hey every body im diamond scout and im looking for a place to find elite orbs now im looking for them and i cant find any why?
so i think i treade for energy but im looking for a place where i can a huge payout and i cant find any im 3 star and i really need tons of help if anyone is out there i need an answer.
Short answer: Gigaslash estimates that 10 runs of RJP will earn you one Elite Orb. But 10 runs also earns you about 29,000 crowns (data), which is more than enough money to buy the 400 energy needed to buy three Elite Orbs. If you insist on finding orbs rather than buying them, you are probably slowing yourself down.
Longer answer: This is a frequently asked question. Try searching Google (not the forum's built-in search), to find immediate answers to your questions. For example, you might search for "elite orb site:forums.spiralknights.com".
Read the wiki page "Rarity" to learn more about orbs, including which strata of the Clockworks offer which orbs. Then try to do levels on that stratum with lots of treasure boxes: danger rooms, arenas, etc.
The default way to obtain orbs is not to find them, but to buy them with energy. On those rare occasions when you don't have to buy orbs, because you already have enough lying around, you should be pleasantly surprised.
The best advice that I can give is to continue to do missions between depths 14 - 17 (such as your Royal Jelly Palace - Jelly King mission and your Ironclaw Munitions Factory - Romulus Twins mission). There is no guarantee that you will find some there on your first try but that is where I have found mine for the most. Make sure any dive into depths 14 - 17 have the elite difficulty. I believe that will improve your chances of finding them.
My data suggests 1 orb every 4 RJP/IMF run on average. Keep in mind this is an average, so you could get 0 orbs in 20+ runs or 6+ orbs in 1 run but overall it will average out to 1 orb in 4 runs if you do enough runs.
RJP = royal jelly palace (accessed through the 5.2 mission The Sovereign Slime)
IMF = ironclaw munitions factory (accessed through the 6.2 mission Built to Destroy!)
It doesn't matter where you look for them as long as it is in stratum 4, so just maximize the number of boxes you find per time spent there and you'll find the most possible. Of course, crowns = orbs, so perhaps it would be best to farm those there while you're at it.
Apparently lying is considered spam, so I can't just tell you that they drop in Stratum 6 but very rarely. Before I knew that it was actually against the rules I would randomly outright lie to people who didn't Google things, because it was THE funniest thing. The 5-6 first comments would be things like "You should google this..." and then me purposefully misdirecting them. I like to stop and imagine how it would feel, to go to stratum 6 and find nothing after hours of searching with 3/4* gear and get no other answers. So delicious.

Honestly, grinding for oebs is pretty easy... Just grind the Jelly king on elite. Your sure to get one in 10 or so runs. +jelly king is pretty easy. With a 3star nightblade, you could solo it in say half an hour . 400ce per 4star thingy is a bit much too grind for, seeing how as a 3star, the biggest payout is jelly king (3k a run)
