Here's what I remember from beta and what seems different here...
*Increased movement speed only while charging, not when firing, in beta*
*Unable to swap properly in beta (ammo counter resets would not properly occur)*
Pulsar line increased fire speed but not significant damage decrease in beta
Those first two differences are EXTREMELY important - swapping made up a large part of gunning's skillcap and appeal, so it's nice to see that it's not removed. The increased movement speed while firing is going to mean that swapping does have a tradeoff though - you'll move slower when shielding, but not while firing, meaning that you can now opt not to swap some shots in order to increase your mobility while still dealing some (albeit reduced) damage.
It's beautiful.

-Magnus charge
I wonder if:
-Magnus charge clipping has been fixed.
- Wall charge issues have been fixed.
- Particle effects on the Magma Driver got fixed
- Nog Blaster had its texture seems fixed and given unique shot graphics.
- Magma/Nova/Umbra/Nog will ever get unique sound effects.
I fear that Catalyzer has been compromised due to pandering.

Is it just me or is anyone else struggling to launch the game? It validates and then never opens, despite being in the processes tab of task manager. Ending the process and reopening causes the same effect.

Not Launching through Steam
So I installed the update today like I'm sure the rest of you have and for some strange reason, the game does not launch anymore through steam. I am really confused. Should I do as the steam support site says?
