Game client closing every now and then

The game client constantly closes for no apparent reason and it's really bugging me. I can go back to what I was doing before once I restart the client, but after the game client closes my knight is still vulnerable to attack. This has caused me to unnecessarily use sparks of life on multiple occasions. Is there a fix for this? BTW, I am opening it from Steam if it makes any difference.

That one seemed to be the most helpful, because it got a response from Helios. The one that mentioned windows 8 I dont think was ever resolved...
That being said, your best luck is doing what Helios mentioned in the other thread - send a bug report.

Yes, please do make a bug report. If you submit the report after the game crashes the system will still be able to capture what happened up until the crash, making it much easier for us to see what the game is trying to do.
If you haven't submitted a bug report before you can make one any time the game is running by pressing F2 or after you choose your knight by using the /bug chat command.
Please post back once you make the report and I'll know it's there to investigate.

Hi Helios, I did what you suggested on the other thread but the client still shuts down completely for no apparent reason from time to time. I have already submitted a bug report when it happened a few hours ago, don't know if you can still track it.

Found your report, it was very helpful. It looks like the game is being foiled by an out of date graphics driver. The crash in the bug report notes that the driver software for Intel integrated graphics your pc uses was the fault point.
Thankfully these kinds of problems can usually be resolved by updating the graphics driver using the most current release from Intel's Download Center. The link below should be the most recent graphics driver for your PC.

Hi Helios, I updated the Intel graphics driver but the game still closes randomly from time to time. I will send another bug report when I encounter it again.
There have been plenty of threads about this happening on windows 8. I dont have windows 8 to figure out which setting needs to be change to stop it from closing.
