Put up walls on the sell side, smother buy offers. People will be less likely to post an offer to buy if they only earn 5 crowns compared to 500.

Make crowns desirable.
When crowns are desirable, energy is converted to crowns.
When energy is desirable, people will buy energy at even high prices.
Honestly all we need is a larger influx of energy coming in, such as an energy/box promo, or a panicked/new crown sink, such as featured auction flash sales or a UV ticket vendor that basically is a featured auction house for UVs. Perhaps this place could have new special UVs not acquirable via the RNG system (armor would have bonus vs family, weapons could have a flat damage bonus [up to medium], have damage bonus VS lockdown classes that go up to VH, bomb fuse time reduction, etc)
You need to have the market continuously moving. When the market is slow, players are still generating crowns. When the market is fast, players are not generating crowns. When the market is a reasonable speed, crowns are coming in and going out of the system, thus steady rates for all.
Get hunterxxy to stop buying out all the sale offers then. <- Actual serious response.
