Ok, so most RPs say not to make too badass of a character, right? Understandable, because then it turns into a game of one-upping. Well, this is an RP where character interaction is not mandatory, so your story line, if you so desire, is your own. Your character can be as awesome as you want, just no crazy magic or anything.

The Apocrea have become deities. A whole cult has begun following them, turning against the Spiral Order. The Swarm has overrun Haven, and countless knights are now infected. All survivors have fled to the Clockworks, with no sembelance of order. It is now your job to survive.

Let's all just try and have fun with this.

Here we go.

@Zhaver-Sure thing. I intend for this to be a relatively rule-less RP.

Coryn sat beside the fire, roasting a hunk of Wolver meat. The grass around him rustled as a gentle wind blew. Across the fire, his brother Nyroc sat writing in an empty book he had found in a Candlestick Keep they had passed through the day before.

Coryn sighed, causing Nyroc to glance up. "What are you thinking of the time?"

Coryn shrugged. "Not really sure. It's just that we are here sitting in a peaceful emtpy strata, while Haven is under Swarm control."

Nyroc grimaced. "Strange feeling, not fighting back."

Coryn stood up and began pacing. Then he stopped as an idea hit. "Where's that long-range communication module you picked up?"

Nyroc handed it to him. Coryn activated it, and began to broadcast throughout Cradle, "Calling all survivors. If you can, come to this position. I know all of you are scared. The order we stood for is no longer. If we want to avenge that, then we must band together. Over and out."

Hmm. I like where this is going.

Absentmindedly, Isphea crosses her arms.
". . ."
Isphea glances skyward. The ever changing sky of cradle never ceased to interest her- This planet was never the same.
"How many do you two think will come?"
The last grains of the hourglass fell to the bottom.
". . . Looks like the Wolver's done cooking."

Shea's legs burned. She couldn't afford the time to look back, Nor stop running. The reapers of the swarm were upon her.
It seemed like an eternity of pain before she could no longer hear the slithering of darkness and tentacles.
Maybe she could finally rest... Instead, She got the signal.
She looked herself over. Ragged clothes, And just as messy- Her dark brown hair.
The sword was badly battered. What chance did she have?

Shea sighed, and slowly trudged toward the very distant camp.

Time to join in!

Crona let out a huge exasperated (wellp theres the only fancy word in going to say. Ever) sigh and sat down on the top half of the knight he just killed. He looked around to see if there were any more survivors. 1... 5... 10... he was missing one. He stood up and took a battle stance. There should be 11 dead knights around him but there are only 10, and then he remembered, the 11th was the one he was sitting on just a second ago. He laughed with relief and sat back down. He picked up the head of a decapitated knight and started talking to it.

"Wellp, looks like you and your knight friends bit off more than ya could chew eh? You should have just run away while you still had the chance. Oh well, its not my fault that you happened to walk into the 7th circle without knowing where ya where."

Just then Crona heard the sound of his communication module and listened to the massage.

"So theres more of ya near here eh?"

Crona got up and wiped the blood of his Triglav. He made his have over to the cords of the broadcast

--at the cords of the broadcast--

Crona found Coryn and Nyroc sitting by their fire and snuck to the top of a hill took and deep breath and said.

"You two have entered the 7th circle of the Caina. I am the leader of the Caina, Crona. Now you have two options, leave or meet the sharp end of my sword."

Sounds fun! joining in~

"How many does that make? A thousand and one?"

Keep idly asks himself, lobbing off the head of yet another phantom. His dark sword pulsed with shadow energy, it didn't matter that the phantoms resisted the power, repeatedly whacking them with it produced good enough results.

"Krrrrrr," purred the Maskeraith battle sprite floating just behind him.

"Oh please don't start Escha dear, I know I should've crafted the Avenger, EVERYONE told me I should've crafted the Avenger,

"....Well, it doesn't matter now. With Haven down, nothing really matters anymore...."

Keep slumps to the ground, lying face-up, staring blankly at the Graveyard's ever changing star constallations.

"....This must be karmic retribution isn't it Escha?"

"...Krrr,"

"Oh don't be like that. The only reason I joined the exploration team to Cradle was to get out of the Moral Wars y'know. I was just running away,

"....From one catastrophe to the next. Because that's what I do best ain't it? Running away like the coward I am?"

"Krrrrrrrrr,"

A long sigh caught in Keep's throat. Before he could finish the exhale, a ring on his communication module interrupts him.

"...Huh. Would you look at that."

A slight, sardonic chuckle escapes Keep's mouth.

"It's not exactly over yet. So how's about it Escha dear? Keep trudging on to Moorcraft in hopes of finding a kind of safe 'haven' at the risk of having a zombie eat our eyeballs, or...."

"Krr."

"...Typical Escha. I knew you'd say that."

Keep stretches out a hand to stroke his floating partner,

"Now c'mon dear, let's save someone else's life. For once."

"Burn baby BURN!" Caite yelled as she watched another swarm-infected monster get set ablaze by her pyrotechnical traps.

At the moment, Caite stood atop a tower of precariously perched boxes, her upper-body leaned out a window, with a Magnus in her hands. It was by pure luck that she stumbled upon a warehouse for Haven's rations. The place was perfect for building a safehouse of sorts.

Of course, she knew that this place wouldn't last forever. Months perhaps, if she was optimistic. But as days went by, she knew that the swarm's assaults continued to grow more intense. She had to leave, soon.

But where would she go? Try her luck in the Clockworks? Living like some kind of wildswoman?

As she continued to ponder about her troubles, a ring suddenly came from her communications module.

She smiles her trademark wicked smile at the message.

Wow, this escalated quickly!

Coryn stood slowly, lightly resting his custom spear in his hands. A staff with a crosspiece, then a shortened Calibur blade, it had become his weapon of choice during the Morai Wars. "Who are the Caina?" He raised his eyebrows skeptically. "I've never heard of them." Nyroc shifted behind his brother, and oversized Thwack Hammer at the ready.

I dont see it escalating any other way *smiles*

Crona couldn't help but laugh at the two idiots in front of him. After a long, LONG laughing session he faced them with utmost glee in his eyes. It took a sec for the giggles to subside but in time they did and then he spoke.

"Wait really? You never heard of us? Who do you think you are? I can assume you're new here, probably a knight fresh out of training. Caina is a group of nine knights that now rule the clockworks. Before heaven fell we were just a small group of psychopaths, and now our name strikes fear into knights and vanguards alike! If you enter our turf then we kill you simple as that. I am their leader Crona, you would be wise to remember that name. Anymore questions before i kill you?"

Crona unsheathed his Triglav and pointed it at them.

Yeesh, won't people learn that violence is rarely the answer?

Coryn sat through Crona's laughing fit, an amused smile on his face. He also smiled through the speech. And when Crona unsheathed his sword, he was ready. Both he and his brother activated the Striker modules they had picked up, dashing toward the edge of the platform. "These had better work!" He shouted as he and his brother dropped grapples, which clung to the edge. They lept out, using their momentum to swing them back in and over the next strata down. They let go, and hit hard. Nyroc turned, a detonator in his hand, and triggered the explosives they had placed all along their former home as a last-ditch measure. Both grinned as it toppled into the Clockworks, before turning and taking the elevator to the planet's surface, several miles from Haven.

New and dropping in

Airiety started to explore the clockworks for some items, she was looking to craft something that could help against the swarm even though she had a few scars from previous battles. It was amazing that she hadn't been corrupted yet but, she was also confused as to why. A purr snapped her back to reality.

"Oh! S-Shay! Don't scare my like that"

"Purr..." Her pet was a Black Kat, she found it injured and helped look after it even though it kept eating any books she was reading.

She sighed and shook her head before continuing to explore, dealing with a few Dreadnaughts. She barely beat them but got badly injured in the process. Once Airiety collected the materials dropped from the Dreadnaughts, she quickly went to the lift to go back to the nearest safety platform which was floor 4. Her black kat pet was following her the entire time, shame it was quite lazy.

Airiety placed the materials away safety before healing up and then looked at her pet "Listen, I know you aren't powerful against undeads but, you need to attack anyways. I could have been killed there!" Her black kat just purred and didn't listen. Airiety sat down, trying to rest, she was close to making the weapon she wanted and would help her a lot.

((Sorry if its poor but, I am just new, that's all))

Ishpea checked the rubble to make sure that Crona was knocked out cold.
Exhaling, Isphea started after Nyroc and Coryn. "Why do you two never notice me...? Bah, No matter." She says exasperated, And puts on her headphones. (If you wish to keep your sanity, Please do Not google Monster Girl Quest.)
She jumped down onto the descending elevator. "Did you really think you guys were going alone? Sheesh..."

Crona rose from the rubble. He shook his legs and dusted off his jacket.

"Give them a damn good introduction and what do they do, run away and then exploded me. Oh well they will soon learn that making an enemy of Caina is the last thing they want to do." Crona then looked over and saw Shea get onto the elevator. We sneaked over to a nearby rock and waited for the elevator to go up a little. Once it did he grabbed on to the bottom.

stuff happens

A snipe's morning chirp marks the second day of Keep's journey to the rendezvous point.

By nothing short of pure luck, Keep had found an abandoned Gremlin laboratory to use as a shelter. The lack of a bed was disappointing though.

After checking his module, Keep discovered that he was now halfway towards his destination. The journey would no doubt proceed much faster if he could use the elevators. But as of late, around 70% of all of the Clockwork's elevators had been broken by the swarm.

Keep continues to walk, but then stops when he hears something that catches his attention. Namely, it was a panicked scream.
===

Scarabs.

Scarabs.

Caite absolutely HATED scarabs, any bug really, they made her spine tingle in all the wrong ways.

She places another armed Irontech Bomb before jumping behind some bushes.

The following explosion causes everything around her to tremble from the shockwave. Peering from her bush, Caite sees that she only got SOME of the bugs, not all of them.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck, FUCK ME!"

She pulls out her trusty Mega Magnus, and starts shooting at them. But her efforts were pointless, there were simply too many of them.

She thought of arming another bomb, but she knew that she wouldn't have the time, they were getting close.

"Goddammit all...!"

But before she could revel in her despair, she sees a large spherical object suddenly shot at the swarm of scarabs, followed by another smaller orb that hits and detonates the first one.

The scarabs get scattered by the explosion, and while Caite was still trying to get a grasp on what just happened, a figure suddenly materializes in front of her.

"Hey are you okay- Caite?!"

Ah. She recognizes that voice. And that goofy helmet.

"Oh... hey bro."

@Zhaver-Have you heard of Angerday?

He stalked his prey slowly and methodically. His feet made no sound as he walked. On Cradle, incurring his wrath meant death.
The Hunter.
He was hunting Crona. He had seen much of the Caina's work, and was determined to end it. He topped the rise, and spied his target. Pulling out his Supernova, modified into a sniper rifle, he took aim, and fired...

((HAZZA! Someones posting again))

Crona jerked his head forward and the shot grazed some of his helmet and a little skin, from the back of his head blood slowly started to come out. He looked angrily in the direction of the shot and unsheathed his Triglav. He then made a big arcing slash in the direction of the shot and a freezing wind came forth. ((NOT MAGIC, just being a badass)) Everything that the wind touched was covered with frost and some trees even died.

"Who just shot me? Come out so I can end you. Or are you too afraid after what I just did, surely if you wanted to kill me that bad you would have known what im capable of. Or are you just a dreamer who thinks that with one lucky shot I would just die."

Anyone else out there?

The brothers had made good time, with several miles between them and the elevator. As they topped the hill, coryn grinned. Below them was a supply pod from the Skylark. (Supply pods are built to hold up to four knights, and are full of useful stuff.)
Nyroc opened the pod, and turned on the lights.several full armor sets hung along the walls, with swords, guns, bombs, and other supplies. Coryn set down his bag, before rummaging through it and pulling out a location beacon. He activated it.
Both brothers began to build defenses around the pod, complete with bulwarks and autoturrets.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Hunter grimaced. He rarely missed. Crona's show of force was of little surprise, but it still left nagging doubts in his head. Slowly, he began to bait Crona, hoping to lead him to a more favourable battleground.

Thief in the darkness

Beck watched through his binoculars, on a rooftop. The swarm knights stumbled around haven as their owners learned how to use the new bodies. Thanks to a hood and spell from a friend, his 'scent' was masked and he looked like any other swam/Apocrean knight. Beck got up and descended the staircase, into the ramshackle apartment. He opened the door and immediately noticed the quiet beeping. Quickly, he drew his Valiance and moved forward, the beeping came from the communications module he had found awhile ago. He pushed the button and listened.

After it ended he thought for a bit, it was quite lonely here. He pulled his hood tighter over his head and went to his closet. Inside he paused, before taking out the hat. A Nameless hat, he pulled back his hood and settled the hat on his head. For good measure, he kept the Apocrean mask on and set out towards the coordinates.

Where are the survivors supposed to meet up anyway?

"Holy son of a..."

"I concur with that statement."

The two siblings found their way to an abandoned campsite. Although, 'abandoned' might be putting it lightly.

To be accurate, the place looked like it had been hit by a localized snowstorm. A storm that ran bullets and explosions, as can be seen by some broken camp equipment.

"We should probably move on...." suggested Keep. A suggestion that earned him a rather unamused looking face from his sister. She was wearing her helmet when she made the face, but she managed to somehow get the point across.

"I dunno about you bro, but I'm real freaking tired. This place has already been set up, so can't we have some R&R?"

"But-"

"But what if whatever did this comes back, yes I know. I know and I don't care. I'm tired, my feet are killing me, and if you even think of suggesting us to NOT stay here, I swear to every goddamn Pantheon back on Isora that I WILL shove my motherfucking Magnus up your ass."

"...."

Keep, having more or less used to his sisters outbursts, then proceeds to shrug it off. He was tired too afterall. That and you'd be more likely to beat a Lumber in an arm-wrestling contest before you manage to convince Caite out of anything.

Caite proceeds to collapse onto the ground, letting herself fall asleep with her armor still on. Her Drakon sprite follows suit by resting on her forehead.

"Krrrr...?"

"What? What kind of question is that? Of course we're twins can't you see the similarities?" He answers sarcastically.

Just a quick note before I start

((@Keepscaite you're at the right place but I just want to warn you that Crona is right above you and if things go the way I plan (HUE HUE HUE) then things should be getting quite loud... quite loud indeed. that is all my children.))

Crona was still looking for the hunter. He was checking behind every tree and every rock but saw no sign of him and then he saw the bait, and he fell for it. Crona slow walked over to the bait but before he could reach it he heard a familiar voice.

"Yo Crona where are ya heading off to?" Crona turned his head and saw Phlegethon, number eight of Caina. (They are ranked by power, with the person at number nine the most powerful in Caina as well as their leader. In this case Crona is number nine in Caina)

"Phlegethon what are you doing here so far away from your strata of the clockworks."

"I would love to say the same to you."

"Im the leader I go where I please."

Phlegethon fell silent and slowly made his way over to Crona, his Fang of Vog in his hand.

"Look... Crona... its been fun and all but I think that we of Cania find it our best judgment to... well... let you go."

Phlegethon then struck with his sword but Crona blocked it. The energy coming from the two swords clashing was almost palpable. (Love that word)

Crona took a few steps back and swung his sword a few times at nothing. The two charged at each other and this time when their swords clashed the ground beneath them shook and broke, fragments of the earth went flying about and for a moment it seemed like there swords were about to rip a hole in time its self! Yet the two stood there unfazed. Then... Crona spoke.

"Look Phlegethon, we have been friends for a long time now and i'm willing to let you off the hook for this if you want me out of Caina then so be it. Just let me get Gen and ill be on my way."

"Oh no, no, no you can't have Gen back. She belongs to Caina now and theres no way we can let you take her."

Crona's eyes widened with anger, nay, wrath. He tightened his grip on his sword took a step forward and shoved Phlegethon's sword to the side before delivering a right hook to his face. The punch fractured some of his helmet and probably broke a bone or two. The punch sent Phlegethon flying backwards and into the ground.

"Run before I fucking kill you." Crona said slowly closing in on Phlegethon. Phlegethon couldn't say anything in response, the only thing he could do was activate his emergency teleporter and warp away.

Crona then looked back in the direction of the hunter.

"Yo person who shot me, come out. You and me are going to be teaming for a bit."

Valion watched the small force of rhetrodes and scuttlebots as they stumbled towards him."Perfect", he thought as he took out his Argent Peacemaker.

He had been in the area for days, provoking them, so that they would follow him. Then he would kill them with his Argent Peacemaker,
one by one. He would pick a few off with his Argent Peacemaker, then hide. He constantly repeated the process,
causing their numbers to dwindle.

He signed, he had not found what he was looking for. The material he needed could fix
the one hope he had of getting answers. He signed, took out his gun...and saw what he needed.

"Rrr,rrr." said his sprite, a Maskeraith named"Phantom".
"There's another group there? Okay, thanks."
He quickly fixed it, and started activating it.

Again, he wondered about what happened to haven. When he got back from an expedition to the clockworks, he barely got out with his life.Suddenly, he heard a faint beeping coming from his the he had fixed communications capsule. He pushd the button. After it ended he looked at theforce of constructs he had forgotten to kill."Lucky for you, I won't kill you all. Beck took one last look at the overrun Haven before hopping off of the south wall. He took a step forward than stopped.

"Nice to see you again old friend."

Out of the shadows stepped a knight dressed similar to Beck, he wore a Snarbolax coat. Instead of the Hat he wore the Dread Skeleton Helm.

"I could never get past that sight."

"If it wasn't me, Syber, you'd be invisible. But I'd recognize that skull anywhere."

Syber chuckled and crossed his arms, "Why the hat? Even more so, why the mask?"

Beck took the mask off, "Didn't want to attract any extra attention, although it seems that didn't work."

"I heard the call too, thought I'd come to back you up."

He ignored the snort from Beck and pulled his hood up, and put his own mask on. Beck pulled up his own hood and they disappeared into the woods, heading towards the hopeful sign of other life.

"Did you see that?"

Instead of the response he was hoping for, Keep turns to see his sister, hugging her back to the side of a sizable boulder, clearly trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, by being as conspicuous as possible.

"I am one with the shadooooows..... your lesser mortal sense of perception is incapable of grasping the existence that stands before you....."

Keep very much wanted to have his palm connect with his face in a meeting of glorious unity at his sister's antics. But with his helmet on, he knew the gesture would not be done justice. So he compromised.

"What in the flying Vog are you doing?"

"Ssssh, don't talk to the shadows man."

"You are such a-" Keep cuts himself off, he thought he heard the sound of a broken twig somewhere in the distance.

He freezes, trying to be as still as possible and straining his ears to hear any other sound.

He hears a faint footstep.

"Shit!"

Keep dives over to Caite's hiding spot, also trying to make himself as scarce as he can.

"Wha- g-get off man, the shadows do not welcome you!Leave at once before the wrath of the shadows-"

You Can't Shut Down The Real Napster!!

Coryn looked over at his brother. "I saw some pods a little to the north. If we are going to prepare for more survivors, maybe we should roll them over here as shelters."
Nyroc nodded absentmindedly. Ever since they had found a ruin not far away, he had been obsessed with the grimoires he had recovered.
Coryn looked at him thoughtfully. "I'll go get started." It didn't take long before his brother set to work as well.
Within a few hours, they had ten more pods, and had extended the defenses around them.
"Nothing left to do but sit and wait," said Nyroc, before slumping to the ground and burying his head in yet another book.
(This is where, hopefully, someone else will come to the camp. The Hunter's part will continue, but the brothers are going to be waiting, so please hurry! ;P)

The Hunter wheeled around at the sound of Crona's voice. The thought seemed impossible, but just maybe...
He thought for a moment, weighing the potential costs. After all, his vendetta was against the Caina collectively, not just Crona. He took aim at Crona before stepping out of hiding.
"Alright, I'm in. But know that if your screwing with me, you will die long and hard."

((Ok just real quick this is most likely going to be my last post until winter break.))

Crona walked over to the hunter staring down the barrel of his gun. He stopped when the gun was point blank pointed at his heart.

"I dont know if you missed that little show over there but i'm out of Caina now, and they have something that belongs to me that they won't give back and as much as I would love to go get her myself I can't. They probably have that place ready for me, the moment I enter they will probably manage to kill me so I can't go it alone. I can however go it with a team, but I dont know how far I would get with just you so I need you to do me a favor and gather a team. I will be waiting for you when you do." Then out of his bag Crona pulled out a tracker (currently tracking Crona.)

"Use this to find me once you have a good team."

Then he handed him a communication module and some candy. Then without a word he walked away.

Woot, first survivor!

Coryn looked, susrprised. "We weren't expecting anyone. This quickly. What's you're name? And how did you survive?"
Nyroc smirked. It wasn't often that his brother got so excitable. "Come on in."

The Hunter looked at Crona's back, a slight look of shock on his face. He sighed deeply, before turning. He had heard rumors circulating throughout the scattered survivor groups of a new group, with two knights trying to band as many knights together as possible. They obviously had some nerve, maybe they would make for a good crew, along with their survivors.

Les do this.

Lyn woke with a start. The world slowly spinning. The last thing she remember seeing was haven... The swarm! Lyn jumped up with fire in her eyes. She drew her Nightblade from it's sheath, ready to slay hordes. But then she noticed she was in Aurora Isles. Dew glistened over her Serene draped armor and tailed helm... How long had she been out? "Hello?" She called to no avail. Suddenly a crackling noise came from her com unit, "Calling all survivors... Come to this position... Band together..." then, just static. Lyn turned around, seeing Sarah over her shoulder made her feel far better.
"Mew?" Seraph chimed.
"Don't even look at me like that kitty-kat." Lynn said. "Let's go find these people."
Lyn Jumped into the trees with Sarah on her tail. Even though Lyn just became a knight before the Swarm attacked haven, she was pretty good at this stuff.

Sprinting through the graveyard singing her Nightblade futilely, she smacked zombie after zombie with her sword. Sarah did her best to hold enemies off, but her Ray of Light wasn't very strong.
"$#!%!!!!!" screamed Lyn. A phantom had cut her off, his sword thoroughly through her stomach. Lyn pulled out a pyrotech alchemer and fired, a wretched scream filled the air as the Phantom burned away. Lyn limped onward finding herself at another elevator and collapsed onto it. Her blood dripped through the grates as it descended. It jolted to a stop in a wolver den. Lyn saw the glow of a fire and thought she saw some escape pods. Sarah flitted down and let out a cry of pure hate, sadness, and futility that pierced the sky. Lyn saw two figures stand, and then only black.

I'm done being serious. Time to revel in insanity.

A lone survivor steps off the elevator onto the dull earth of the Wolver Den. He wore a black coat with orange trim that hung near his knees, as well as black pants with silver shin guards and boots. The man's arms were notably armored, the left hand clawed with extra plating. A hood was pulled over his head, concealing his eyes in shadows but leaving strands of blood red hanging over his face.

Unlike most others he had passed through, this one was barren, as though someone had cleared the place out before he arrived. Something else of note was that there was someone, a girl likely no more than a Knight based on her armor, passed out near the lift. She was bleeding. The man, who went by the name of Grell, rushed to her side, but slowed down when he spotted the Seraphynx (who is hopefully attempting to heal Lyn and not just floating there like a retard).

I was kinda playing to find Coryn and Nyroc but.. this works too

Lyn awoke to a strange face. The hooded man seemed nice enough. She went to move.
"GAH!" Lyn screamed in pain.
"Slow down there, you're still hurt," The man said.
Lyn looked over at Sarah, who seemed to trust the man well enough, then she looked back at the man.
"You're name?" she asked.
"Grell," he replied.
Lyn found herself interested in the man. He had a shroud of mystery around him. His bright red hair glimmered in the sunlight. Lyn knew she was waaaaay out of his league but... Lyn blushed a little at her realization, and once more tried to stand, this time successfully.
"C'mon, let's go. I heard a transmission that said there was a meeting of knights just along the way," she said smiling at him.
"Fine," Grell said.
Lyn almost fell. Over a bit of the way, Grell propped Lyn up on his shoulder.
"Thanks Grell," she said. Then Lyn drifted off into a peaceful sleep with Sarah cuddled up against her neck.

(Also, you took control of my character...please don't do that.)

"Hey, by the way. What are you going to do once a few people come along?" He leaned on a pod and looked at the twins.

Wow, I never expected this!

(Just a quick note here: this is my first time GM'ing an RP. I never really expected many people to join. Having this many people, well, it's an honor. Thank you, and let's see how long we can keep this going!)

The twins looked at Syber, grins on their faces. Nyroc turned to Coryn. "Should we tell him?" he asked.
Coryn turned to Syber. "Well, provided everything goes even close to according to plan, we are going to find a way to build a smaller ship out of what we can salvage from the Skylark. The rest of the materials will have to come from the Clockworks."
Nyroc turned to Syber. "Are you in?"

Controlling my character as well... *sigh* fine.

(Let's say we just arrived at the camp place)

Grell helped Lyn over to where she said the camp was. "Say... you never told me your name...."

Upon arriving at the camp, he settled Lyn down at one of the pods. "We, uh, heard your call for survivors. Not really a great idea, considering the... well, organization who claimed ownership over areas of the Clockworks." He paused. "I'm Grell."

By nothing short of a miracle, the twins had somehow managed to get away from the abandoned campsite. With that out of the way, they continued their journey to meet with the other survivors.

(Fast forward a bit. A lot, actually.)

Currently, they were trudging up a hill. And just as they were topping the hill, Keep saw something.

"Is that... a campfire?"

Hearing what her brother said, Caite doubles her effort to climb the hill, she shoves her brother out of the way, very nearly causing him to topple down the hill.

Lyn coughed...

*Cough cough HACK* Lyn woke up with a starting pain in her stomach. Not from the sword strike though. She was hungry, veeeeery hungry.
"You guys got any food around here, only thing I've eaten recently was my own blood. Not very tasty," She said. "By the way my name's Lyn, now how about you guys tell me who you all are, I already know... Grell..." After saying this, Lyn began blushing profusely, she tried to hide it with no avail. After all, after all the blood she lost she shouldn't be so flush, nor should she have a grin across her face. Lyn felt in love, like an idiot, and still freakin' hungry and sore.
"CIVILIZATIOOOOOOON! HERE I COOOOOOOOOOME!" A strange voice shouted from downhill.
"What the heck was that?" everyone in the camp answered simultaneously. Today was going to be an interesting day.

Syber crossed his arms. With all the people arriving it was going to be easier to disappear. He decided to go duck inside a pod to take a nap.

(Here's a site that we had to link to quite a lot back in "ANKoRP", considering as new people who wanted to know the general rules of RP or just joined haphazardly (optionally with controlling other players' characters) showed up quite often.

tl;dr:
1.) Don't have characters know what you know before they should know (Meta Gaming)
2.) Don't make your character invincible or overpowered (GodModing)
3.) Don't control other players' characters or make your actions always happen on things (GodModding))

"CIVILIZATIOOOOOOON! HERE I COOOOOOOOOOME!"

At this, Grell tilted his head to the side. "More survivors? This is gonna be even more difficult to move around now."

This RP needs more antagonists. Time to make an Antagonist.

A page is flipped. A pen is taken out, then tapped inquisitively upon the ghostly-knight's Phantom helm. The mask in front is lifted, allowing easier sight for the weary ghost. But the dead knight hadn't opened the helm for that purpose. His eyes had been hurting a lot lately. Well, "hurting" as in being slightly uncomfortable to leave to the dusty air of the graveyards; and so the phantom decided it was best to learn how to walk with his eyes closed.
"... Ɨ'₥ ałł øưŧ øf ɨđɇaȿ... Ɨ nɇɇđ ȿø₥ɇ nɇw ₥aŧɇɍɨałȿ."
The specter's voice is wispy, calm and low yet fading in the wind. He closes the small book, its cover and back are made of a dark leather.
The Phantom, formerly known as Strom, walks through the graveyard. His graveyard. Or, what would be known as his if there was some sort of name plaque put up somewhere.
While mulling over the idea of making said name plaque, Strom steps on a small puddle, and stops instantly.

Puddles? In a graveyard? Preposterous. These places have "mist", but that's actually just dust and residue left off when mindless undead decide that the underground-dirt is too uncomfortable (especially when a knight steps over them, squishing them. That must be very uncomfortable). The fact that there was a puddle here meant...
Inspection.
Strom stepped back from the puddle. It wasn't water, so at least the Graveyard wasn't gaining rain as another of its cheerful add-ons. Clearly the tombstones and wandering Kats were all that this place needed to keep it as the envy of all other dead denizens. Rather, the small puddle was blood.
Well, that wasn't entirely irregular.
Seeing as the amount of undead in the area had dropped significantly, Strom simply assumed more knights had come down to plunder loot. The amount of looters had dropped significantly as of late, however, but Strom didn't really mind. But it did leave him with a lot less to write about.
Strom sighs to himself and heads towards the elevator. The trail of blood lead there, but there was no knight to be found.
"Ŧħɇɏ ₥ưȿŧ ħavɇ łɇfŧ, ŧħɇn... ₱ɨŧɏ. Ŧħɇɏ'đ ₥aҟɇ a ǥɍɇaŧ ȿưƀɉɇȼŧ føɍ ₥ɏ nɇwɇȿŧ ƀøøҟ."
It was well known by monsters that they couldn't take elevators. Only Knights and Swarm-creatures had any hope of crossing levels in the Clockworks.

Thank goodness Strom wasn't a regular monster.
He heads over to the elevator, hovering his hand over the "descent" button, then opens one of his eyes. Ripples of magenta energy ripple off of his heavily armored arms and legs, sparking from a glowing core on his chest. A dark mist builds within the space within his helm, flowing out and vanishing into small squares. His opened eye ripples, as if it's affected by static.
"Ɨŧ'ȿ ƀɇɇn a wħɨłɇ ȿɨnȼɇ Ɨ'vɇ łɇfŧ... Ƀưŧ Ɨ ħavɇ nø ȼħøɨȼɇ."
Strom swipes his pen on a bit of blood on the elevator and opens his book.

"Łɇŧ'ȿ fɨnđ ȿø₥ɇ ₥øɍɇ ₥aŧɇɍɨałȿ."
The elevator descends.

Ooh, creepy.

@Ember: Is that Keep's blood or Lyn's blood? Both of them crossed the Graveyard afterall.

I also forgot to mention this, but Keep is wearing the Divine Set with sunglasses, while Caite is wearing the Quicksilver armor and no helmet. Though she usually has a pair of goggles that she lets hang around her neck when she's not using them. They're both brunettes with similar faces and average builds, though Caite is a little slimmer. Keep's hair is in a crew cut, while Caite has long-ish hair that falls just under her jaw. They both have tan skin.

---

Seeing as she ran full speed down a cliff, while wearing boots that messed with her weight distribution, it was to no surprise that Caite soon stumbled over herself and proceeded to roll downwards in a manner some would call more than explosive. But despite that, she managed to, somehow, land herself upright in a kneeling position, right in front of the gathering of survivors.

It was difficult to say, whether Caite was clumsy, graceful, or some combination of both.

"...Hold your applause," she says, in enough confidence that it was likely that some people in the crowd actually DID feel obligated to 'hold' an applause that they were never planning to have.

"Please ignore her nonsense, trust me, taking her seriously will only end in tragedy," added Keep, trailing not too far behind of his sister.

"Carrying on, hey there, other survivors," Keep says, while lowering his hood, "my name is Keep, and that over there is my sister, Caite."

Keep tries to smile, but it ended up awkward more than anything.

"Ah!" Caite suddenly yelps, pointing her finger at another pair of survivors, "Other twins! Unlike us, do you two have a psychic connection?!"

How far away are the elevators in comparison?

@Keepscaite
I was originally thinking it would be Lyn's trail, seeing as she had a more, er... Graphic sort of description when it came to bleeding. But it doesn't really matter.
From the looks of it, the trail Keep went through (starting at the graveyard) went something like Graveyard -> Scarab-containing area -> Old-Campsite level / 7th circle of Caina -> New Campsite with unknown time-markers between each area.
Lyn seemingly went down one elevator (from the graveyard), and was then within sight of the new campfire. Or at least two individuals were within sight (but it ended up just being Grell, who then had to follow her directions to the campfire.).

I don't really mind which one Strom has to take, but seeing as there won't be much of a challenge being faced in the foreseeable future, what with Zhaver presumably being gone 'till Winter Break, it may be a good idea to have Strom head almost directly over to the new campsite to provide... Some sort of urgency. I guess.
On the other hand, Seeing as I can't accurately gauge the capabilities of the... 7 people at the campsite? Yeah? 7? I think there are more on the way, especially the Hunter who's presumably on the same stratum. But anyways, yeah. Don't know what you're all capable of, except for Lyn who's presumably injured and starving; and because I don't know that, I don't plan on throwing my character into what could quite possibly be a point of no return.
I'll wait a bit and see what happens, then decide which elevator Strom's coming from. Who knows, I might just find some other baddies to join his hunt for "Materials" along the way.
Uhuhuhuhuhuhuhu...

A major antagonist

Ah, that makes sense. In that case, it'd be better for the blood to be Lyn's.

Aside from that, though it's ultimately up to Sawhero, I think it's fine for Strom to just crash right into the new camp. He can mess sh*t up, and force everybody else to retreat and/or rendezveus somewhere else. No matter how strong everyone in the party is, if Strom is a main antagonist, NOBODY is allowed to beat Strom, no matter how strong they are/supposed to be.

EDIT:
@Sonosuke: lol, the actual main antagonist is the swarm.

Y'know. That thing. The one that's taken over Haven, posessed your loved ones, and is probably defiling souls for some reason or other. That one.

Anywho, we need to get some input from our resident Game Master first :p

Good luck Sawhero. Being a GM is hard work.

((I believe the Caina are the main antagonists. If anything, Strom would be a secondary antagonist, an enemy to the protagonists that is not of utmost importance and not overly powerful to be unbeatable, but is very capable of putting up a good fight.

EDIT: @Keepscaite
Ah, right. Forgot about that. Then the Caina are the secondary antagonists. Strom likely being a secondary or tertiary antagonist still stands. An obstacle at least.))

Strom ain't got time to be categorized.

@Keepscaite & Sonosuke
Usually in stories and/or RP's the main antagonist isn't introduced so early, besides, due to the setting that I've placed Strom in he can't be the main antagonist. That's because he has no connection to the haven-swarm whatsoever, it was "his graveyard" that he was coming from. As in the one he was buried in while he was still alive (however long ago that was makes no difference, but it was before Skylark crashed if we use the current SK logic), and haunted for time immemorial.
While Strom is technically part of the Swarm, I don't think we should consider making all Swarm-type things on the same connection to one another, that way we can have even more Swarm characters to provide "stepping stones" of sorts.
With that all straightened out, the best category to put Strom into is under the primary antagonistic category, but a separate section within it. Strom isn't a mastermind or a leading commander within the Swarm, he's just a Phantom who was tainted by the Swarm and harnessed its power. That being said, Strom's power isn't to be taken lightly.
But that's all I'm gonna say about that. I'd reveal all my cards, but then things wouldn't be all that interesting.

As a final note: I'll wait 'till there's some sort of organisational plan in the current campsite before sending Strom in. That way it doesn't just end up as a "Well, this plan didn't work. Clearly people getting together draws too much attention. Let's never do it again." sort of situation.

New character... Kinda...

Sarah noticed Lyn was asleep, so she decided to go for a flutter. Sarah went about a mile when she came to a strange white glowing tower. She poked it with her hand and a small pale gold spiked sphere came out of it. She smelled it, it smelled heavenly, Sarah gobbled it down in one scarf. Suddenly, she felt different. She had a metal halo above her and a gem adorning her forehead. Her tail was also at least twice as fluffy! Sarah rushed back to camp to show Lyn.
Lyn awoke just after Sarah left. It had been a little while, and she felt as though she was nearly better. She was hungry but she put that aside when she smelled herself.
"Whoo! I smell worse than a Gorgo stuck in a poison depth!" She said to herself in the pod. Everyone else was asleep so she opened her pod and crept out. She didn't want to wake anyone or be followed, so she quietly rushed down to a freshwater hot spring surrounded by bushes that she'd found. After taking off her armor she slipped into the pool. It felt good to wash up, she began scrubbing away at all the muck and grime, her black hair shining in the sunlight, her pale skin finally getting some sunlight for that matter. She finished washing up and looked to the shore where her armor was. In it's place was an armor plated dress and winger helm with a halo.
"A freakin' dress!!!! That's it! Not funny guys! Which one of you freaks stole my clothes! I am not wearing a dress!!!! Show yourselves!!!" She shouted.
She waited for about half an hour and gave up she looked around to make sure no one was watching and slipped into the new dress and helm. They were a little heavier than her old stuff but still lightweight and quite comfortable. She picked up her nightblade, but something was off. Her nightblade had the appearance of an acheron, but it was white with gold highlights, a blue handle, and a blue sheath. It had a heavenly glow to it.
"I think I'll call it Swarmbane," Lyn said to herself as she walked back to camp to see who wanted to see her in a f*cking dress, half expecting and hoping it to be Grell.

Quib quib. Quibble quib.

@Flame-Shinobi
That's better. I can just assume that you didn't have extremely severe wounds from the graveyard.
Although the time difference is still there, I can make the assumption that the events which transpired happened along the lines of...
Introductions happened (as previously posted by all characters involved) -> [More discussion of what's going on to come by other players -- currently in progress] -> Lyn sent off to bathe and wash off any debris gained through her journey to the new camp.
I'd recommend waiting until other players post what they're talking about, then "returning to camp" within the discussion. That way the timestamp is only a couple of hours, and any discussion held by other players remains valid, albeit partially unknown to Lyn until she is debriefed after returning to camp.

And... Since I can't delete this window I may as well do something with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strom lifts up his hands to block out the sun of the new stratum. "Ɨŧ ƀưưưưưưưưưɍnȿ...!!!"
A few moments pass...
Strom puts his hand down and grunts unappreciative at the fact that the sun didn't actually burn, but rather made his armor's temperature increase by a couple of degrees. The descent is slow. The elevator must be on the verge of ceasing all operation, because almost 3/4 of the way down the long and slowly-grinding ride, the elevator stops. Wait. That'd make it cease operation entirely.
Strom looks down and judges the distance. By sheer estimation, it seems that the distance is roughly 40 meters remaining, but it's hard to tell due to the shifting in the clockworks. Strom brings his eyes to mere slits, and taps his fingers impatiently on the elevator. Sparks from his core flow through the elevator and into the previously blue button, which now emits a faint magenta glow. The elevator continues.

"Ħ₥..." Strom looks upon the horizon to see a trail of smoke raising into the sky. "Ŧħɇɏ ₥ưȿŧ ħavɇ ưȿɇđ Łư₥ƀaɍ wøøđ ȼø₥ƀɨnɇđ wɨŧħ ǥaȿøłɨnɇ anđ ᵽaɍŧɨał wøøđ fɍø₥ ŧħɇ ȿưɍɍøưnđɨnǥ vɇǥɇŧaŧɨøn... Strom reassess the IQ of the "materials" he's seeking out, but then jumps off the platform with about 20 meters remaining on the elevator. The elevator, having lost its source of power, cringes to a stop. Unless someone knows how to climb up metal supports, no one will be using that to get to or from the graveyard for a while. Well... Even if they could get there, they'd need to pump some energy into it for it to function, and even then it was practically falling apart.
Strom lands with a slight "thump", his Phantasmal armor cringing under the collision, but the armor re-sets with a crinkle with pink energy.
Strom looks back over at the smoke trailing in the sky in the near distance, and vanishes in a way that all phantoms are known for, leaving only his eyes visible. But they too blink out in a pink flash, and he vanishes into the bush.
