My friend recommended this guild to me, I had heard about it but wasn't sure what it was like. It's an active guild which I like about it.

One of the best choices i made

Retribution Council is no doubt one of the best guilds/clans I've ever been into. People here are very helpful, unique, and very kind. Before I used to be a person who was guild-less or seeking a better guild. Most guilds I've been in had always been inactive, disrespectful, and very immature. But one day I met Kazagen. My 1st reaction was that it was gonna be the same thing all over again. But soon as I joined, I was welcomed so much and given so much that it was amazing. I never felt welcomed this much as other guilds I've been to. People here are very amazing in too many situations. Ever since then I gave my thanks to the team and that without them I wouldn't have made it this far. From the day I joined (Nov 2014) till today I became a Veteran and I've been helping others with missions ever since.

This is a good guild.

So secretly, I was going to join this guild and then save up to start my own. But I've changed my mind after being in it for a while.

It's a solid group of players who are actually really fun to talk to. And they help stupid people like me out instead of watching us fail. Plus the Vana Escorts, mission help, and training got me to Vanguard super fast! Worth it. :)

So if you aren't a total jerk and you are looking for a guild, this one is awesome.

I started in the June of 2011 and stopped around mid-2012. Very recently (read: last week) decided to come back in 2015.

Because we sure do!: Despite my 3 year hiatus, I am willing to commit time to this game if its worth it. The reason why I stopped playing in 2012 because I felt like I wasnt actually amounting to anything and the grinding was getting sour.

Care to tell us a bit about yourself as a person?:
I am at the end of my Junior year in high-school, and with that I got summer coming up. I figured I could look back at Spiral Knights and waste some time until my vacation (Flying out to Germany in July, yee). I am pretty calm in most situations, and have a variety of interests that baffle the casuals when they enter my neckbeard lair.

Our community has players from lots of different countries. Which might you be from?:

From what I have observed, you guys stand out because you look like you actually give a damn. The feeling of community is actually concrete and I also admire the ability to not take yourselves too seriously. I didn't want to be in some pro-MLG PVP elite hardcore clan. I wanted a group of chill bros who want to play a childrens MMO with, and you guys seem to be the closest thing so far.

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
I can be a guy, that talks with people. I don't have any money to give or any items to trade but I am always down for anything. I am the rank-and-file nameless knight that you pick when you dont feel like picking your main character protaganist squadmates. I can also share some dank memes.

I've played SK for 2 and a half years, but then I got bored and created a new character (this one).
I play 3-5 days a week, probably because my parents do not let me play on weekdays or i'm just busy doing homework.
I'm turning 12 in a few weeks. I just got in high school so that's pretty nice. I was born in Australia, my background is Indonesian and my ancestors are from China.
I live in Australia, (the land down under).
Most guilds just beg their guildies to cash in their money. I saw that this guild gives the freedom to players to do whatever they want.
I am experienced at SK and I can help others who need a little training. I can help new players get started and have fun in the game.

I began playing Spiral Knights somewhere in 2011, though I did go on a long hiatus and recently came back late 2014.

I have been online almost every day since my return. The game has evolved so much since I first left, I am addicted all over again...

And for myself, I am a stereotypical Texan with a ranch and cow boy boots. I have had lots of practice rounding up those trojans!

I already have many friends in the guild, and it is easy to see how active it is. It was hard narrowing the list down to a guild I could dedicate myself to.

As far as what I can contribute, I love to help newcomers to the game get through their early missions. It is actually a bit of a hobby to find people in the first tier and give them a helping hand.

I did read the rules, and I believe I am ready to dedicate myself to Retribution Counsil. This decision was not made lightly, as I will be leaving my old guild of 4+ years due to inactivity.

Hello my name IGN Crazierz!

I'm not to sure when I started playing in 2013 I'm pretty sure but I don'tm know concretly when I actually started but I do have 26 days worth of playtime on my main account and I'll give proof if needed.

When I was in 7th and 8th grade I used to get up at 6 or 7 oclock to play this game everyday (I could). Though I won't lie that I have been inactive before I want to come home on weekdays and be able to talk to a tight-nit (good friends) group of people who are always helpful. I've been in many guilds but I want a guild chat where you never fell lonley and no one else does either.

I am a male of age 15 my birthday is March 27th and I'm a highschooler who is in Drama club and was on my Freshman baseball team (recent), I like to sing, make Youtube videos, write storys, and play videogames and I'd like to try Narration. Some of my cons are that I can be hotheaded which isnt the best with the bleep bloop situation.

Whenever I go on some sort of run, I always see a person or two in my party with the Retribution Council guild tag. I feel like RC is one of the only guilds that has a presence in the game since Jempire left.

I feel like I can contribute a lot of my social aspects to the guild by adding to chat discussions. I also feel like I could help newer players in runs (when I feel like it, and whether they deserve it or not). I am also very knowledgeable about the game, and I can answer people's questions a lot.

Recently I took a break from content, but now I am fresh and addicted again. I usually play quite a bit, but I am taking college courses in high school so some nights I have a lot of homework. Sometimes I may not do it though just to play. . . wink wink.

Care to tell us a bit about yourself as a person?
I have a strange fascination with things considered "abnormal" to society and often find myself watching documentaries about it for no reason. For example I recently watched a documentary about a woman living her life taking care of her family without her legs. Sure it may be boring to some but to me I find it interesting to see how people go about there normal lives in different circumstances for some reason. Let's see what else . . . I am 17 almost 18. I love anime (Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, Deathnote, Death Parade) and also Nintendo. I am your average nerd! I also play League of Legends sometimes. Also, I can make some scary typos.

Well, what stood out most to me is the value of personality/ player aspects rather than gear as well as the amazing sense of community I get from reading about the events and even the videos. Also I am a big fan of the loyalty program, it makes the guild make sure that there are people who are committed to it rather than just passer-bys. Plus, I admire the well typed and explained "information about the guild" sections. . . had me buying the product before selling it!

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
I think I can be someone who can build bridges with those who are shy and those who are comfortable as I was once very shy (sometimes I still am until I warm up to people) and so I like to make sure that the ones who do not speak up are considered and happy, as well the speakers/socializers. Sometimes there needs to be a voice for those who are afraid to voice their ideals or opinions.

I started playing about a year ago, though I had a roughly 4 month break.

I can play for 5-7 days a week for roughly two arcade runs

I am twelve and go to school (duh). I enjoy a variety of sports that include gymnastics, swimming and tennis. I like to joke around and talk in the chat with anyone that wants to. People generally find me as a fun guy.

I am from Ukraine

Whenever I see people from this guild in my arcade runs, I am amazed by how much they help others and their ability to work together. For example the Fry-The-Great (pardon me if Im wrong) helped me defeat the RTwins, he took lead and explained all the tips I needed to know.

I love to farm as well as help beginners with their missions and bosses. I could from time to time (if needed) invite some of my friends to join our guild. If someone needs a teammate in an arcade run, I'll be there. I would regularly donate crowns as well as energy. (and take some as well:)

The rules are very logical and would make the guild more fun, Yes I accept.

When did you begin playing Spiral Knights?
Probably sometime around middle or late 2014, had a strike of inactivity but recently came back. Right now I'm at the rank of Defender Elite.

How frequently do you like playing the game? Because we sure do!
Usually what I end up doing is focusing on one game at a time (during that time I usually play said game 5 or more hrs a week) until I get bored / naturally become inactive due to swapping focus to another game. Unfortunately, this can cause bouts of inactivity that usually lasts from 1-8 months. Generally, though, as long as a game stays in my best interests, I'll pool a moderately large amount of time into it on a regular basis. I usually end up cycling through my main games, so I shouldn't stay inactive for more than a year unless Spiral Knights sinks quite lowly on my interest list or my computer breaks.

Care to tell us a bit about yourself as a person?
I am currently a student with aspirations towards the engineering field. I'm usually the loud/creative person in a friend group (I'm normally more calmer/formal at face value, especially in the virtual world or in serious situations. 'Tis mostly a matter of knowing me well and setting the right atmosphere.). I'm pretty relaxed and like to have humor and general friendliness around, whether in chat or the community as a whole. I'm quite lacking in the athletics department, but I consider myself advanced academically. Sometimes I like drawing, but it's usually limited to a comic style. I also play music; soon I'll be managing three instruments, piano, violin, and trombone.

I am of Chinese descent, though I've lived in the USA as a US citizen my entire life.

Why the Retribution Council, and not other guilds? What do you think makes us different?
I'd like to find a friendly, helpful guild with a sense of community and identity. Sort of like a large neighborhood where everyone knows / connects to everyone else. Those are the ones that make the biggest impressions on the people involved, in my opinion, and the Retribution Council seems like one. The Retribution Council also seems like a guild that won't disappear into oblivion any time soon, like many other communities I've been through. I want to find a guild that I can be proud to call a home, and that when I'm older and remember my days in Spiral Knights, it would be the first thing I remember.

Given the time, if I'm not very busy I like to help people in things like getting past missions, tips/pointers, and guidance on how to continue in their plights. I'm usually the person that gives advice and spreads the optimism. By joining, I'd be adding another social face to the Retribution Council, as well. The more the merrier, right?

Yes, I agree to comply with the rules. I do have a question, though. About being removed from the guild due to inactivity, if you give an advance notice of inactivity with an estimate of the time you will be gone, will you remain unremoved / what will happen to your membership status within the guild, and who should this notice be mailed to?

I really like this game so i plan to play it a lot(probably everyday). I'm 18 funny guy most of time,i like to see the smile on peoples faces,good food,basketball AAND....( you guessed it).... spiral knights!To be honest you're the first guild in sk that I have ever seen who cares about its community most of the others take the game as if it was a bed performance contest.Since its a community guild ill be more than happy to help as much as i can whether it is mission,crowns or ingredients but most importantly i like to animate the chat(i promise none of you will log out without having a good laugh,if I'm connected of course XD).As for the rules I deeply and faithfully submit to them.

Retribution Council Update #6 ( The Big Upgrade )

Howdy folks! As you can tell, it's about time to whip out Retribution Council Update #6! For this one we're going to have our updates posted as usual, but we've also further improved our thread, perks, and the guild itself, as there's never a reason not to make things even better than before! With Summer around, there's no better time for playing the game together. So you better get your shades and flip flops ready, because we're coming in hot!

Let's take a gander at what's going on.

⇒Normal Update⇐

1) As usual, the first is always the in-game applications. These mainly being only my personal favorite getting posted. Take note this'll be our final installment of mailed applications, as we change our system to forums only so our processing of applicants is faster, smoother, and better! Because let's be honest, no one likes to wait long, not even me: Draco-Draco / Hazardous-Anomaly / Lytherinx / Shinury

2) More and more Vana Escort photos have hit the shelves in the Screenshots section! We'll be pausing uploading of these specifically once we hit one-hundred in total. Because let's be real here, do we ''really'' need over one-hundred pictures of the same boss dying over and over? I would say yes, but then again, I'm the insane one.

3) This time we're not just going to hit you up with a few Shadow Lair pictures. Oh no, no, no. We've gone above and beyond. Not one, not two, not three, but six new pictures added at The Sanctuary! Thanks to Summer even more of our players want in on those delicious SL runs, and we've been on it like white on rice. Now to see what horrible names I came up with for them: Thug Life / Thug Life Reloaded / Hail the Great Orb / Explosions by Michael Bay / Kats and Ghouls / Boom! Confetti

4) China, India, and Korea are the newest countries to enter our TeamSpeak! Surprisingly enough, we've gotten quite a large number of Australian and Chinese players as of late, prior to our last update. In other news, regardless of getting more people to play with from Asia, we still haven't had a single player from Japan. Thusly, our search for complete world domination continues..

⇒The Big Upgrade⇐

1) Our original post has been polished even more than before! Of course last time it was already organized, but the ''polishing'' mainly consisted of new wording and sentence structure, as well as generally making it better looking, and improving in even the little things. It's like Pimp My Ride, except on a forum thread. Hell, we even now have our own copyright at the bottom, mainly because it looks more professional... and makes us feel cool.

2) So from our last update, we've been hinting at releasing a brand new unique perk for the guild. As our players have used and appreciated the Exclusive Recipe Bank, we wanted something fresh for everyone to enjoy for their loyalty and support. Presenting the Exclusive Sprite Food Bank! That's right folks, now we have a perk for your sprites! You can read all about it in the original post, at the Exclusive Guild Perks section!

3) Fun fact, we've got even more updates planned that we aren't implementing just yet. These consist of a new directory for our activities, and another promo video for a massive guild event we'll be hosting for our players! Trust us that when we say massive, we hit hard. What our new promo video and event'll be, will be our little secret until the date arrives. The most that can be said, is that our guild is close to reaching an entire year of activity, and what better way than to celebrate, as we'll be around for years to come! Who knows what we plan to do.. Guess you'll need to stay tuned for Retribution Council Update #7!

Sure...why not? I love videogames, spiral knights was the first online videogame I played. I left it because there was a time where it kind of got stuck, but it seems to have quite a lot of new things now. Now I'm back and I feel like a complete noob XD but thanks God this game is not about competitiveness, is more about team work and having a good time with other people; and this is why I want to fully come back here. I'm kind of shy, I don't talk too much if people don't say anything to me. Currently I'm studying at college, it is distance education so I manage my own time and that's why I can play every day :P
I love to help other people so if you guys accept me I promise to help other players, after all I don't play this game just to run Vanaduke and be rich XP I actually prefer to go to regular levels...

Well... a little bit obvious that you guys seem to be more organized thant other guilds. I feel like I can quickly update with the new things and continue growing up in the game with you guys, I like the way you present your own guild. It reflexes how much effort you put into making it work and I would like to be part of it!
And the number 1 reason why I want to join is because you say that this guild is very active, is hard to find a guild that always have players willing to play with its own guild. For some reason people join into a guild but they don't seem to play with that guild's community.

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
By the moment, since I'm not the expert I used to be in spiral knights I can just promise to behave the way you expect me to do. Helping other people and working with everyone in the guild to maintain your reputation the way it is. With the time it would be an honor to be a recognized player that supports his guild in all the possible ways.

7. There's not much I can do as of now because I'm now a noob T^T but I will, once I get to a high enough level, donate any materials that I don't need as well as some few crowns now and then. And I can also help people with jelly runs and other missions that lower level guildmates need help with.

To sum things up, iv'e wanted to join a guild that sounded like it really cared about its members and make a fresh start for me.

First off this guild seems really, really friendly from what i can see from the introduction. They are willing to help their guild mates whenever they need help and I think this is how a guild should be, helping each other in times of need, treating each other as part of their family. Secondly I find this guild very organised. You guys have scheduled vana and SL runs. You have rules that aren't strict and very easy to follow as well. I believe this is a great guild and I really want to be a part of the family.

I like playing video games, but currently, I'm in a "burned out" state where I can't find hardly any games that I enjoy and haven't played before. I also like a variety of movies and TV shows, such as (in no particular order) most of Marvel's movies of the last decade or so, the Toy Story movies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Steven Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans (the ORIGINAL), Gravity Falls, etc...

Why the Retribution Council, and not other guilds? What do you think makes us different? I looked at some other guilds on the Recruitment forum, and decided this looked like the best one. I just kind of have a gut feeling that you guys are the way to go compared to the other guilds, and you've been able to sustain yourselves for a long time now. Plus, I don't do PVP. I refuse to until they do something to address the overpowered Trinkets making it impossible for newcomers to get into it.

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community? I'm new to Tier 3, but I have decent knowledge and skill with the game already, so I can help knights starting out and the ones in Tier 2. I also, as I said already, try to be as friendly as possible, so I'm willing to help fellow knights with missions that are within reason and my current capabilities, and I'm fine with forking over a few Sparks of Life every once in awhile. If I have enough Crowns or rare Materials at my disposal, I'll happily donate to the Guild Treasury when I can.

I believe when spiral knight came out. Last I login was 2011 and so are my long lost friends in spiral knight.

How frequently do you like playing the game?
I just came back to spiral knight and I'm having a blast right now. I will probably play 3-4 times a week. Playing with my sister and my gf. Also, I work around 64-80 hours a week, usually I'm off Tuesday and Wednesday, sometimes Monday. You will see me more often on those days.

I usually play this 7 days a week,and after 5:00 pm on weekdays,when I wake up on weekends.

I chose the Retribution council for several reasons.First,unlike a good amount of guilds I have looked at,isn't selective when it comes to players,and (sadly)really do not like low rankers.Second,no forced donations(Doesn't mean I won't donate,I'm probably gonna bankrupt myself doing this.)Lastly,many people in the clan are very supportive,and try to help when I need it the most.

I can help people in missions,such as reviving and transforming into a meat shield(Ive done this so many times,I don't regret this one bit.)

I play nearly everyday, at least to get the prestige mission. Mostly at night for longer sessions. Sometimes I can play for a full afternoon on the weekends

I'm a developer, I like computers and video games. Aspiring to merge both of these and become an indie dev. Married less than a year ago so now I'm leaning towards games without single long sessions, and more small bits of fun and progress.

Somewhere in the Americas. Not from the north, nor from the south.

This guild looks very good and active. as I mentioned before about switching to gunner, I am now farming to get all my equips up to 5* and heated; and I have realized that soloing FSC is really boring, so I've been going on PUGs but sometimes they don't work out, so I want a reliable group of people to farm with and generally have fun.

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?
I'm up for helping new players with missions, farming bosses, speed running clockworks for recipe hunting and general advice. I also like goofing off sometimes, so being part of a Haven takeover sounds like fun.

Yes, I agree. The specification of being a farming guild is one of the main reasons I became interested in this guild. Especially now that the elevators don't cost energy, there's no reason to beg!
