Notable Entities/Forms of Life:
Isoran: Humanoid sentient living being with dark translucent skin, rather long legs and arms, a short torso and a big, circular head. They are
very much likely vertebrates. Set on their head, there are two pupil-less bright-coloured glowing eyes which can assume different human-like expressions.
They were originally the indigenous population of planet Isora, but are now stranded on Cradle.
The Isorans were divided in two principal factions: The Spiral Order and the Morai Legion, check out the factions and groups section for more info about them.
-Almirian:

Factions/Organizations/Groups:
-Kat Tribe: Dark-magic practising tribe. They were envious about the alchemical and magical skills of the Owlites, a population close to where the Kats inhabited. After years of harsh wars, they tried, and somewhat succeeded, in stealing the knowledge of their foes, though destroyed their own Tribe in the act of doing such thing. Margrel, known among the Kat tribe for being very unlucky, opened the book of Owlite magic and accidentally cast a spell on both his enemies and his own tribe, killing the Owlites and turning the Kats into haunting ghosts.
-Owlites: Pacific humanoid creatures, they had owl-like heads and featured a pair of wings on their backs. They were extremely skilled magicians and alchemists, who knew most of the secrets laying inside the clockworks. They were also named the Guardians, as they kept the beasts from the Underworld far from the living beings of the surface.
-Iron Clan/Recon Rangers: An Elite group from the Spiral Order, formed by highly trained assassins, with the task of killing high priority Morai targets, such as army officers. As the Knights allied with the Morai and landed on Cradle, the former members of the Iron Clan, now renamed Recon Rangers, decided to specialize on extremely dangerous tasks which aren't normally taken by common Knights.
-Crimson Order: The group of gremlins closest to King Tinkinzar.
It is currently unknown who are all of the members of the Order, but two have been recognized, these being Warmaster Seerus and Whispering Venom Herex. It looks like the members of the Crimson Order are not in a peaceful state, since they seem to send assassins to kill one another. The reasons of such “assassin war” among them is currently unknown.
-The Spiral Order: Composed by somewhat more mentally evolved, though slightly less strong and resistant, Isorans, who specialized in new kinds of weaponry and wanted to save their planet by finding more reliable ways to power their cities, machineries and transports.
-The Morai Legion: Composed mainly by the Morai who are pretty much a taller, tougher, but most of the times less intelligent version of the Isorans in general. They were once considered simply the predecessors of the current Isorans on the scale of evolution, and were mostly exploited by the Knights.

Notable Places/Planets:
-Isora: A once beautiful planet, it is now completely out of resources and its
unstable atmosphere made it impossible to inhabit. It was home to the Isorans
(See Notable Entities/Forms of Life), but was abandoned after the two Great Morai Wars. The first started because the Morai were being exploited by the more evolved Knights, who used them as labourers. This situation created a great tension between Knights and Morai, which exploded in a mass conflict that lasted two years. After nearly one quarter of the Isoran population was exterminated, the Morai finally obtained freedom and moved to the South of the planet.
Years later, along with the Knights, the Morai noticed a heavy environmental change on the planet, and realized that their constant request of energy and resources was becoming unsustainable for Isora’s unstable atmosphere, so they decided to gather their last resources to power up a massive spaceship and leave the planet. This decision was heavily countered by the members of the Spiral Order, who said that moving from place to place and draining each’s resources and energy would’ve made them parasites. An enormous campaign advertising both the Spiral Order and the Morai Legion’s choice started and new conflicts born along with it, creating another tense situation which successively gave start to the Second Morai War. This war left both the Morai and the Knights completely out of supplies, and decimated the population of the planet.
The Morai Legion and the Order finally decided to ally and build a gigantic spaceship, the Skylark, to host the few thousands of Isorans who survived the war and the drastic atmospheric change, and leave their home.
The Spiral Order mainly organized the mass departure of the population, while the Morai used their superior workforce to project and build the Skylark. In around one year, the whole Isoran community left the planet. Isora’s current environmental status is unknown.
-Cradle: A rather small planet nearly half as big as Isora. It is most remarkable for what lies under its surface, the ever-changing structure often referred to as Clockworks (See Clockworks, under here). It seems to be mostly made out of other planets’ large chunks, the reason of this is unknown, but some Isoran Geo Knights have theorized that the core of the planet is somehow able to attract and plant around itself different layers of organic or non-organic matter.

Spiral Order
Spiral Order was established roughly 400 years before skylark fall, after a group known as the 'Sons of Isora' defeated the Spiral Confederacy, the tyrannical government came before the Spiral Order. After the planet was liberated, the 'Sons of Isora' was split apart into two factions, one led by Oceanus who demanded a democratic reformation, the other led by Hyperion, who wanted to form a totalitarian government. In the end, Oceanus was assassinated and Spiral Order took over control of the planet and its people. Their reign was fair, or at least slightly better than the Spiral confederacy, but is lesser evil ever an excuse for tyranny?
The Gremlin Army chain of command
The Great colony is the heart of the Gremlin war effort against the Spiral Order, with their Holy emperor, lord Tinkinzar as the supreme commander. Their army is split into five parts. I am putting in the Nazi German army factions here as a comparison.
Tinkinzar = Hitler = Supreme commander
Crimson Order = Gestapo = Secret intelligence
Dark fang = Waffen-SS = Elite veterans
Iron claw = Wehrmacht = Standard infantries
Tender foot = Volksstrum = Civilian soldiers
The Morai War
In a short span of 30 years, after two devastating civil wars, Spiral knights' home planet Isora was at her knees. The planet can no longer sustain its population and admiral Ozlo shepherded what was left of the Isoran orbital fleet to a distant galaxy hundreds of light years away from Isora, to an alien planet named Ruia. Their goal was simple, Isora's planet core was depleted of energy and a new planet's energy core must be sacrificed to revive Isora. Like a knight could be revived with a spark of life, Isora too could be saved in the same fashion.
But as they approached the Alien planet Ruia, they were attacked by the planet's inhabitant, the Morais, Ruia was also ruled by a tyrannical emperor, Dues Aradama, who twisted the Morai genome, mutating them into mindless servants of his will: fulfilling his depraved dream of galactic conquest. Upon making planet fall, the Spiral knight marines found themselves jammed in a brutal onslaught with a legion of genetically engineered Morai soldiers. Despite the fire support from the fleet's warships, the spiral knights could not crack the defenses of the Morai capital city.
Slowly loosing the war of attrition and his capital ships, Ozlo dispatched the Iron wolves, an elite teams of operatives to assassinate the Morai emperor in a last ditch attempt to break the Morai legion's morale. The iron wolves battled their way into the imperial palace before facing down the mighty Dues Aradama, despite team rookie Desna's heroic effort in slaying the mad emperor, the victory came at a terrible prize, every iron wolves except for Desna had died during the engagement, she later on established the recon rangers in remembrance of her lost comrades.
Much to Ozlo and all of his advisers' dismay, the Morai legion fought on and eventually pushed the Spiral knights off from the planet surface. It was bloody retribution for the death of their emperor, whose influence still lingered on.
Upon knowing that the admiral ordered the use of capital weaponry in order to eradicate the Morai race, Ozlo's female vice-admiral, Biscotti, went on a mutiny to persuade Ozlo not to commit holocaust. But it was too late, Ozlo looked into the mirror and all he saw was the Morai emperor, grinning indiscriminately at the slaughter he had committed on Ruia. After arresting Biscotti and demoting her to a chef on board a smaller cruiser named Skylark, Ozlo ordered the extermination of planet Ruia for costing him so much men and materials.
Desna, knowing that Ozlo was insane, sabotaged his flag ships reactor core and ruined any chance of Ozlo taking planet Ruia's power core and revive Isora. The Morai race was saved from extermination, but Isora was doomed as Ozlo witnessed his flag ship smashed into Ruia's planet surface and the rest of his fleet decimated by the Morai planetary defenses. Only Skylark managed to escape the massacre.
Vowed to destroy Desna, Ozlo engaged the iron wolf rookie in mortal combat at the crash site of his flag ship. After a grueling duel, Desna spared Ozlo's life when she was informed by Kora that Skylark's captain died from a missile attack and the only person who had any experience in commanding a large cruiser like Skylark was none other than Ozlo, the last remaining captain of the fleet. Again, fate cackled at the Admiral's misery.
The rest, was history, both Desna and Ozlo denied the past at the faces of new born knights. The dark deeds of Ruia campaign shall never pass their lips and the Spiral Order will forever remain as the righteous defenders of Isora in the children's memory. Ozlo knew fully that if he tried to kill Desna, she would certainly spill out his bloody past and drag him down to the firing squad with her, and Vice Versa. In this grim dark world, the universe knew only war... cradle shall be both our heaven and our hell, this is, our outer heaven.
