Something is in the air today! Or tonight. Lots of wiki cleaning/polishing going on - this is not indicative of an event or massive gameplay changes, so do not be alarmed.

But we should celebrate cleaning!

*Throws confetti.*

Now someone clean that confetti up.

the cleaning

Fortunately, the cleaning will apparently take care of the confetti.

I've been working a bit on Abilities. My next project is documenting status immunity more systematically on the wiki (as opposed to the forums). Don't hold your breath however.

More Cleaning

I have decided to not be sensitive about editing freeform or personal pages (something I mentioned being uncomfortable with in this thread). Today I have been in a cleaning mood again, and have gone through adding categories or {{delete}} and redirecting things and all sorts of stuff like that. Apologies to anyone if I break something in the process, I try to be careful, but things happen.

All so we can restore function of certain links in "special pages" without it getting all clogged up with freeform/personal/notverywiki pages.

If y'all don't mind, add [[Category:Users]] to your pages if you have user pages. Cause I'm still slightly uncomfy editing personal pages. And the wiki likes to have categories on everything...but users aren't in the (Main) space so I'm not too obsessed with it. I'll sleep at night.

[[Catagory:Users]] seems like a redundant tag...

Because this exists.
It's just a special page search with the User prefix. It does add in all the subpages in the search, but also provides many pages of all the user pages.

It's redundant for us, but having categories on everything is something wikis like to do, but yeah, it seems to only really react about things in the (Main) space. Hence me not caring about it so much. So, to prevent anyone from doing silly work, I'll redirect the category Unicornkitty made in 2011, in case there's any external links. It would TOTALLY be the end of the world if external sights linked to dead/gone/derpy pages! *glares at Steam* Do you even try Steam, DO YOU?

Namespace search restrictions are great, I've been utilizing them for the "things to do" project here. Another thing that can use some tweaking/feedback.

I super duper wish that guilds were in a sort of Guild: namespace and weren't in the "random page" pool.

EDIT: okay apparently I can't soft redirect (which is supposed to work for special pages?) Bleh. Unless I'm just missing something silly. Linking for now.

Category:Subpages

Is there a version of Category:Subpages somewhere I don't know about? I've made one for guild subpages, but before I create+stick this thing everywhere, I'd like to know if it already exists.

Icons

I am forcing the "Category:Icon images" to be more organized using a tedious method, but it is allowing me to find and take care of duplicate files very quickly. Anyone know of a less tedious method for this mostly pointless task? Something like #if, true, etc.? (I totally know what I'm talking about. no I don't.)

Oh, if only earlier editors had uploaded these to filenames like "costume-blahcostumename icon" instead of "equipment - blahcostumename icon" and so on (for accessories too)...but back then there wasn't even an arsenal tab for costumes...so I understand, but still, *wince*
