(( School is coming up and a lot of things has disturbed my ability to post on time. If an important even is happenung feel free to powerplay chael ))

"Well there is no bombs... But there is something off here. I'm not an engineer nor a technichan, so if you feel like one feel free to come here" Chael stood up. He carried the damaged robot inside the rescue camp, since letting it lie down on the entrance is a bit cruel. Besides, Knights seems to group up near the campfire, one might help.

Ragnir nodded. "All right, then. I'm going to get some sleep. New comlink address is the same as the old one if you need me."

Ragnir walked off, heading toward the supply tent. No, wait, that was the mess tent- Ragnir wasn't hungry. After turning away from the mess tent, Ragnir spotted the supply tent, and moved toward it to go grab a sleeping bag.

Oh, right. Dog-head wanted to chat. What did the Iron Wolves do again? Eh, whatever. I'll go find a nice quiet spot.

After walking around the side of the supply tent, Ragnir called Amaria's comlink. "So, what is it you want to talk about?" Ragnir suppressed a yawn. Hope he makes this quick.

Placing his helm back on, more or less for silence to speak, the Swordsmen took a deep breath before he spoke.

"Greetings I suppose," his voice tired from the days events, having a bit of a gravel tone, "I was going to relay information on the furry creatures who seemed to be attacking. As it stands I see they have a since of hierarchy. Lowly grunts to what I can only assume are officer's, on the same note I can add this as a stub note: They can heal injured on the field with some kinda energy."

He paused for a moment as he recalled the event.

"I watched an injured creature, clearly on death's door, have a lethal wound healed as if it never happened. It then proceeded to hope back up like new life had been injected into it's body. As it stands, should another fight break out, Priority targets must be the medical unit's. Seeing as they have vastly better field healing abilities, I can only assume they have other weapons or powers. That is all I can report. Remember this and give it too an officer of your normal unit's in the event I can not."

"Also, thank you for tuning to this channel. If you need me just ask. Amaria out."

Suddently, another knight enters Amaria's chat frequency.
"Yes, I've met these creatures too. Big butterflies with...silky wings emmiting a blue energy field. They're rather weak tough.

In fact, I was planning to go report this and some information on these wolver dogs to a CO, but none are present. The closest person there is here is a Guardian keeping watch on an elevator entrance, and I've allready fed him with my intel. The Wolvers are capable of digging holes trough the ground to get to their prey at incomprehensible speeds, it's like theyre warping around, teleporting.

Also, sorry if I startled you. Mundy Vakarian, out."

WARRIOR... RETURN TO LIFE!

"All right, thanks for the heads up. Ragnir out."

Ragnir shut off his comlink. Well, that was less unpleasant than he'd expected... healers. Ragnir had to wonder how they did it...

No, no he didn't. He needed sleep before his eyes decided to mutiny. Ragnir checked the supplies, and quickly acquired an extra sleeping bag.

Ragnir turned toward a watching supply officer. "...Y'mind if I take this? ...Sir?"

"Go ahead. We've got too many of those left in reserve."

"All right, thanks." With that, Ragnir found a place to rest near the Starpod, and wriggled into the sleeping bag, then shut his eyes. Phew...

(( Actually I think thin need to advance the plot fast or this will go down the shitter. Anyway yeah, let's put a bump ))

Chael rested his back againts the 'natural' dirt wall. His finger's currently twirling a firecracker. "I wish I can have thet experiment" he noted the poison vial test they denied. "Oh well, gonna check on command" He sighed. With a few meters walk he found a dissapointment at the point that cherub isn't there.

Standing tall the Swordsmen made his way to the center of camp. If anything but to get a feel for the over all need. Currently from what he could tell the man in charge was running around like chicken with it's head cut off.

This place is in need of command outside of the one commissioned officer. If anything the CO here needs to get a hold of the Captain, outside of that one of lieutenants to start getting people in line. Outside of grunt work I am best as a forward recon unit, meaning unless they need something moved from point A to B or reconnissance work, I am all but useless. Then again Spiral Assassins arn't very well taken.

Taking a steady pace around the camp, more or less wondering with his eyes open but mind adrift he thought to himself.

Not our fault, thats what we do. Live and die by the blade, and honor in our eyes. Not to say much about these gun totting loonies they let run lose. Added to it the psycho's with bombs. Bah, they have no honor, to fight with out a blade is to have no heart, no soul in your work...

Filler!

Skyla's body lay on the ground, twisted and battered- sucking in the air to process it into Crystal Energy off of which to run on.
A few recruits shakily pointed their gun at Skyla, thinking she was a retrode, only to be knocked down by some superiors for attempting friendly fire.
Meanwhile, a heated conversation took place in a fluffy, sharp, and electric hubworld- The excess processing still being used to create a visual world for an offline robot- Dreaming, in a way.
"What the hell do you mean, I'm part of you!?"
"As simple as it sounds. We share the same body- nothing more."
"Even if you are right, that doesn't exactly sound FAIR! Why should I stay cooped up in here, while you go off to dang-heck and possibly get yourself killed, along with me? Why shouldn't I get equal use of our body!?!?"
The Cobalt colored thing resembling Skyla sighed, "Because I plan to get you your own body, and I came first- I know how to force you to be stuck here, Forever."
The Scarlet colored light resembling Lyra merely grunted in dissaproval, and stalked away.
Skyla thought to herself in dissapointment, 'That history lesson is way overdue for her, isn't it...?'

-
Skyla reawoke, rising from the ground.
Trying not to stretch the loose motors, gears, and pulleys, Skyla hobbled over to look for the nearest mechanic.
Observing the sky and clock, it seemed a few hours had passed.

"Bless the stars, you're running again."
Mundy was standing near a Computer Box, looking at a holo page from something connected to her insides. Scanners, plugin terminals, sinapses and a small power battery were coming loosely from Skyla's chassis holes, all of them now emptied of the foreing gear previously clumped with her.
"Dont worry, I didnt access your hardware, I was just fixing your limbs. And also your, um, new armor."

He pointed at Skyla's body, and she noticed that it had been modified. Most scratches were melded carefully, some of the plating even seemed to have been re-placed with plates matching the texture and color of the armor. Her loose arm was reconected with a semi-rigid articulation. Looking further down to her legs, the gray armor plates were now thinner, as some of it was cut and woven smoothly into her skin to plug some of the holes. The cloth had been replaced from the torso to the waist, now making a skirt reaching just above the knee.

"I tried to be carefull not to deform your, um, feminine design. The materials you brought were sent to the depot, weapons aside. I thougt about stripping that armor from you to take a deeper look but, um, I think you're more suited to look at your insides than me..."
Mundy glanced at a holo journal glowing brightly against the night, placed next to the Comp. Box.
"I salvaged your helm for plating to repair your armor. I dont assume you'll need it, right?"

Amiss his mindless wondering, more or less just doing his rounds, the Swordsmen happened upon what looked like a man repairing a robot. Of course Ameria wasn't akin to repairing bots, let alone programming at all, his skills lied more in dismantling then assembling. Coming to rest at a post, watching the man work and talk to the bot he just contemplated about the current situation and the units he knew could respond at a moments notice.

Well the bot is out of the question, and the gear-head is going to be working on that unit for a while. More or less they are both useless in a fight. The rest of the unit's here can battle, but they would do better with ranged considering the state of things, no what has me worried is why have we been here so long, even only a few hours, with out any kinda word from command or the higher brass. Something is a miss here.

Walking closer the Swordsmen keep his sword arm primed on his weapon, taking careful steps to get a closer look at the downed bot. Blame it on his natural want to understand his station or maybe he just wanted to know the full extent of what happened to the unit in general.

After typing a few commands on the console, Mundy noticed an Iron Wolf slowly circling around his block. It's hand was griping a sheathed sword's handle. "Dont worry, she's with us.", Vakarian said, and so the Wolf approached slowly with gaze locked at Skyla. It's hand was still gripped with the blade.
...No. Too obvious for an assassin. I allready told it that Skyla's friendly... it must be keeping guard against something else.

After a minute of silence, Mundy slowly crouched to his bag and picked up his Blaster. The defense turrets were still undeployed and the camp fire was burning a bit too brigthly. Maybe he should keep guard as well. He casualy slipped the gun in his holster and went back to the computer.

The Camp

Skyla sat, waiting for Mundy to finish- giggling all the while.
She thought it was amusing how considerate he was about it- enough that it seemed he was unfamiliar with females in general.
She burst out laughing, and wiped away a few tears that weren't there.
Eventually, she calmed down- She looked at Mundy and smiled, if nothing more to reassure him he was okay.
Now that she was done laughing, she had to think about what he actually said.

"Well, it's actually pretty hard to reach some places- even with arms that rotate every which way..."
Skyla shook her head, realizing that it actually was a pretty embarrassing topic.
"Do you have anything left of the helm? I haven't had much time to do... Self maintenence."

Skyla was deep in thought, before she remembered that she wasn't the only one in need.
"Actually, uhm... There's an additional... how do I put this... Personality, in here," Skyla said, tapping her head, "But my designer is long gone. Building another body from scratch without blueprints is rather difficult. How should I fix this problem...?"

"S-so you have a secondary AI in there, I see?" Mundy tought he didnt have to ask the obvious, but Skyla's giggles trew him in an awkward mood.
"Well, Battle Sprites were aways good at hosting unknown tecnology, maybe if we found one we could transfer your, uh, guest.....about you movement issues, I tought about uplinking with your, uh, head to help write some of the movement patterns, but, I imagine you can do that on your own?"
"Anyway, your helmet." he fiddled with his bag and came up with a hollowed helm. " I only stripped its external shell for plating, everything else is in there." Mundy handed the stripped helm to Skyla.

Walking closer the Swordsmen kept his noise minmal as to try and not ruin the moment. Not every day he saw a Gear-head falling for a robot based on a woman. An unseen snicker game across his face as he let go of the sword the sound of the heavy chain on his shackle shaking all the way down. Outside of his curved blade, the only other note able feature was the shackle attacked to his sword hand.

Should have known someone like him would trip around something like that.

Coming into the room he made his actions slow showing off his quiet abilities if anything else, despite already being seen.

Skyla looked over to the approaching 'Iron Wolf' suddenly sensing something was wrong.
His chains made no noise. Skyla noted this odd fact, as it seemed to break the laws of gravity.
Skyla nodded to the newcomer, whether in respect, or worry- her face blankened.

Suddenly, Skyla started dissasembling her bad arm- plates, screws, gears, bolts and knuts, the other kind of bolts, springs, and more gears came flying off, and next to Skyla, precision picking everything apart, just to put it back together better.
It was over just as fast as it had begun- a matter of minutes.
...That's odd, why are there a few leftover parts?

Mundy was taken by surprise by Skyla's sudden and immediate repairs, detaching the articulation he installed almost like it was a parasite of sorts. A few minutes later, it was replaced by a much better articulated joint, crafted on the fly.
"Well, nevermind writing movement patterns, you can take care of yourself, a-allright." he said in an almost startled manner, as Skyla's repair procedure was a bit too spontaneous for him. He went back to his computer.

Should I even have bothered with mending her chassis at all? I could've just left a solding tool and... stoping himself in his own toughts, Mundy walked away from the console.
"I'll go check the depot, maybe they have a long-range scanner I could use to track down were the Battle Sprite storages fell. If they fell anywhere at all"

Amaria -> 'Amartia (ha-mar-tia) = Greek for "sin"

Rust and vines covered the old depot whence Mundy sought his scanner. On his way there, he might have noticed curious black specks from the corner of his eye. Wiping said eye didn't make them go away. They seemed so close, yet so far, like the special effects of a 3D movies. They must be a curious feature of this place.

At any rate, the depot doors opened easily enough. There he found a the remains of broken and destroyed battle sprites, from which much of the metal was salvaged.

Meanwhile, as Amaria practiced, it occurred to him that there were odd shapes moving off to his left. Zombies, they looked like...

Taken for a moment from the sight, perhaps his eyes playing tricks on him or perhaps lack of sleep from the crash taken hold the Swordsmen ripped the blade from where it once rested. As it came from it's sheath it made a crackling hiss, much like a ashes coming off a blazing inferno. Taking a more battle ready stance, his blade not held out right but rather backwards from what most sword user's of the order use, he dashed off in the direction of the creature.

What sort of evil is this.

He pondered as Ameria saw the shambling bodies moving across the land, they looked, weathered as if they had been around for a very long time. Hoping they didn't see him the swordsmen slowed down to all but a creeping halt. He needed to get a better idea of what was going on, of course this was his kinda work anyway might as well get someone on the horn.

Reaching up he started fiddling with his comm. unit hoping to get on the camp's main channel.

Mind as well.

Den snapped awake, the dreadful feeling one gets when waking up with the intention of catching an appointment of vital importance, swarming his mind. Instead, there was the silence of night, black and cold.

When the moment had finally caught up, Den shook his head as if to clear the drops of slumber clinging to his mind. Behind him, the dancing fire light restored his orientation. Had he really walked that far away?

"I better head back," Den mumbled anxiously, and drew himself back to the light.

"This is Iron Wolf Ameria, walking corpse are heading to the main part of the camp, repeat..."
He heard something reply over the comm, but it didn't sound human. Just then, he heard wild cries from the knights at Rescue Camp. They were under attack!

And when Den arrived, things looked no better - knights were brawling with mecha knights in the very center of Rescue Camp, where they were keeping the wounded.

"This is Iron Wolf Ameria, walking corpse-"

"Shuddup!" Ragnir said in his sleep, on instinct... before realizing what he'd just heard. "Son of a- More of them?!"

Well, it wasn't quite a full night's sleep, but it'd have to do. Ragnir lifted his Iceberg Hammer and charged toward the center of camp, adrenaline already rushing through his veins. Hell's bells, where's Rega?!

Ragnir forced himself to pay attention to the situation in the middle of the Rescue Camp. Some of those robot knights... Ragnir had scrapped with one before and had come within a hair's-breadth of serious injury.

But they were headed for the wounded, and someone had to stop them. Ragnir let out a loud battle cry and charged, readying his Iceberg Hammer's ferocious Charged Smash as he bellowed, "Hoy, morons! Try pickin' on someone your own size!"

-------

Rega ducked into the tent Mundy was fixing Skyla in. "Oh, come on! Are the killer robot attacks a daily thing?!"

Rega looked around her, grumbling under her breath about the robots as she got her bearings... eww, something smelled like death. Peering outside, she spotted...

"Great. Zombies, too?" Ignoring Skyla and anyone else, Rega shuffled through her backpack. Where was that Proto Gun...

As Den approached Rescue Camp, one of the mecha knights let out a mechanical roar and charged him with its Jalovec held high.

As Amaria watched, something felt really off about this battle. More research would be necessary. Research meant his weapon would get a little hot.

Arms flailing, Den collapsed out of the way, to the right, more so out of surprise than necessity to dodge. Against the taunting light that bordered the mechanized monster, Den traced the hostile weapon, poised for his destruction. He fumbled frantically between retrieving his sword and standing back up.

Skyla stood straight up, repairs aside, and drew her falchion quickly.
Her programming would not allow innocents to be harmed.
It was her duty.
Charging out the tent, she swung for the nearest non-spiral target, swinging her first attack blunt side just in case her analysis was off, to wait for a human yelp- if it didn't come out, then the target was killed.
Skyla could not bother to waste time.
While it is a well known fact that humans are bad at multitasking, the complete opposite is usually true for robots.
Skyla started uplinking Lyra to her Comms and H.U.D. - all the while hacking and slashing for the zombies and robots.

Entering the depot looking for the scanner, Mundy ended up finding the target itself. Dozens of damaged and looted Battle Sprites lay on a corner of the storage room. Spherical constructs stripped of their shiny frontal plating, with dead-black eyes staring at nothing. They probably never even got to look at a Wolver before their destructions.
Guess someone had the same idea that I had.
Rather miffed at the fact that so many got scrapped just from entering the planet, he began digging in.

After 20 minutes of fidling with Sprite corpses, Vakarian lined up his findings:
-A XENOS MK I "alien lifeform" scannner.
-One Power Core.
-3 Levitation Units.
And best for last:
-A Battle Sprite with only it's power source and optics broken! Well, it's also stripped of it's frontal plating, but...
"Excellent!" Mundy let out loud, and immediately strapped his findings in a piece of cloth found lying around, making a nice egg-shaped package.

Soon after that, he heard screaming outside. Then the iconic sound of Blaster gunfire. Finnally, a somewhat familiar voice shouting a warcry. With Blaster allready tight in hands, Mundy stormed out of the storage.

THUD!

Ragnir let his hammer down in a massive swing, crushing a distracted Mecha Knight beneath it and sending two more of them flying aside. A small amount of ice broke off of the hammer in tiny shards that formed a small area of cold air around where the hammer had struck.

"Ha! How's that?!" Ragnir lifted his hammer again, then stepped back as a few more Mecha Knights turned toward him.

The shield! Ragnir swore under his breath and jumped back, then reached a hand up and slung his shield down onto his forearm. The shield was held in place by straps; while this chafed a little, it would allow him to wield his Iceberg Hammer more freely.

Whoosh! A Mecha Knight's sword cut down through the air where Ragnir had just been moments ago; the Knight brought its sword up again for another slash, but it bounced off Ragnir's shield. Ragnir retaliated with a sideways swing of the Iceberg Hammer, but-Clunk!- the Mecha Knight had a shield too, and the Hammer only knocked it away, not causing very much damage.

Ragnir's eyes darted to a source of motion at his left side; another Mecha Knight, in an attempt to flank Ragnir, earned a smash in the side from the Iceberg Hammer for its trouble. The blow sent it careening into a cliffside, and the impact knocked its head off its mechanical body.

"Ha!" Ragnir had taken down two of the enemy now. But now he was on the defensive; the other Mecha Knight laid into his shield, trying to get around it and land a hit on Ragnir himself...

---

Rega watched in surprise as the robot ran right past her and into the fray, then reached into her pack and grabbed the Proto Gun.

If we lose, they'll eat my brains anyway. I'll help the Knights fight them.

Wondering where the heck her brother was, Rega slung her pack back onto her back and picked up the Proto Gun. It wasn't meant for much more than self-defense against one or two lone hostiles, or maybe to keep a pack of Ice Hounds away, but it'd have to do!

Rega looked outside the tent. There was the robot. She looked like she was doing fine. And then there was...

Omigosh! An Iron Wolf! Between him and my brother, there's no way we can lose!

Rega moved a little closer. On Brumava, the Iron Wolves had been a strange combination of famous and infamous, and Rega didn't want to take any chances. She leveled the Proto Gun at the zombies and prepared to fire- or to run.

And then someone leveled her gun back down.
"Dont try to fight with this thing, it will just startle them...." said Mundy as he lowered her gun. His Blaster had some smoke coming from its tip. Looking behind her, Rega saw a Zombie's corpse fiddled with bullet holes a few dozen steps away from her. "Just save it for when something is actualy coming at you." he finished while bringing up his old Magnus from a broken lockbox.
"You're Ragnir's sister, right?" he asked, but wouldnt pay attention to Rega's reply, as he was looking at his HUD. " He's... uh, near the wounded tent, and that's where I'm going as well. We cant let those things get near anyone. I think you should follow me."

Holding the blade horizontally in front of his face Amaria slowly moved closer to one of the unsuspecting reanimations, it was clear to all they had been withered for a while by the clear set of bones visible in some places.

No armor, not very responsive, and from the look of it not very strong but then again looks are always apt to lie as well.

Giving his arm a quick twist, a small click was heard as the read blade gave off a rather hot glow. The Red Saber seemed to be catching a blaze at this point, not on fire but heat was starting to radiate off of it.

They can't feel tempiture differences, this could work in my favor.

Coming up behind his target the Swordsmen lowered his weapon, taking more of an offensive stance. So close to the creature he could smell the rot coming off it's body. Horrible as it was ugly looking. Shaking his head Amaria slashed crossway up it's body. To the untrained eye the blade only hit once, but in fact he had already struck the creature twice. Considering it's exposed nature and the fact his blade had a bad habit of igniting things it cut the creature was sure to have burst into flame.

As his hand reached the high end of the slash the blade span around, the curve once more facing the back of the zombie from above should a second strike be warranted.

Sorry for inactivity

"Told you they will make it here..." Chael grumbled, drawing his brandish. Currently the place is filled with knights– some even injured –so using bomb is a no go. The mist bombs would also affect unarmored knights, making the bomber unable to fight with his greatest forte. "This is insane complicated" He charged his brandish and went to the center of the rescue camp.

Suddenly, a screech stabbed trough his ear. Cold dead hands pinned the knight to the ground, and before he realize it, he has been tackled by a dust zombie. "Excuse me mister, but I'm in a hurry!" He stabbed the charged brandish into the zombie's belly ( If they have one ) and the blade exploded in fury. Seconds later, the attacker crumbled back to its grave.

" This is Chael speaking, tell me which side they are grouped in, better so if there is no knights around!"

Tinkering

(I'm putting Grael in a tent, there are tents right?)

The device was proving difficult to modify, as the technology designed very differently than any other blade.

Frustrated, Grael dropped the circular vortex of energy and reached for the spur to reattach the disc launcher. His fingers closed around the handle when he heard gunfire erupt out of nowhere. Startled, he dropped the sword and whirled around. Grael stomped over to the door flap and poked his head out to berate those responsible...

...to see a mechanical knight turn towards him brandishing a sword and shield. Grael fumbled for his gun as the Mecha knight turned towards him, he pulled it out and leveled it on the knight. He squeezed the trigger and three bullets streaked through the air. The Mecha knight reacted normally and raised its shield, the bullets fizzled against the tempered metal. The Mecha knight lowered its shield and was promptly smashed by a hammer that shimmered like ice. Grael watched the hammer wielding knight smash through two others and jump back to retrieve a shield.

OK...

Grael reloaded and disappeared back into his tent, reemerging after a few seconds with his rectangular plate shield strapped to his arm and his spur at his waist. He ran towards where the hammer knight went, and found himself staring down a Mecha knight. A puff of smoke discharged from the exhaust pipe and the Mecha knight started forward.

Grael let two shots loose, aiming for the top and bottom of the knight. It's shield whipped around and deflected one, but the other bullet slipped past and exploded against the robots chassis. It staggered, and went to charge again. However something slowed it. Grael grinned as the stunning bullet took effect. His gun had almost completely charged, and the stun allowed it to finish. The ding echoed in his head as he fired the electrically charged bullet. Slowed by the effect of the first shot, the Mecha knight had no chance as the charge shot exploded against it and let loose a torrent of electricity. The knight froze up, its optical sensors flickering, then the flickering slowed to nothing, and the knight crumpled to the ground.

Satisfied the danger had past, Grael crouched near the fallen robot, and pondered going back to his tent and hiding.
(Edit: One enemy it is then! Also changing so its more open to interaction with other people.)

(Excuse the long wait)

Ragnir's shieldstraps began to slip, but his assailant was quickly brought down by Grael's gunfire.

"Nice shooting!" Ragnir readjusted his shield. "All right, let's take out the trash!"

Ragnir began searching for more hostiles, keeping an eye on the hospital tents. Couldn't let them be breached...

---

"Whoa!" Rega turned around, clutching the Proto Gun, only to hear what Mundy was saying. How'd that one get so close?! ...Gotta be careful.

"The wounded tent? All right, I'll follow you!" Rega stayed behind Mundy, keeping alert for the sounds of zombies and Mecha Knights.

At the Wounded Tent.

As expected, multiple knights were fighting monsters at the Wounded Tent, but Mundy expected a higher number. There were in fact less knights around than a few hours ago. They must be focusing our forces somewhere else. Mundy tought. It doesnt matter, the defenders are getting swarmed. Without any further ponderings, the valkyrie readied his weapon as a construct approached. Another bipedal, but with a sword and shield. At this sight, Mundy let off a chuckle. Mechanical imitations of swordfighters were made before all this, and all of them were of laughable inferiority against skilled knights...
The Mecha Knight immediately broke Mundy's expectations as it dashed foward and carved a slash into his Magnus. He immediately brought the gun back up and fired it into the mech's chest, to no result. It appears the construct is well plated. To make it worse, the gunshot triggered a reflex response from the mech wich made it bring up the shield in a blocking pose, trapping Vakarian's gun and hand between it's shield and blade.
After seconds of struggle, Mundy forced his gun out and knuckled the bot's sword hand, sending the blade flying away. Before he could make any comments about the robot's lack of grip, it continued lashing one hand at him, as if it never lost it's blade in the first place.
"Wow, nobody programmed you to know if you just lost your weapon, huh?!". Mundy backed the heck away. The Magnus now holstered, he fired the charged blaster right in the Mecha Knight's face. To his further surprise, that managed to finish it off.

"Wait, a Magnus shot cant punch trough your armor, but a Blaster can?" Seeing another knight fighting off more Mecha's, he fired a full salvo on the back of one of them. Once again, it crippled the construct, which was then taken out by the other knight. Repeating this on the others, he helped the comrade take down that patch easily. Mundy was about to ask the closest person, namely Rega, what was going on with the armor of these creatures, but decided there were other priorities. He waved at the ally before it went away to hunt other mobs. It was that Guardian he saw earlier.

Vakarian lowered his gun and approached the knight. "Sir, uh, you're the highest patent of knighthood I've encountered since I got here. Do you know where everyone else is?"

Ashes to Ashes

Taking the blade down after watching the undead abomination topple over Amaria looked around, it seemed his skills where still sharp considering the fact none of the other undead had triggered on his presence. Still it did feel odd, no marks not signs of a caster, and most troubling of they didn't seem to be following any kinda direction, just shambling about in any order they felt like. With no leader there was no telling what kinda devastation the corpse could wreck.

With an unseen sigh the Swordsmen turned on the Radio and announced his findings via images that he sent to any one receiving on there H.U.Ds.

Most of my equipment is rather inoperable so I can't use my deception trick if I get cough, still have my wits about me. Honestly I did my part here, it would be in our best bet to make sure the wounded are extracted or at least protected from the main threat first.

Turning the blade around so it was behind him once more the Swordsmen lowered his center of gravity as he made a rather hard but quick dash to the main part of this battle. Of course he wasn't caring who he bumped, rather pushing them out of his way. Of course anyone who couldn't here the pinging of his armor wasn't too bright to start with.

If I was a betting man, which I am not, I would suffice it to say that that the hard hitting knights are currently defending the wounded while the more adept are currently warding back the bots....

In his though and run the Swordsmen came up behind a Mech-knight who was poised to strike one of his fellow warrior's. With little hesitation Amaria held his blade before his face, the heated edge of the weapon starting to give life to the blaze it carried just below it's surface. "The world open to me in the heat of battle, weakness known to me, time to go to work." With that said the man as the Red Saber burst through the chest of the Mech-Knight.

It had little care for what Amaria had done for as the blade appeared it was still trying to slash through what ever was before it, of course that was before the heat wave. Feeling like a volcano in heat, Amaria slowly pulled the blade out his boot already in the back of the bot kicking it to the ground. Turning the blade around he slammed it into the head of the robot, of course what he didn't count on was the explosion of bolts and circuitry.

Small tinks across his armor and ground where the only sound of his victory, the grass starting to catch the embers and show signs of his presence. Of course he wasn't really meant to be seen and thus when his work was finished he started running again, his blade behind him was he ran should he need to take quick action.

Tinkering

Gun fully reloaded, Grael peeked around the pod and saw the Hammer Knight fighting two or three at a time. The Hammer knight smashed through two but then faltered as his shield slipped down, lowering his guard. Taking aim, Grael squeezed off two shots at the remaining Mecha-Knight. The bullets smashed into the less armored back of the robot one hitting its sword arm, and the other hitting its leg. It buckled and its head swung around to meet the third bullet which shut it down completely.

He vaguely heard the Hammer knight say something about 'trash', but Grael was busy reloading his Stunvolt. Ready to engage the enemy, Grael followed the Hammer knight and they met two other knights. The one leading was a Valkyrie in Padded armor carrying a interesting looking Magnus. The other was a girl who clutched a standard-issue Proto-gun.

While the others conversed, Grael peeked around at the battle. He didn't consider himself to be a marksman enough to interfere with other fights, especially now where the knights were in front of the robots. Instead Grael settled on looking around, ready to add some extra firepower where needed.

(Didn't Thin say something about only fighting one enemy at a time because this fight was important?)

Frenzy

Skyla dashed back and forth, this way and that- They were everywhere, and it was hard to concentrate on fighting one at a time-
Clearly she needed to speed up, faster, quicker than any of these robots; If she planned to take any of them on-
Her motors and gears span faster, faster, faster, faster- Skyla's metal plating could be seen glowing from the intensity that she was working at- Skyla weaved her arms between the gaps in the swordplay and smashed one bot upward that rushed at her, quickly dashing back out to face the rest of the bots menacingly waving their swords and shields at her.

Ragnir spotted another Mecha Knight heading for the tent from behind some brush; the smokestacks on its back betrayed its position to Ragnir. Approaching from the side, Ragnir swung his Hammer from behind it, striking it from the back and knocking it over. Bringing the hammer around, Ragnir lifted it above the knocked-down Mecha Knight as it reached for its shield and let gravity do the rest; the Mecha Knight split apart at the seams.

"Bah, trying to be sneaky? Try that when you're not puking smoke out of your back!"

"Hey, where were you?" Rega, upon spotting Ragnir, had ran toward him.

"Right here! Shoot, where were you?"

"Long story. Think I can help in the wounded tent?"

"Good thinking. Head in there and help out the doctors any way you can. And if a hostile breaks in, my comlink's on the grid."

"Gotcha!" Rega ran to the wounded tent through the entrance Ragnir had just been guarding.

Meanwhile, Ragnir ran to help out Mundy. "Thanks for keepin' an eye on my little sis, Mundy. Now let's see if we can't clear this place out!"

Damn, this is too confusing

Everytime his foot clashed with the ground, and with every– Hurried –breath he took, Chael could hear battle cries and impact of swords. Why? They have just escaped from Isora, then from The Skylark, after that The Crash, and now they must escape from The RESCUE CAMP? It's called the rescue camp damnit! You must be joking.

"How far have they breached?" His step is significantly faster. Reaching for the backpack, he grabbed a firecracker. It's a tiny life saving habit of his that has been proven usefull from time to time. Like when he was ambushed by a morai spldier, or when- When he came accross some knights. By some knights, I meant an injured knight and a mechanized knight– With both struggling with their life at stake. "Great!" He whispered to himself.

He armed the bomb. "Hey! You! Get Outta here and join the rest!"

(( I changed my writing style into somewhat of a story telling FYI, if you guys noticed some place in my writing is odd [Ex: when i said I meant] ))

Gonna salvage this mess of a battle

Suddenly, a piercing screech rang though the air, a sound so loud that everyone's ears began to bleed. Only Amaria knew that sound; he'd heard it once before during the siege of Va'Ilsol. There was no other sound like it in the world.

The Valkyrian Screech.

When a Valkyrie is in the throes of death, she may unleash a supernatural cry as a last resort to gain the upper hand. The Valkyrian Screech is so powerful that it can permanently damage her entire respiratory tract, lungs, vocal cords, and all. Most Valkyries never have to use it in their lifetimes, and if they must, it's only in self defense.

Yet, for the first time in known history, a Valkyrie used it offensively, and against the knights.

This was no ordinary Valkyrie.

Still running, the Swordsmen's mind running with the thoughs of what was going on to cause an unprovoked attack yet finding no answers out side of preformed notions. It was all that was really keeping him from turning around and doing something reckless at the moment, then like a pound of bricks to the head a screech.

Almost falling face first in the dirt, Amaira caught himself as the scream of a demon wreaked havick on his ears. Trying to recover from the sound he the Swordsmen started to peace together what just happened.

No, I know that sound. My, former, squad could tell anyone that sound.

With his voice, already sounding inhuman, the swordsmen yelled rather loudly across the comlinks. "That was a Valkyrie! And it didn't feel friendly."

At least from my stand point, if it was a Valkyrie why would it use suck a thing like this, unless.

Turning in the direction of the scream Amaria looked on as he stood on his feet, blade in an offence stance as if waiting an attack from something not human.

For once, let me be wrong.

Wuhhchaaa!

The blade shredded through the dusty soil with a terrifying thud, enough to induce a shudder through the construct's body. Out came Den's sword, decision made, when the sword came down for another blow. Astonished by the speed of the mech, Den thrusted his sword up in frightened self-defence.

The collision struck pain down Den's arms, which flew backward violently. His pitiful sword was tossed into the air, cracked. With a shout of pain, Den leapt to his feet, sustained by adrenaline. Three steps were all he managed before the ear shattering screech slammed him to the ground. As if a hand had shot out of the ground and grabbed him, Den dropped to the ground, ears ringing so loud he could no longer comprehend sound.

In an extraordinary feat, he remained conscious, pain in his arms temporarily forgotten as they shielded his ears in vain desperation.

Tinkering

Grael was still peering around when the screech started. He fell to his knees, clutching his ears as the earsplitting sound tore through the air. What was that?!? Falling forward, Grael did whatever he could to shield his ears from the horrible sound that threatened to crack open his head. An eternity had passed when the sound ended, and Grael nervously picked himself off the ground.

"That was a Valkyrie! And it didn't feel friendly."

Grael registered the warning, but was too exhausted to reply. He looked around in a daze, and scrabbled for his Stunvolt lying about an arm's length away. With his pistol clutched in both hands, Grael looked around for the source of the terrifying scream. Hopefully whoever identified this Valkyrie new how to fight one.

*Demoman scream*

Vakarian strechted his hands violently in response to the scream, his mouth and even wings wide open, torso trusted foward as if he himself was screeching too. In his face, the clear expression of pain. It's the call of agony, it's the call of despair. Somewhere inside him, he could feel it was also a call for hate, for fighting. The Fallen's plead.

The screaming stopped outside, but he could still hear it echoing in the gaps of his helmet, in the cavities of his lungs. Ringing amidst the tears that were dropping from his face.
Many knights, the mechanical ones included, were standing on their knees. But he was on his feet, his face in a mixture of anger and sadness. Looking around him for a while, Mundy proceded to holster his gun and close his eyes. He tried to follow the scream's remains as they were still fainting down inside of him, to find their source.
That was not a death scream. Whoever shouted it wants to call for a fight....

Allow me to introduce you to the Black Valkyrie.

A shroud of darkness fell over Rescue Camp. Both living and mecha knights stumbled about for something to guide them. The air hissed. Someone gurgled and slumped to the dirt. Mecha knights crumpled and fell silent.

Something grabbed Mundy by the throat and lifted him off his feet.
A sharp pain tore through his chest.

When the darkness lifted, the Valkyrie was nowhere to be seen, but left in its wake an army of destroyed mecha knights along with two fallen Spiral knights. One of the two was a young recruit, his head nearly torn from his shoulders save for a few strips of flesh. The other was Mundy, convulsing from the deep wound in his chest.

Kora raced to his side and struggled to open the can of biofoam. The can hissed and sputtered when she tried to spray the wound. "D-darnit all..." she muttered. "Come on!" But the can wouldn't produce any more biofoam no matter how much she banged on it. Eventually, she decided to plug the wound with a strip of cloth. "Y-you're gonna be okay. J-just hang in there!"

Mundy couldnt say more in response other than gurgles and gasps.
NO NEVERMIND IT WAS JUST A MONSTER. NEVERMIND ABOUT THAT STUPID CALL FOR FIGHT, IT WAS JUST SOME FALLEN WITCH LOOKING FOR A KILL, WHY WERE YOU SO STUPID.
Vakarian pressed against his chest's wound, maybe as a display of paramedical action, maybe in just sheer agony.

[[I may not be in a position to say this, seeing as I'm not participating in this RP (unless reading counts as participating), but usually you'd need to get a green light from the OP (Thinslayer, in this case) for your Character Application in the discussion thread of the RP before posting. There are, of course, exceptions to this -- RP's which follow a "just jump in and play" motto, for example. But even in those types of RP's a certain amount of description for your character is needed in the first post for the convenience of other RP'rs -- it's hard to react to a character that you have no details of. Four lines probably isn't enough to give a proper reaction to your character, but I digress; this RP isn't under the jump-in-and-play form. Or... At least not to my knowledge.

My recommendation would be to Edit over Post #98 with "Redacted", and post an application in the Discussion Thread (which I've linked above). The format for applications can be gained by looking at others' examples.

Don't react to this post in this thread, doing so will increase the post number for no reason. React in the Discussion Thread (once again, linked above), if anything.

Sorry for taking up a post.]]

(Its all good Ember, I am sure Thin would have done the same. You just saved him some typing.)

Darkness, a friend and an enemy at the same time. Still the presence in the air wasn't what Amaria would of called 'friendly' at the moment. Shaking his head the Swordsmen got to his feet, not really a stranger to feeling almost spent, heading off in the direction of the epicenter of the transpired event.

Why did that feel staged, the Zombies showing no markings or runes of alchemy, robotic knights using armor and shields on par with our own. If anything some one knew where we were and set an attack based on when we were at our weakest. None of these knights would have snitched...

Amaira came to a stop, almost stumbling to the ground if not for his hand holding him up while his weapon was drawn. Looking around he just caught sight of Kora and a downed Knight.

Not good, this dose look like the main stage for what ever happened.

To his left the sight of a young knight, just in the prime of his youth and yet it cut short via incomplete decapitation. To his left a still breathing knight who seemed to be bleeding quite badly from a wound in his chest. The medical team wasn't going to get here in time thanks to all the new wounded out there and cleanup crews where just going to count the downed man as a second fatality of the battle.

Getting up on shaken legs the Swordsmen rushed over to the downed man, sheathing his blade, only to return with a field Medic bag, kept mostly for himself while on a mission.

"Take it," He said holding out the bag, his voice coming off inhuman, "he is in critical need. It might have something to save his life."

Looking down at the wounded man Amaira got closer to hear him if he was going to speak.

"Talk to me soldier, what did you see."

Be wrong, just please be wrong.
