Really sad SK turned out to be like this, frankly I enjoyed the times Nick teased us about updates and the game it self. I honestly hope that the arcade redux,new gear and t3 boss would help this game not die out.

It's probably a downtime
It's probably a minor update. Heck, I'm hope there's an update. I expect the major update to come 2015. Besides it was the update. The developers would have informed us by now. Or at least, say it's nearly done and will be out by x month or day.

Even if they aren't going to give us information now, I believe that they added new fundamental updates that couldn't be "updated" without long "matenance". This is probably the same for most other "matenance" in the past. Cleaning up the servers is also just a side benefit.
Also, I notice that in recent times, the only times that GMs post now are when responding to feedback and bugs - near an update of some kind.
Besides, hype and suspicion is always better then the boring "SK died" threads
Anyways, time to get Hyped for Smash 4 WiiU!!!!!!!!!!
