Derp. I've been on an on-again-off-again streak. /sigh/ anything happen while I was gone?
So inactive geez
Besides midnight's pretentiousness at an all time high, someone got al one with the Valkyries a lot faster than we did, but me gusta. I doubt this place will change much, so long as OOO remains stagnant content-wise.
And I joined the mix. (The reason controversy follows Christians is they shun other religions and hail one god. There's evidence the whole religion might be based off mushroom hallucinations BTW)
Controversy follows Christians because people feel guilty just by our existence. We don't even have to say anything for people to start justifying themselves. And why? It's not like most Christians go around expressing their opinion to everyone. Most of them would rather live peaceably and quietly. But people still feel guilty and judged anyway.
Don't say that we judge people. Everyone judges. Asking someone not to judge is like asking someone not to breathe. What matters is how we act on that judgment. And for the most part, Christians almost invariably act charitably toward everyone, both those they've judged positively and those they judged negatively.
Controversy follows us, not because we judge, but because you judge us.
More importantly, it follows us because we're right and you know it deep down but don't want to accept it.
Wow this really took a turn down a rough patch of road.
@OP: Lot's of stuff. Let me shamelessly link you to my pet project before continuing to make my lengthy response to this rather derailing discussion. (If this will keep up much longer, can we continue under a more fitting thread?)
There's evidence the whole religion might be based off mushroom hallucinations BTW
I find this to be hilarious because, if this were true, I must be a Mushroom Man! Yay! (No I have never heard of the game before. But I Googled and it was the first thing to come up so I linked it.)
Anyway, I think part of the problem has to do with people thinking what they believe has got to be better than everyone else's. I really think that everyone, even non-Christians, could gain something by reading Romans 14: "Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother...For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." (verses 13 and 17) Of course, this could apply to evolution and a lot of other stuff. (Heck, I think the theory of evolution is very likely, yet I'm a Christian.)
Oh, hey, I just remembered that I've been meaning to talk to Thinslayer about guild-business stuffz! EDIT: I'll mail you in game next time I log in, which should be tomorrow.
@Autofire: Guild business, eh? You have my attention.
One response in and we mentioned religious arguments. Oh boy.
A whole lot of nothing happened. I'm still waiting for a new RP since I have a lot of character ideas.
What Critzer said. Anyway, just wondering. Does anyone here play Smash?
I do! I play Super Smash Bros Wii U, and I own (but don't play anymore) Super Smash Bros Brawl. You?
@thinslayer: actually, besides schoolwork, smash is the main reason I haven't been active recently. Anyway, I have brawl and a Project M. PM is a mod for brawl that makes it more like melee. I love it: it has the fast paced melee gamestyle, all characters from both melee and brawl, and best of all, Mewtwo is literally in his own tier because he's such a good character. I love Mewtwo
Found this while searching for fanart of Vana w/o mask

-I am still waiting for you to color my drawing.
-Thinslayer tried to start a new RP involving massive armies, too hard and he quit while still not realizing why controversy follows Christians.
-I am done taking requests my self for the most part, university started and my energy is diverted else where.
-I made a story about a talking robot, BOOM.
-Prize boxes are now purchased with energy again.
Aaand that is about it...
