Seriously, OOO Put the shared loot back.
Put this back
How about a tradeoff? Bring shared belt items back in exchange for removing all health pods and buyable healing items.
They took that out to prevent alt farming, which made it easier to get money as F2P. (66k per hour vs the current 44k max per hour, for farming FSC).
Also, shared loot made noobs feel like you were taking their money (got kicked before from collecting crowns for a noob. Poor clueless thing...).

I'm sorry, but I doubt this is a real problem. I've never had this issue with anyone, although I have been confronted once or twice a few years back for picking up a mineral someone else wanted.
Nah, it isn't a real problem at all. Main one was the alt farming.
Though arena looping was worse (better).
And my mistake, the max amount of cph is 88k, not 66k.
I got a question. What is wrong with alt farming?
If you're skilled enough to carry a 4man party all by yourself why exactly shouldn't you be rewarded for that?
Because the game might suddenly reward skill and we just can't have that?
ellthan, I think it's against the rules to control more than one character at the same time. it doesn't reward skill, it rewards having a computer that can run four SK applications at the same time. it gives quite the unfair advantage over other players, since you get 4x the rewards for 2x difficulty. it distrupts the cr earned over time curve that the developers use to estimate how fast will you progress at any given time, that gives you a fair challenge in terms of monster difficulty. you can have three knights on one account, and they interact with each other only through having the same energy pool: that's how OOO has chosen to handle things and that how it should go.

OOO reward players for skills? Then why are there Chaos set, BKC and Brandishes?

OH SNAP, Dj, epic retort.
Another thing was the main was the party leader 100% of the time, so when they were carrying alts, the other players in the party just had to put up with it. This is still the case, but due to alts being more difficult to carry, it's a smaller problem.
I have to admit I had an army of alts since before the mist energy removed, but alt dragging wasn't in my interest, (I've always been against alt dragging) alt crafting was.
I justified it to myself and to people who asked by explaining that having a constant influx of 1 and 2 star items into the market meant that tier 2 players had a much easier time testing out new weapons, and tier 3 players had a far easier time obtaining UVs.
Non-UV'd 1 star weapons set you back a measly 500-700 crowns, and 2 star weapons went for around 2k, the final price depending on the desirability of UVs for the weapon (flourishes, autoguns and brandishes were rarely more expensive than 1.5k, while troikas, shocking edges, plate mail, and vitasuit plus's sold for up to 3k due to how infrequently they were crafted and back then Driftwood and Blue Shards were bloody expensive)
Now you don't see 2 star equipment selling for less than 5k, and the price of 3 star equipment has risen by at least 7,000 crowns.
@Midnight-Dj
You mention BKC, and brandish in the same sentence, so I can't pick up your point.
@Thunder-The-Bright
Running 4 sk applications at the same time isn't anything stressful or difficult.
I'm playing on a laptor with a mediocre graphics card and running 4 has nearly no effect on FPS.
And its 4x the rewards for a 4man party difficulty. That's a pretty balanced effort to reward.
The rest of your argument is basically saying that the devs don't want players to advance based on how good their are, but instead how fast the devs want.

Spiral Knights' performance isn't GPU dependent.

Explain how it's 4x?
@All
Just wanted to bring up that if you have not spent a cent on the game, multi-boxing with 3 alts is explicitly prohibited. Even with the removal of Mist Energy, I don't see why this restriction would be removed: the restriction for looping of levels certainly wasn't.
Monster Health
Normal: 100%
Advanced: 150%
Elite: 200%
1 Player: 100%
2 Players: 133%
3 Players:166%
4 Players: 199%
Player Defenses (speculation)
Normal: 2x base defense
Advanced: default base defense
Elite: base defenses stripped to 0
Carrying 3 people with heightened artificial difficulty isn't challenging, it's just boring and lengthy unless you have appropriate/effective gear. Then it just becomes boring. But that's just me.
Anyway, I think my biggest issue with instanced loot is simply the fact that you can't share usables/vitapods items anymore. Sure, I personally don't mind instanced money and heat, I mean each grab what they want; but if I want to give my teammate a pill because their HP is low and I feel like I have no need for them, I think it'd be nice if I was able to. Because teamwork.
Same beef goes with sharing HP; I personally think it was a sad excuse as to why they removed it, but that's just me.
GG having your own stash of health pills and remedies.
