Back last year I made a poll that asked for shard bombs to be strengthened, and even had the option to re-introduce the old Shard Bombs back into some form to Spiral Knights. After a long while, here are the results: utterly shocking

Here is the thread for it: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/104220

Question: Shard bomb buff?

- Yes
- No
- Yes, and previous shards re-introduced
- No, but previous shards re-introduced
- Don't know

As you can see, there is major demand for the bombs to be buffed, and a higher demand for the old Shard Bombs to make some sort of comeback.

8 comments in the thread over the course of 4 days yielding 207 tallies.

I'd be more likely to question the validity of the poll results than the impact of the polled results.

@Skepticraven: if you're suggesting that someone spammed the "yes" option, I could agree. Although, wouldn't people who oppose spam the disagreeing options to counter the results?

Meep.

People spamming results creates an inaccurate, artificial uncertainty upon this poll. Wouldn't it be best to actually have a petition, where you could validate the amount of people with names, wanting for shard bombs to be re-introduced? Another option is to use a much fairer option, strawpoll, which doesn't show people's information or as such. It just records one's vote and then disables them from voting again.

Anybody with half a brain

Anybody with half a brain realizes that the shard bombs are trash and need a rework, especially since one of them is a premium pay-box exclusive.
But I highly doubt it'll ever get any attention because it isn't clear who, if anyone, is in charge of directing the game anymore. As far as I can tell, it's just Geordie babysitting bi-weekly patches for 'content' that was queued up a year in advance.
