killed but the Tortodrone's friends came in the nick of time and managed to make the unknown creature retreat.

The Tortodrone's where going to kill Redley until the one Tortodrone who was being attacked stopped them. That Tortodrone walked over to the center and pulled out a shield from the ground. Redley was able to stand up and the Tortodrone gave the new shield to Redley which was the Grand Tortoise Shield.

Redley thanked them and since then, Redley has helped out Team C but as also been saved by Tortodrone's if things got really dangerous.

Special Ability: Call of the Tortodrone!: If Redley has low HP and his shield broke by an enemy, Redley can release a loud cry of help. A Tortodrone nearby will rush towards Redley and help him. Redley can still be attacked even if the Tortodrone is still alive. The Tortodrone won't attack any off Redley's allies either. However, when the Tortodrone is helping Redley, he can't heal, his shield doesn't repair and it only works once per Section. (e.g. 0-4, 5-8 etc..)

How is it overpowered? It is only one Tortodrone in a section. It only happens when Redley is nearly out and shield broken. Redley can't heal, can't repair shield. Also, I used only 26 points instead of the 30 given. Care to explain how it is overpowered? If it was at depth 1 (For who knows why), It would have the strength of a Tier 1 Tortodrone.

Well, you have max endurance and combat (I don't think these are really going to factor into the game, more of a guide, but still.) And now, if someone manages to fight you, break your sheild, AND is about to kill you, you have a free "Nope, can't touch me" card. It's a copout sort of thing like how you said "If Redley has low HP and his shield broke by an enemy [Redly will call a Tortodrone]...Redley is immune to all damage until the Tortodrone dies."

So you're *LITTERALLY* godmoding yourself, creating a 'selective' perk (One that wont attack friends), and is refreshable. Need anymore explination why it's OP? I might have a few more reasons laying around here

*Sigh* App is changed but there is a huge loophole with one of the accepted characters, e.g. Genevra.

The description of how Genevra is described as well as the picture Sonosuke created, it looks familiar to a Y... Creeper can't create a character not based off a game! The one Creeper copied off this time was Yveltal due to the similar description and shape. It might have been the way Sonosuke drew it but, the loophole has been uncovered!

P.S. Robo-Drilldigger: Characters who are inspired by other characters are fine, what's your problem with that? I definitely didn't connect Genevra with Yveltal or whatever.

Edit: Hmm, went and looked at the two..
Sorry the biggest similarity I'm seeing is that they are both Dark and can fly. Yveltal wasn't formed when a creature was experimented on.

Alpha Squad Log, Euclid. Day 34

It's been over a month since we've been tasked to enter the Clockworks. Only a few days ago we entered the Core of this planet. I'm not sure how we're still alive, but we are. We've been going for days without food or water, yet it's as if we don't need those anymore. Rulen's been talking about it for a while, and Parma has been worrying about our comrades topside. Grantz, for the most part, has been quiet the entire time we've been here, occasionally mentioning how bright everything was when we wake up.

I think we've found something of interest for once. Grantz and Rulen volunteered to go check it out. When they came back, Grantz said it was a room with an orb of light in the middle, and that they found a machine with symbols on it. Rulen noted it had an uncanny resemblance to the Alchemy Machines in Haven.

This place is truly a strange one. Euclid, Signing Out

Has a drill on his right side which is permanent and deals heavy normal damage. Downside, all damage dealt to MK Ray is permanent.

About: MK Ray is a non talking robot who is calm, patient and occasionally follows other knights if he hasn't been attacked which is shown by his yellow eyes. If the eyes turn red, he will start attacking aggressive, gets smarter to the opponents tricks and will show no mercy.
Mk Ray was created by the masterminds in the Crimson order to help protect them but during the programming, they accidentally removed the ally system and when they activated him, he started walking around but, wasn't following their orders. A knight who entered the Crimson Order base was killed quickly by MK Ray because the knight hit him.
MK Ray never listened to the gremlins though and they just left him in the clockworks, hoping he would kill anyone that wasn't a gremlin.

Special Ability: Temporary dash: Like a knight, he can do a temporary dash and if anyone is in the road of the dash, his drill will deal heavy damage to anyone. Cooldown of 30 seconds.

Gear: 5* Wrench Wand with healing powers, similar to a Spectrum 6 Darkfang Mender. Has a Blitz Needle if everyone is fine enough. Armor is the same as Azure Guardian set.

Personality: Quiet, patient, hates poison, doesn't like shouting and can be a right jerk sometimes.
Bio: Sarah was like any other knight growing up but the older she got, the more of a jerk started to show from her. Other knights didn't like the jerk part of her but a team wanted her to join because of the jerk part.

When exploring, she was a great fast healer as well as a half decent gunner but they really noticed the poison and fire dislike quickly. In the long run, Sarah has been a great ally.

Special Ability:
Reversed Healing: When the tip of her Wrench Wand flashes red instead of yellow, it will harm people instead of healing. Lasts one minute, cooldown of 5 minutes (Basically if the person was cursed and used a cursed weapon.)

If no one else comes up to fight for the spot of Leader by the time the first official chapter comes up, then Larin can be leader.

By "Universal", you mean a mixed BS+AI? The Sprites have AIs in them already, so I assume you mean a Combat AI that also operates a Battle Sprite body. Can you clarify what you mean or make an app for it?

Note: AIs can communicate with Knights, Gremlins and whatnot in our speech patterns, so if you make that BS+AI hybrid, it can speak our tongue rather than growls and blips.
