I was helping these guys out in fsc and after defeating vanaduke, this pops up in just 1 green box.
Any other stories of stuff popping out of boxes?
Is it possible that 3 darkfang shields can pop up in 1 box?
I NEED ANSWERS!

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.
there's a chance to drop triple rarities. including 9 radiants at once. happened to me once.

Sorry, didn't express myself correctly. I meant to say you won't be getting multiple equipment drops (weapons, shields, etc) from boxes.

This happens.
You are far from the first. I've once gotten 3 Eternal Orbs from one green box in the Arcade and 3 Elite Orbs from one box in a RJP run. There are posts of this happening for several other people as well. I never thought of it being a coding error, but that would make sense.

I think it kind of makes sense as an error if there aren't any doublets and only triplets. It might as well be intentional, though. Sounds like a very strange bug.

Definitely not an error
It makes perfect sense that all rarities only drop in threes. You need 3 orbs to craft everything. All 100% forges are multiples of three. This is why you can get 3,6,9, or in extremely rare cases 12 (seems like it'd be possible, can't say I've seen it) fire crystals from a box. For Orbs and sparks they probably cut the rate down by a multiplier, say .1x or .01x. (probably somewhere in between). So you can get 0,1,or in rare cases 3 sparks/orbs from one box.
Man, it would be nice if they would give us the real numbers on drop rates. It wouldn't be harmful in any way but it would just be nice to know.

In all the data I've taken, its either been 3 or 9 fire crystals, never 6 or 12.

Sols and orbs rarely drop in 3s due to the fire crystals, which always come in packs of three. Something something coding error. Many players have had these lucky drops.
This only applies to rarities, you're not going to get multiple items from boxes.
